The Bachelorette's Desiree Hartsock may have pined for Brooks Forester once, but she has more positive things to say about her new fiance, Chris Siegfried.

That's putting it mildly.

Asked what she loves about Chris, she said, "Everything. I mean, honestly. [He's] supportive, manly, romantic. I really think he's an overall well-rounded person."

"He's so good at everything. Really. I can't think of one bad thing to say about him."

It was a turbulent season marked by surprising exits, shady characters and botched spoilers, but The Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock is now engaged.

And she couldn't be happier about her final rose recipient, Chris Siegfried.

"I truly believe things happen for a reason," she says. "I have no regrets."

The duo had an interesting approach for dealing with the season as it aired.

Not wanting to reopen old wounds, Chris Siegfried revealed in an interview this week that he did not watch any of The Bachelorette scenes that he wasn't in.

He hasn't even seen her epic Brooks Forester breakup, in other words.

Desiree Hartsock cannot stop gushing about Chris Siegfried.

Monday night, on the ninth season finale of The Bachelorette, he put a ring on it and erased any notion that she was still hung up on Brooks Forester.

While it shocked Reality Steve and anyone who read The Bachelorette spoilers or paid any attention to the whole season, there was no doubt in her mind.

"I was given a rare and beautiful opportunity to find true and lasting love - and I found it with Chris," she reflects. "The moments we shared will last a lifetime."

"To have Chris meet my family was one of the happiest days of my life. I didn't just introduce my family to Chris - I introduced them to the man of my dreams."

"The proposal from Chris was one of the defining moments of my life."

Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried got engaged on last night's Bachelorette season finale, to the surprise of nearly every fan of the ABC reality hit.

Regardless of whether you read Bachelorette spoilers or not, it was hard to see Desiree bouncing back from her breakup with Brooks Forester. At all.

But she did, and said that her feelings for Brooks blinded her to the fact that Mr. Right was right in front of her all this time. And he is Chris Siegfried.

Brooks left Des so shell-shocked that a proposal from Chris or Drew Kenney seemed extremely unlikely. If anything, many predicted a Brooks return.

Didn't happen.

Drew was sent home rather abruptly, but Des felt something different with Chris, and gradually she came around to the idea of marrying him, too.

Will it happen? Can a man seen by many as her second choice truly become her first - for life? Share your predictions in the comments and vote below:

The Bachelorette season finale is upon us at last, THGers.

As advertised all summer, the tail end of the season has been like no other before it, with three finalists still in the running and so many questions unanswered.

Will Brooks Forester be back? Will Desiree Hartsock take him back? Will she leave single and crushed, or was last week's cliffhanger just clever editing?

If you don't want to wait, you can always check out The Bachelorette spoilers on THG, but either way, we think you'll want to stick around for this.

Check out our LIVE recap of the season finale below!

Bachelorette Final 2/3

We're still in Antigua with Desiree casually hanging out on a porch overlooking exotic waters. She's heartbroken over Brooks' shocking revelation last week.

She sits down with Chris Harrison for a chat and immediately begins to cry. Her lips are really glossy though?

Thought #1: Would they really give us two hours of Des crying into a microphone? Thought #2: Would people buy that if they made it an album?

Chris seems to suggest that Des should pick either Chris or Drew since she can't have Brooks. Minus 25. She sees positives to both of them.

Her heart is broken but her spirit isn't, so she's going to go ahead and spend time with the remaining two bachelors. Just in case. Maybe.

Chris tells her she's being brave. She doesn't have a clue what to do.

For The Bachelorette star Desiree Hartsock, it all comes down to this.

A season full of turmoil comes to a conclusion tonight on ABC, with so much still up in the air. Will Brooks be back? Will Des leave single and heartbroken?

Will Chris and Drew find out about last week? Do they have any shot?

Here's a look at what The Bachelorette spoilers indicate about this evening's finale, why they could be wrong, and why they're probably not wrong ...

First, a brief rundown on last week's drama: After two fabulous dates with Chris and Drew, Brooks CRUSHED Des with the revelation that he's not ready.

Awkwardness and tears ensued like never before on this show.

Which is certainly saying something. As is the fact that, unheard of in The Bachelorette universe, there was no rose ceremony, no elimination ... nothing.

All three finalists are still technically in the mix ... or are they?

Tonight's the night! Errr, sort of.

Previews have shown all three remaining men, and Des herself, in tears, with The Bachelorette spoilers promising a shocking ending!

Just which of these eligible bachelors will Desiree Hartsock choose as her quest for love reaches part one of a "shocking" season-ender?

Let's find out in THG's +/- recap!

Des said "fairy tale." Minus 4. Recap of the entire season after we just recapped the entire season last week during the Men Tell All episode. Minus 10.

More of Chris' awful poetry. Minus 2. More of Drew who, let's be clear, doesn't exactly scream straight male in this "for all the right reasons." Minus 5.

And then there's Brooks. Desiree's feelings for him are "set apart" from her feelings for the other guys. Everything about this opening says that she chooses him. Everything.

Except the fact that he's apparently unsure of the fact that he's expected to propose to her at the end of this. So that's not good. (Or it's smart and very good because it means he's serious? Who knows.)

The web has been abuzz with The Bachelorette spoilers this month, as fans Desiree Hartsock prepares for what could be a rocky lead-up to the finale.

Desiree Hartsock as The Bachelorette Photo

While in the past, The Bachelor or The Bachelorette spoilers have centered around which suitor the star would pick, this year looks a bit different.

Heading into the August 5 season-ender, most of the uncertainty surrounding Desiree Hartsock relates to whether she ends up engaged or heartbroken.

Brooks Forester has been the favorite all season long, both among those offering spoilers and on screen. Des has even admitted she's in love.

So what's the big twist keeping this from being a foregone conclusion?

Desiree Hartsock is closing in on get her fairy-tale ending, and according to The Bachelorette spoilers we've read, the season finale may not surprise viewers.

Or will it?

Desiree is in fact engaged, some reports indicate, and given that she's already sharing that she's in love with Brooks Forester, he seems like the obvious pick.

There's something unusual about the editing approach this season, however, beginning with her openness about that fact, and the overall scheduling.

The Men Tell All special airs next week, a week earlier than normal, essentially setting up a two-part finale after that with three guys still remaining.

The Bachelorette final three are set and off to the overnight dates after the somewhat surprising elimination of Zak Waddell on Monday's episode.

So who's it gonna be?

If you've read The Bachelorette spoilers at all this season, you know she's been really into one guy from the onset. Did last night change any of that?

Brooks Forester is the man Des said she was in love with prior to the hometown dates, but Chris Siegfried and Drew Kenney both helped their chances.

Enough to pull an upset over Brooks? That's the million-dollar question.
