My So-Called Life star has grown up.

Claire Danes bares her soul on a nearly weekly basis on Showtime's Homeland, crying up an impressive storm and winning the last two Emmy Awards for Lead Actress in the process.

But the beautiful star bares something else in the latest issue of Interview: her breasts!

Almost, that is.

Danes opens up to the magazine about the challenges of portraying a bipolar CIA agent on the drama - and she does it as part of a feature that also includes a couple very alluring images.

Claire Danes' Emmy dress, her surprising new hairstyle and her husband were all the subjects of great interest among viewers of the telecast last night.

She also made the list of Emmy winners for the second straight year. Ho hum.

  • Claire Danes Hair
  • Claire Danes at the Emmys
  • Claire Danes, Husband

The actress' short, apparently clipped bob was much shorter than fans are used to, even compared to her shoulder-length hair just one night earlier.

Fans and red carpet hosts alike were abuzz after the Homeland star seemingly went the way of Miley Cyrus, Lena Dunham and made this drastic charge.

The riddle was quickly solved, and the talents of celebrity hairstylist Peter Butler revealed. The bob was created as an illusion to elongate her neck.

So to speak. Using a combination of products and techniques, he managed to alter her look dramatically based on Danes' plunging Armani Prive gown.

Styled, parted, combed, pinned and styled again, Danes' look was complete. As for the star's husband? He's Hugh Dancy, a British actor (Hannibal).

What do you think of Claire Danes' Emmy look?

Claire Danes has landed the role of a lifetime in Homeland, playing bipolar CIA agent Carrie Matheson on the award-winning drama.

But the trajectory of this star's career was not always so bright, even following an incredible performance in 2010 as Temple Grandin.

"I was stuck," the 34-year-old tells the August issue of Vogue of her attempts to find another role. "It was confusing. I got a lot of plaudits, and it didn't translate into more work. I was really, really struggling during that time."

Usually, a face-off involving Heidi Klum features Heidi Klum and a sacrificial lamb. The woman has four kids and still looks like ... well, see any Heidi Klum pictures.

Claire Danes just might give her a run for her fashion money here, though. The actress, who won an Emmy for portraying Temple Grandin, is simply breathtaking.

What classic, elegant style. Heidi's dress is, you might say, a tad more revealing. If you have legs like that, why not flaunt them. Who looked better, though? Tell us ...

  • Heidi K.
  • Classy Claire

Who looked better at the Emmys, Heidi or Claire?

This is incredible.

A celebrity couple has managed to get married without alerting every member of the paparazzi or selling its photos to the highest bidder.

Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre and Michael Buble

Earlier this month, Claire Danes and British actor Hugh Dancy got hitched in a low-key ceremony in France. This is actually the first we're hearing about it, and we loved My So-Called Life!

The event was attended by just family and a few close friends. Of her new husband, who she had dated for two years, Danes told BlackBook magazine:

“He’s such a cutie patootie. While relationships are work, this just didn’t feel like it. It’s the kind of work that feels energizing rather than enervating. I find it very freeing to know that, okay, it takes constant nurturing and attention, but I can also stop looking for the one.”

Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy are getting married, the pair's rep confirms.

Danes, 29, and Dancy, 33, met while filming the movie Evening in Newport, R.I., and have been dating since, for more than a year and a half.

The American actress and her British boyfriend recently stepped out at the Screen Actors Guild and Directors Guild awards in Los Angeles.

At the Confessions of a Shopaholic World Premiere in New York on Thursday night, Dancy spoke about what he looks for in his perfect girl.

"Someone who's intelligent, somebody who makes me laugh," he said. "I know people always say a good sense of humor, but they're usually lying. What's most important is somebody who kind of has an independent life and ambition."

No word on when he and Claire Danes plan to wed. But congrats!

Why run a story about a non-controversial star like Claire Danes and her boyfriend enjoying a new, fun hobby ?

Because not every piece of celebrity gossip involves British babes in Nuts magazine or descriptions of the daily Britney Spears nipple slip photos.

Deal with it.

In any case, Danes and Hugh Dancy seem to be getting along swimmingly. You could say they're diving into the world of romance... yet still getting their feet wet.

If you're wondering when we're going to run out of these bad puns, don't hold your breath. It will happen around the time Lindsay Lohan grows up.

After attending a spate of press events in the last few days, the largely Hollywood gossip-free couple are planning a scuba-diving vacation.

"I've never scuba-dived, but hopefully, I'm going to. The day after tomorrow," Dancy told People Monday at a Cinema Society screening of their film Evening. "I'm going on a holiday."

Asked if Claire Danes was going with him on the vacation, Dancy said: "Yes."

But the actor, who just wrapped up a stint in the Tony award-winning play Journey's End, was coy about their exact destination.

When asked if the getaway was to an island, Dancy would only say, "It's not a landlocked country."

He added: "I've never done scuba, but I'm not very good at those holidays where you do absolutely nothing, so I figure I'd learn to swim underwater."

And Claire Danes supports her beau's adventurous side. Backstage at Sunday's Tony Awards in the gift lounge, she requested an Invicta diving watch for Dancy.

Dancy and Danes began dating while filming Evening in Newport, R.I.

"We hadn't met before," Dancy said Monday. "It's an amazing place."

Danes, a Gwyneth Paltrow look-alike, recently told People that she and Dancy "just happened upon each other because we were friends." Dancy said of the relationship:

"I'm having a great time."

Aww. You see? Not every celebrity has a contrived, fake relationship fueled by gossip and staged photos. Talking to you, Heidi Montag.
