Christina Aguilera is positively furious, and for very good reason.

Earlier in the week, the website MediaTakeOut published a picture of the singer's son and wrote the headline: "CHILD ABUSE???? CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S SON IS PHOTO'D WITH A BLACK EYE!!!"

Aguilera, who remained above the fray when called out by Kelly Osbourne, didn't sit idly by in the face of such an accusation and called upon her lawyer to issue a statement. Wrote Eric Greenspan to the site in question:

Christina Aguilera has agreed to perform at the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert in Wales in October, its promoters announced on Thursday.

Her fellow judge on The Voice, Cee Lo Green, will also be performing along with the likes of Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis, Craig David and JLS.

Many of the biggest names in music are being courted for the show.

At Rockefeller Center

Xtina is part of a still-growing star-studded lineup.

Members of the Jackson family will participate at the October 8 concert in Cardiff. His mother, Katherine, is the official host for the event.

According to a Global Live Events exec, there's more to come: "This announcement is just the beginning, we have many more to announce."

Come on, Kelly Osbourne. Tell us how you really feel about Christina Aguilera.

During a recent episode of E!'s Fashion Police, the former reality star went off on the singer, responding to host Joan Rivers' critique of Xtina at an event in Germany with:

"Maybe she is just becoming the fat bitch she was born to be. I don't know. She was a cunt to me. And she bought my house!"

  • Xtina for Extra

Kelly wasn't finished, either. She added of Christina: "She called me fat for so many f*cking years, so you know what? F*ck you! You're fat, too."

Osbourne has lost over 48 pounds over the last couple years, all of it starting with a stint on Dancing With the Stars. She has said she'd rather be called "ugly" than "fat."

"I just commit to half an hour a day," Osbourne said of her routine. "It doesn't seem overwhelming and I can handle that. I do half an hour on the treadmill and when I feel like doing more, I'll do a few sit-ups and some weights."

Clearly, she also enjoys exercising her opinions.

Unlike its nemesis on Fox, there's no judging controversy on The Voice. At least not yet.

Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will all return for the competition's second season.

The Voice Judges Panel

"Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of The Voice this year and we are thrilled that they are all returning," Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President of NBC, said in a statement. "We look forward to building season two and making The Voice an even greater experience for fans."

The NBC hit crowned Javier Colon as its first champion this week and will return in January.

The final four contestants on The Voice took to the stage a total of eight times last night.

We were treated to one original song by Dia, Javier, Beverly and Vicci; along with one duet with their Coach. The praise flowed all night from the judges, but viewers will get the final say.

Did Dia's hip version of "I Won't Back Down" win you over? Or were you instead moved to tears by Beverly and Christina teaming up on a version of "Beautiful?"

Check out all the performances below and don't take too long trying to determine which was best. The winner will be crowned tonight!

Tuesday night, The Voice top eight performed for a spot in the finals. Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton scored their team's singers. Those scores, along with America's votes, determined who advances.

So who got sent home and who's on to the final four?

Before we get to that, the show opened with all eight semifinalists singing a medley of "Freedom" and "Faith" by George Michael. It was pretty great:

On to the good and bad news. Each coach submitted a score, dividing up 100 points between their two members. America's votes were then added in, with equal weight, establishing who advanced and whose dreams ended.

On this week’s episode of The Voice, two of the coaches cut their teams down to size and the remaining eight contenders vied for spots in the finals.

The show also featured lives performance by Blake Shelton and Maroon 5, Adam Levine's band, with Christina Aguilera pitching in on the latter.

Here's Adam and Christina on "Moves Like Jagger" ...

Okay, on to the actual show. Cee Lo Green picked Nakia to go with America's choice, Vicci Martinez to stay. Pretty much no-brainers to advance.

America picked Javier Colon from Adam's side, following his rendition of “Angel” on last week's show. Adam selected Casey Weston to move on.

Eight are left, two from each team. Four will go home next, leaving four in the finals of The Voice. The cream is beginning to rise to the top.

Let's check out ALL of the elite eight's performances ...

Christina Aguilera poses naked on the latest cover of W Magazine.

This might make it difficult for any reader to focus on the interview inside, but that would be a shame. Because the singer touches on two of the obstacles that made the beginning of 2011 so challenging for her:

  1. Her split from Jordan Bratman.
  2. Her forgetting of the National Anthem lyrics prior to Super Bowl XLV.

On why she and Bratman got divorced: "At one time or another, we were both not angels. It got to a point where my life at home was reminding me of my own childhood. I will not have my son grow up in a tension-filled home..."

On the Super Bowl snafu: "Everything on the field at the Super Bowl was vividly bright, and I was having a moment. I got lost in the emotion of being there and I messed up the lyrics to the song."

Oh well. Christina has bounced back nicely, anchoring the panel on The Voice, this season's top-rated new show.

After last week's performances, Team Christina Aguilera and Team Blake Shelton both saw their numbers cut in half last night on The Voice.

Two moved on from each team. Two went home.

Meanwhile, Team Cee Lo Green and Team Adam Levine performed and will face the chopping block next week. It's quite confusing, we know.

So who's moving on to the elite eight and who's likely to join them after powerhouse performances this week? Let's break it down below ...

The Voice Judges Panel

Christina is crying. This is the toughest decision EVER. America voted to save Beverly McClellan, leaving Xtina to name the second survivor of the evening.

She adores everyone, but ultimately, Frenchie Davis moves on. Fitting that a pair of bald divas will be representing together (they're also the best singers).

Now for Team Blake. America saved Dia Frampton, while the country star cast his vote for Xenia, sending the two boys home in a bit of a surprise move.

Who will join Dia, Frenchie, Xenia and Bev in the final round? Teams Cee Lo and Adam laid it all on the line last night to make their case. Videos below ...
