Chris Brown will not face criminal charges after as a Los Angeles judge officially dismissed a hit-and-run case stemming from a car accident in May.
Shortly after the much-needed victory, he Tweeted, "Thank God!!!"
The decision came despite the city prosecutor claiming he should be punished - and severely, at that - for the car accident in Toluca Lake, California.
The judge told the court that Brown had reached a civil compromise with the other driver, a woman whose Mercedes he hit with his Range Rover.
His aggressive behavior, providing of inaccurate insurance info, and probationary status made the incident more serious, prosecutors told the court.
