Big day for Christina Aguilera today.

Not only does the pop superstar and Voice coach mark her NBC singing competition's third season finale, she turns 32 years old! Happy birthday, girl!

Christina has been around a long time, and been through a lot. She's been to the top of the music world, given birth to a son, and been through a divorce.

In the '90s, Mickey Mouse Club co-stars Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling and Keri Russell nicknamed her "the Diva" for her performance style and voice.

She certainly proved them right with the level of stardom she attained ... seven studio albums, 50 million units sold and tens of millions of dollars later.

The Voice's three remaining singers - Cassadee Pope, Terry McDermott and Nicholas David - gave it their all Monday in hopes of winning it all Tuesday night.

With stars so talented, yet divergent in style, it's anyone's game.

The three stars' teams have no relevance, with the coaches unable to sway the outcome beyond whatever their praise after the performances is worth.

Who will America crown the winner of The Voice Season 3?

Will it be Cassadee Pope, the pop-rock-turned-country cutie who reprised her signature performance of "Over You" in addition to Faith Hill's "Cry"?

Who will America save, and who will go after four terrific, stripped down performances?

Cassadee Pope continued to look, act and sound the part of a pop star with Keith Urban's "Stupid Boy", while teammate Terry McDermott's "Let it Be" was close to perfection ...

With the stakes high and little margin for error, The Voice's remaining six contenders gave it their all Monday in hopes of advancing to the NBC show's final four.

Even though the coaches' teams have little relevance anymore - Christina doesn't even have one left - it was a good night for Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton.

Cassadee Pope continued to shine as one of the favorites, looking, acting and sounding the part of a star, while Terry McDermott may have had the best night of all.

Watch all the performances from last night here and give us your take:

The Voice results show set a new precedent tonight.

Unlike previous seasons, the singers are no longer exclusively battling their team, and the coaches no longer have a say in who stays beyond The Voice Top 12.

In other words, it's anyone's game, and any team could lose two singers in a given week (some speculated this would happen to Christina right off the bat, in fact).

Did it? Find out who was sent home below ...

  • Cee Lo Green as a Judge
  • Blake Shelton on The Voice
  • Christina Aguilera on The Voice
  • Adam Levine on The Voice

The Voice's top 12 performed Monday night, with a twist: 10 will advance, with the coaches having no say. America's votes will be the only determining factor.

Also, no coach is guaranteed a spot in the finals, meaning any remaining singer can be voted off at any time. In other words, it's crunch time. So how'd they do?

Watch their performances and cast your votes below!

Adam Levine is, once again, speaking out in defense of fellow Voice coach Christina Aguilera, who has endured criticism over her weight in recent months.

During an appearance on Ellen (airing Monday), he said:

Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera

"It's a very basic thing. She should be left alone. No one should bother or haggle her about her weight or anything she does or says. So, that's it. That's how I feel about it."

Well put.
