According to the new issue of Star, the singer - currently taking a break from The Voice - is nearly done with her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, Matthew Rutler.

The latest issue of Us Weekly states that Christina Aguilera has hit rock bottom.

But, sadly, that actually does not appear the case.

A witness at Osteria Mozza - the same establishment where Christina and Matt Rutler dined/drank prior to their arrest earlier this month - tells the tabloid the couple returned to that restaurant just three days after their wasted run-in with the police. And?

"She acted as if the arrest never happened," the onlooker says. "When their server offered them dessert, they asked for more wine."

Pssst, Christina: Maybe someone else should drive.

Tinger and her boyfriend wised up and took a chauffeured limo home, but a friend is still considered:

"She should see the arrest as a wake-up call, but she doesn't. She doesn't think things are that bad."

New details have emerged on Christina Aguilera's recent arrest, and they don't make the singer or boyfriend Matthew Rutler look very good.

Sources tell TMZ that Christina and her man dined in a private room at posh Los Angeles restaurant Osteria Mozza until well past midnight. Deep into a couple bottles of wine, a fellow patron reportedly recognized Aguilera, asked the waiter to send her a drink and was told: "She's already drinking a bottle of wine... or two."

Hilarious.

Meanwhile, both Rutler and Aguilera have been released from jail. They are allegedly holing up in her Beverly Hills home.

Pulled over by police for swerving on the road, Rutler blew a .09 on the breathalyzer, according to Radar Online. The legal limit in California is .08. He doesn't look too broken up about it in the mug shove above, does he?

As for Christina, L.A. County Sheriff Office spokesperson Steve Whitmore says Aguilera was a complete mess when she and Rutler were pulled over: "When she got out of the car, she couldn't stand. We had to help her stand. She didn't know where she was and she didn't know her own address. We took her into custody for her own protection."

In what can be deemed as an incident any celebrity gossip follower could have easily seen coming, Christina Aguilera was arrested early this morning for public intoxication.

According to TMZ, the singer was booked around 3 a.m. at the West Hollywood police station for the misdemeanor offense, while boyfriend Matt Rutler was also processed on charges of drunk driving. His bail was set at $30,000.

It's been a troubling few months for Aguilera, as friends have been concerned over her downward spiral since her divorce from Jordan Bratman.

Aside from her memorably embarrassing national anthem mishap at the Super Bowl, Christina has most recently been accused of having sex with Rutler during a family gathering.

Cops reportedly pulled Rutler over this morning after they noticed him driving erratically. Sources say Aguilera acted "extremely intoxicated" and was "unable to take care of herself."

UPDATE: Says Sgt. Michael Thomas of West Hollywood Sheriff's Department: "Aguilera was taken into custody "for her own safety. It's kind of a welfare 'arrest.' Not a criminal arrest. She was intoxicated - too much to be in public. No one was available to take care of her, because the person she was with was arrested for drunk driving. When it's determined she's sober, she'll be released."

Need another sign that things are serious between Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler? The singer has spoken publicly about her new man for the first time.

Aguilera tells People she met Rutler on the set of Burlesque, but didn't officially start dating Rutler until her divorce was finalized, adding:

"Matthew is a special person. We had a really strong friendship on the movie. He's the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it's daylight."

Just how quickly are things progressing?

"I'm not trying to jump into anything," says the singer. "I just left a five-year marriage... There's a love there, yes. I'm having fun... I'm taking it slow and trying to be happy."

Bad news for concerned friends of Christina Aguilera: things are getting serious between the singer and production assistant/musician Matt Rutler.

Those close to Aguilera are reportedly worried that she's rebounding from her divorce with the wrong man, but that hasn't stopped this relationship from progressing.

The couple enjoyed an evening out at the Abbey in West Hollywood on November 24, where a witness says the pair drank, danced and "Christina was in a great mood and seemed very into Matt."

From there, sources tell People that Aguilera and Rutler flew to New York for the weekend, as the former left son Max with his father, Jordan Bratman.

"This is the first Thanksgiving she was without Max," said an insider. "It was really hard for her and she was feeling sad, so she decided to go to the East Coast with Matt and a group of friends."

Christina Aguilera has rebounded quickly from her recent divorce.

The singer has been spotted out with Matthew Rutler, a production assistant and a guitarist in the Nate Mott Band. The two met on the set of Burlesque in February and quickly bonded - much to the chagrin of friends.

“Christina is completely taken with Matthew," a source tells Star. "But he’s a wild rocker type with a reputation as a ladies’ man."

An insider says Rutler is in "heaven" because he's dating a celebrity.

“He networks like crazy with all the big names she introduces him to. He’s a major operator. And everything is on her dime, because he’s broke. Matt used to live in a crummy apartment with roommates; now he’s at her Beverly Hills mansion every night."

Following her divorce from Jordan Bratman, it's safe to say that Christina Aguilera is the most sought after new bachelorette in Hollywood. And it sounds like she's taking full advantage of that status!

An insider tells Hollywood Life that Aguilera has been carrying on a mostly physical relationship with Benji Madden: "It’s a sex thing. They get along really well," the source claims. "Christina likes the pace it is going and does not want anything to ruin that."

Madden, of course, has dated both Paris Hilton and Holly Madison, so we're just saying... be careful down there, Christina.
