All stars of The Bachelor are, by definition, fairly good looking individuals.

But Iowa farmer Chris Soules, a man's man with a million-dollar smile and winning personality to go with his handsome features, may take the cake.

Chris Soules: Hottest Bachelor Yet?

Just look at this photo of him from the Iowa State Fair. We rest our case.

Even if he wasn't your first choice, now that the 32-year-old is confirmed as The Bachelor, there's no denying that he brings a certain X factor to the role.

Not only is Chris Soules easy on the eyes, viewers and contestants alike know exactly where they stand, as he's there looking for a lifelong companion.

Yes, as The Bachelor, this is inherent ... to a point. Read: Juan Pablo Galavis.

Chris the Farmer is ready to find his Soules mate.

The Iowa native, a fan favorite during Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette, came on Good Morning America today after being confirmed as The Bachelor.

"I believe in the process," Chris Soules told the morning show's panel. "I believe in what I went through on the previous show and that's why I'm doing it."

Chris got the nod over Arie Luyendyk Jr. for The Bachelor, insiders say, because of his unusual background - not to mention fans' strong connection to him.

Unlike past Bachelor stars, it's very clear what he has to offer. Being a farmer's wife in Iowa might not appeal to every woman, but those it does appeal to?

Expect them to fight hard for Chris, because he blends his manly, yet sophisticated persona with an aura of confidence and chivalry to the role.

"My focus is going to be to make the girls that are on the show as comfortable as possible," he added. "That was my first initial challenge, was opening up to Andi."

"I'm going to do my best. I'm humbled, flattered, grateful."

Chris Soules has been confirmed as The Bachelor for the 2015 season - this time by the show and not just The Bachelor spoilers that leaked weeks ago.

We've known for a long time that the network named Chris Soules The Bachelor, but it hasn't been officially announced by his employers until today.

Team Chris all the way! Fire up the tractor and let's do this thing, ABC!

Chris Soules is The Bachelor 2015
Chris Soules is The Bachelor 2015. Here he is, leaving no doubts about it.

Arie Luyendyk Jr., the other former Bachelorette cast member hunk in the running for the job, even said late Monday that he was out of the running.

"I'm not the Bachelor," Luyendyk wrote. "Have fun on the farm people."

Soules, an Iowa farmer, will be bringing the franchise to the heartland.

A Bachelorette fan favorite on Andi Dorfman's recently concluded season, he finished third after the leading lady did not invite him to the Fantasy Suite.

If you didn't believe us yesterday that Iowa farmer and Bachelorette third-place finisher Chris Soules is The Bachelor, this photo ought to do the job.

Chris Soules and Cody Sattler

The telling picture on Chris' Instagram page shows the Soules Man with Bachelorette buddy Cody Sattler rocking shirts exclaiming "America Needs Farmers."

While clenching a rose in their teeth for good measure.

This after The Bachelor spoilers guru Reality Steve leaked the news, or at least that it was official (we've all strongly believed it was Chris for awhile).

Hard to see this as anything but a subtle confirmation that he's more than ready to dole out the roses to 25 lucky ladies come January on ABC.

That or he and Cody are just really passionate about agriculture and its role in American life. Which is entirely plausible, but still. This is your Bachelor.

With Chris Soules confirmed as The Bachelor, we can officially start pondering where he ranks among the men who have doled out the roses on the ABC staple.

While we won't get to judge the whole package until next March, when his season concludes (Juan Pablo sounded good in theory), we can weigh in on this:

Is he the hottest of the hot guys to headline the series?!

Chris Soules
Chris Soules is The Bachelor for ABC's 2015 season of the hit reality show. Good choice?

The 32-year-old from Arlington, Iowa, was one of the final three men standing on the just-wrapped season of The Bachelorette that starred Andi Dorfman.

Making it that far spoke volumes about Chris Soules, a rugged yet intelligent, sensitive man's man, a family-oriented farmer who cleans up awfully nice.

Bachelor Nation was vocal about wanting him to take over the franchise, and according to The Bachelor spoilers king Reality Steve, he will do so.

The cat is out of the bag. Or in this case, the barn? Farmer Chris Soules will star as The Bachelor for the 2015 season, sources close to the production say.

ABC tried to keep this close to the vest, even implying that other guys were in the running for the job (how seriously they were considered is anyone's guess).

Enter Reality Steve, though, and everything changes. The man who put The Bachelor spoilers on the map has blown the lid off yet another secret.

Chris Soules is The Bachelor 2015
Chris Soules is The Bachelor 2015. Here he is, leaving no doubts about it.

According to Steve, who has giant cojones and doesn't hide his scoop for one second, Soules has already signed a contract and is has begun filming.

While he's been wrong before on several noteworthy occasions, most of the time he is anything but. In fact, Steve's track record is the stuff of legends.

Especially considering that ABC simply cannot foil him, shut him down or figure out how the heck he gets his intel, this feat is all the more impressive.

So despite the subterfuge and rumors that Nick Viall, Arie Luyendyk, Jr., or possibly even Marquel Martin would get the nod, it was Chris' from the start.

If you were hoping to find out who is the next Bachelor at the end of The Bachelorette last night, you came away disappointed, as the torch was not passed.

In past seasons, The Bachelor or The Bachelorette season finale has also featured this big reveal on After the Final Rose. Not this time, for reasons unknown.

And the Winner is?

Chris Soules or Arie Luyendyk, Jr.: Who should be The Bachelor when the show returns in 2015? Cast your votes! View Poll »

Chris Soules, the sweet farmer from Iowa who finished third this season, attended the taping of After the Final Rose, leaving us to believe he's the guy.

He may well be, though it was announced a new Bachelor wouldn't be revealed Monday, Soules blushed and laughed nervously when the topic came up.

Fans (and fellow Bachelorette stars) also began chanting his name at one point, so it seems safe to assume he'd be a popular choice if he got the nod.

That's not a guarantee, though.

Insiders confirm that another former Bachelorette contestant, Emily Maynard's runner-up Arie Luyendyk, Jr. from the 2012 season, is in the running, too.

It's Men Tell All week on The Bachelorette and Andi Dorfman is ready to face the music in front of some of the guys who did not make it to the final two.

If you're looking for real scoop, this episode was likely disappointing.

In fact, if you want The Bachelorette spoilers or hints on how the finale plays out, some recent videos we've posted are likely much more noteworthy.

You don't have to believe us or shady Internet sources; Nick Viall talking about the finale in his own words on the plane ride home has done the job for us.

As far as the Men Tell All special is concerned, it featured nothing even close to that good, but there were some water cooler moments amidst the filler.

As always, you can watch The Bachelorette online at TV Fanatic to see it in full.

Now, without further ado, on to THG's The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All recap!

This season, in addition to re-watching and re-hashing footage of Chris Soules, Marquel Martin and Marcus Grodd being dumped, MTA had some wrinkles.

Like, oh, a live ultrasound finding out the sex of Ashley Hebert's unborn child. Because obviously that was a thing that happened Monday night.

Season 10 of The Bachelorette is headed down the home stretch, with just two episodes (one of them being the Men Tell All special) to go this summer.

Obviously, the two big questions on every viewer's mind are:

  1. Will Andi Dorfman pick Nick Viall or Josh Murray?
  2. Who will be The Bachelor come January 2015?
Soules Man

The Bachelorette spoilers have shed light on the first topic, perhaps more so than in any previous season, given the video footage that surfaced.

If you haven't seen Nick Viall talk about the finale on the plane ride back from the Dominican, that will tell you how it went ... one way or the other.

As for who will dole out the roses next season, it was widely believed to be Chris Soules' gig if he wanted it, but now we're not quite so sure.

Andi Dorfman knows better than anyone how key the Fantasy Suite is on The Bachelor/Bachelorette, and that's why she let Chris Soules go when she did.

"I think it's a big deal to take someone in an overnight, whether or not you do anything," Andi said of this week's surprising elimination of the Iowa farmer.

Chris Soules, Andi Dorfman

"Just the act of, like, spending the night with someone should mean something, and I think you should feel like you have a future with somebody."

"If you're willing to spend the night with them ... as soon as I realized that there wasn't that future with Chris, I think that was the appropriate time to go."

On Monday's episode, Andi took three men with her to the Dominican Republic, but only Josh Murray and Nick Viall made it into the Fantasy Suite.

Chris Soules left with a broken heart during dinner, although he may have gotten dumped into The Bachelor, as former star Sean Lowe put it.

Andi does not have any regrets, except for hurting Chris' feelings:
