Chris Brown has released a remixed, freestyle rap version of Kanye West's "Theraflu" that appears to contain a major swipe at ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The R&B singer, who collaborated with Rih earlier this year, raps, "Don't f--k wit my old bitches ... like a bad fur ... every industry n!gga done had her."

"Trick or treat like a pumpkin ... just to smash her."

Are we reading too much into it? Listen and see:

Hours after Brown released the track, Rihanna stopped following Brown on Twitter, a move fueling peculation that the above lyrics are about her.

A short time later, Brown unfollowed Rihanna.

The two have been rumored to be hitting it for some time, despite his assault on her in 2009 ... but he's also been dating Karrueche Tran.

So, yeah. That about sums it up. What do you think? Is Chris dissing his ex? Should she never talk to him again? Does anyone care? Comment below!

Whether he's hijacking phones, posing for pics taken by Karrueche Tran, teaming up with Rihanna or collaborating with Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown is everywhere.

A new track from Minaj's highly-anticipated album, Pink Friday: Roman Uploaded, has leaked, featuring Brown on backing vocals. It's called "Right By My Side."

Minaj sings in the chorus, "I'm not living life / If you're not right by my side."

She also raps over the bridge in typical fashion, "Man the sh!t that we be fighting over irrelevant/But I don't remember though, I probably hella bent."

The track drops following the "Starships" singer's release of her 19-track album listing featuring Lil Wayne, Drake, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Brown.

“Right By My Side” is Nicki's third single from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, following “Starships” and "Stupid Hoe." What do you think of the effort?

When Rihanna tapped her abusive ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, to join her on a sexually explicit remix of "Birthday Cake" last month, the music world was shocked.

Chatting with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, she spoke about the reasons behind that remix and their other collaboration (on Brown's "Turn Up the Music").

"I reached out to him about doing 'Birthday Cake' because [he was] the only person that really made sense to do the record, just as a musician," Rih said.

"Despite everything else, that was gonna be the person."

"You know, I thought about rappers, [but] the hottest R&B artist right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track," she explained matter-of-factly.

In turn, she agreed to guest on his own remix, she said:

"It was a tradeoff. Two records - one for my fans, one for his fans. That way, our fans could come together. There shouldn't be a divide. It's music and it's innocent."

Brown violently assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009, but the two have rekindled at least a friendship since that point, with rumors of more.

He attended her birthday party last month, and there's been talk of the pair secretly hooking up despite his ongoing relationship with girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Chris Brown and Rihanna raised more than a few eyebrows this week with their remixes of her hit "Birthday Cake" and his "Turn Up the Music" this week.

Those two surprise collaborations have been followed by rumors that the singers may soon be collaborating in other ways, if you know what we mean.

We mean sexually.

If you're wondering who put the reunion in motion (musically, that is), The-Dream, who produced the "Birthday Cake" remix, would know: Rihanna.

"It was Rih's idea," he tells Billboard. "[Rihanna] is a friend of mine."

"It's like, 'You wanna do something? Then cool, let's do it.' I don't know how she got the logistics, how it happened; maybe she'll talk about it one day."

"I showed up at the studio, and it was like, 'All right, cool, let's finish this record,' which we probably should have finished the first time we did it."

According to The-Dream, he approached the project solely on its musical merits and ditched any of the controversial baggage that may come with it.

"For me, it's just music: two talented people doing two records together, that's what it was," he says. "It wasn't about an incident that happened."

He does acknowledge that the remixes' controversy, however ...

Rihanna and Chris Brown collaborated on a pair of remixes recently, a surprising move considering all that transpired between the former lovebirds.

The 2009 Grammys marked the beginning of a domestic violence drama that revealed a darker side to Chris' relationship at the time with Rihanna.

But nearly three years to the day he beat her senseless, Brown, 22, and Rihanna, 24, are again spending time together - musically and personally.

The former couple, whose friendly behavior is no secret on Twitter and in person, hit the studio last week to record parts on each other's songs.

The remix of Rihanna's single "Birthday Cake," featuring Chris Brown, lacks no shortage of sex appeal – not to mention some very NSFW lyrics.

"Girl, I wanna f--k you right now," sings Brown, whose return to the Grammys sparked controversy. "Been a long time/Been missing your body."

While Rih doesn't get as down and dirty with explicit lyrics on Brown's remix of "Turn up the Music," she suggests a rather revealing message.

"I love you, baby," she sings.

Rihanna clearly does not care about any public response to her being with Chris again, but singing with him and dating him are different things.

So far, there's no indication that they're back together, despite the rumors of them hooking up numerous times. But it makes you wonder.

What do you think of their remixes - and the fact that Rihanna and Chris Brown are collaborating with each other in general?

Looks like the rumors were true ... well, at least one of them was.

The alleged collaboration of Rihanna and Chris Brown on a remixed version of her single "Birthday Cake" is very much the real deal, as the former couple tweeted it out on Monday evening ... which was Rihanna's 24th birthday, fittingly.

Take a listen to their tag-team effort below:

"@rihanna goo.gl/ttRJR YIKES!!! Cake, cake, cake!" Brown tweeted with a link to Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" remix, which features his new, suggestive lyrics.

Shortly after Rihanna responded with, "#RihannaNavy Come and put ya name on it!!!!! RT @chrisbrown: @rihanna goo.gl/ttRJR YIKES!!! Cake, cake, cake!"

So ... there's that. She then linked to a second collaboration between the two, a remixed version of his "Turn Up the Music." Take a listen to that after the jump:

Miranda Lambert was an outspoken critic of last Sunday's Chris Brown Grammy lovefest, ripping CBS and the music extravaganza for Brown's prominent role.

She's still not over it, calling out the R&B star in concert this week.

Country star Lambert wondered aloud on Twitter why the convicted felon was featured on not one but two performances during the Grammy Awards.

"Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl," Miranda tweeted, adding "He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place."

"Gunpowder and Lead" is her song about a woman preparing to kill her abusive husband. She performed it in concert Thursday - with a message for Brown.

Before singing, Lambert pulled a poster out of the audience reading "Take Notes Chris Brown." "Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter," she said.

"I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans ... but see, I have to speak my mind because where I come from beating up on a woman is never okay.”

As she sang, Lambert added "So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun." The Amherst, Mass., crowd went wild:

Brown has come under heavy criticism for his response to the "haters" as much as for the infamous 2009 incident in what has become a never-ending story.

Should people just get over it and move on? Or is Miranda right in standing up against abusive men, and the Grammys? Choose a side in this feud:
