Courtney Love is described as mentally unstable in newly released deposition papers filed by her daughter Frances Bean Cobain, who sought a restraining order in 2009.

Frances Bean, now 19, says Love’s behavior even caused her pets' death.

Their cat kicked it after getting entangled in Love’s messy piles of "Etsy fabrics, boxes of paperwork, trash and other possessions,” according to the court papers, while the dog swallowed several of Love’s stash of prescription pills.

In order to ensure that no other pets fell victim to Love’s pill-popping habits, Cobain included her dog, Uncle Fester, on the restraining order which was granted.

Among those Love was ordered to avoid contact with include Cobain, Uncle Fester, Cobains’ grandmother and her aunt. The primary reason? Love's drug use.

“(She) has taken drugs for as long as I can remember,” Cobain said.

“She basically exists now on ... Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes. She rarely eats ... She often falls asleep in bed while smoking."

"I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times to date) that will threaten all of our lives.”

Lindsay Lohan is getting some terrific mentoring these days.

In a textbook case of the blind leading the blind, Courtney Love tells Details she is personally taking over as her sobriety coach, "because nobody else will."

We can sorta see that, and it takes one to know one, right? That's what the 47-year-old Hole singer and widow of Kurt Cobain says makes her a great fit.

With her help, Court says, Lindsay will be at the morgue, but only for community service!

Love says Lohan, 25, is "much further down the line than I was" in her issues, noting that she came of age before the intense scrutiny of celebrity gossip world.

She cites her own iconic husband's mishandling of fame as a reason for her downfall. "I was co-dependent, and decided to become a junkie with him,” she said.

Love, who says she’s been clean since 2005, also recalled an incident in which she tried to use her past behavior to show Lohan that drug use is life abuse.

"I went up to Lindsay's room and there was a show on called 101 Celebrity Oops and I am like every other one, you know - boobs out, legs everywhere, throwing $h!t at Madonna, you know, whatever," she recalled. "I'm like 'Lindsay, look! Drugs are bad!'"

Maybe this is going to work out great after all ...

Frances Bean Cobain, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's daughter turns 19 next week. The time really flies, and she really has grown up in a hurry.

Love responded to a question about whether Brad Pitt could portray Kurt in a biopic: "Kurt had more presence and more beauty than Brad Pitt. He was a leader, he was strong, in fact he was well f*%king hung, if you really want to know."

Courtney Love has issues.

Her daughter, with the late Kurt Cobain, Frances Bean, just turned 18, and let's just say Court didn't mark the occasion with a nice Hallmark card.

Frances Bean Cobain was publicly blistered by her rock star mom on Twitter in a string of vintage Courtney Love impassioned, nonsensical attacks.

She was scolded that "youve done a damned good job frances of destroying anything i could build" and warned that Love can and will "ruiinher."

"Why would you leave me and my life in tatters like this" reads another Love Tweet. "was that therapist right? Why do you want to ruin my life?"

But in typical Courtney fashion, she turns on a dime to regrets and seemingly bona dide compliments, Tweeting that she "aches" for her daughter.

"I long for your kiss, your sweet head smell," she notes sweetly, with odd word choices. "I long for youm I ache for youm I die for you every day."

The two have engaged in a vicious, often public battle since late last year, when her own unstable conduct cost her legal guardianship of Frances.

Courtney's latest album, Nobody's Daughter, written while the star was in rehab, was released in April, just weeks after Frances released a record.

Maybe mom and daughter can mend fences and collaborate on a record together next? Some of these Tweets would make for tremendous lyrics.

In a new interview with Great Britain's The Daily Mirror, Robert Pattinson touches on a number of topics.

We'll get to those momentarily, but first props must be given to the actor for calling out Courtney Love.

Asked about the rumor that he was up for the role of Kurt Cobain in an upcoming biopic, Pattinson said he never considered it - and then blasted Love for her negative remarks (when she referred to that possibility as "stupid") in April.

"You see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying ’What the f*ck! He’s totally wrong for it’, and I’m like, ’I f*cking said no, you d*ck!’ I didn’t get offered it. For one thing, I’m too tall, and I can’t sing like him, I’m nothing like him!’ It’s ridiculous."

You go, boy!

Pattinson was also asked about similarities to Edward, along with his next movie, Bel Ami. Excerpts from the interview follow:

On identifying with Edward: It’s changed a bit in this film. In the first two, I guess there was his feeling that you can’t relate to anyone, or no one can relate to you. I was like, ’I never want to talk to anyone’. I used to feel like that when I was younger. I’ve grown up now.

On his next role: There’s something fun about Bel Ami, going from Edward to some guy who pretty much abuses women to get money out of them. Edward so wouldn’t approve – and I thought that was a funny irony.

On other career aspirations: I want to produce a film. It would be so satisfying to turn up to work and not have to go into costume or make-up. You stand behind the monitor and don’t even have the responsibility of the director.

On Kristen Stewart: I can't wait to marry her.

Courtney Love. Facebook. The mere fact that these things exist means bizarre stuff is always within reach, but we didn't expect her to take it this far.

It might not get any cuter than Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani and their children. Just look at the family on Halloween last year.

Conversely, it doesn't get much uglier than Courtney Love, especially when she appears on The Howard Stern Show and tries to break up Gavin and Gwen by making wild accusations.

Such was the case yesterday, as the Hole singer randomly went off on Rossdale's abilities in the sack, saying:

"He was such an Adonis in his day... He got good in bed... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know."

Wait, Stern interjected, does that mean Love slept with Gavin both before and after he was married? Yes, she claims, adding that Rossdale also cheated on Stefani with "a few other people" and:

"We didn't have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit. We had a really good time."

We have no idea of Courtney is telling the truth, but study the photo above. Now look at Gwen Stefani. Need we say more? Gavin's defense rests.

The late Kurt Cobain’s wife, Courtney Love, says she considered committing suicide earlier this month - and that Courtney Love is already dead.

In a sense.

Revealing that she is a danger to herself, Love told NME, "I think a lot of people idealize suicide. I understand it. I had an episode two weeks ago."

"I was tempted to jump out of a window. I'm not saying why but the reason behind it is self-loathing. Wouldn't it be better if I was not there?"

I've always been pretty self-destructive. I need protection from myself," Love said, adding that she has decided to stop using her stage name.

"Courtney Love is dead," she said. "We've all decided we don't like her any more. We love her on stage, but I don't need her in my life."

The number 5150 comes to mind.

Whatever surname she goes by, Courtney is insane.

Asked how she would prefer to be addressed in the future, she replied: "Courtney Michelle. The name Courtney Love is a way to oppress me."

The 45-year-old singer, born Courtney Michelle Harrison, is back on the road with her band, Hole, which is releasing a new album this month.

Lastly, she says she's "sick" of answering questions about her marriage to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain: "I am not his spokesperson on Earth."

Unless she decides to weigh in on Robert Pattinson casting rumors, that is. It's a selective thing. What would her late husband be like now?

"I don't know what he'd be like now, he could be into society girls, be into fat girls, he could be homosexual. We don't know, he died at 27."

So profound. Probably a good thing their daughter Frances Bean Cobain isn't living with Courtney Love/Michelle/Whatever for the time being.
