We've love to give Chris Brown the benefit of the doubt, but to the extent that you can interpret one Tweet, he simply doesn't come across as sincere.

In his "apology" for dropping a gay slur at a bunch of photographers yesterday, the singer writes that he has "total respect for [the] Gay community."

Really, Chris? Do you now?

BROWN TWEET APOLOGYChris ranted, "Y'all n**gas is weak. You all call them to try and film me? Y'ALL N**GAS IS GAY!" Yeah. Pretty sure that was intended to insult people.

There's also no apology here. If he has "total respect" he would at least acknowledge what he did with more than this half-assed dismissal.

He used "gay" as an insult, end of discussion. Is this some huge deal? Does this make him a bad person? Certainly not. But he's not going to win much respect or sympathy with frequent blowups and non-apologies like this.

Sorry, Chris. That's just some #REALSH!T for you.

Your thoughts? Should he apologize for real?

Chris Brown sweet-talked his way out of a parking ticket yesterday ... but the way he talked to cameramen may have been anything but.

It's not clear from the video below if it was Chris or his bodyguard who said it, but according to TMZ, Brown accused several cameramen of alerting some parking enforcement personnel that his car was illegally parked, ranting:

"Y'all n**gas is weak. You all call them to try and film me? Y'ALL N**GAS IS GAY!"

Did Brown utter that quote? Again, it's hard to tell from the clip above. But if he did, he can expect calls for him to apologize pretty fast.

For what it's worth, in December, C-Breezy got into a Twitter feud with Raz B and made several homophobic comments in the process.

On an unrelated note, he did not get a ticket at least.

Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory" video release just got some big-name company.

In what may become one of the most-played songs of 2011 and a major image boost for Chris Brown, he's teamed up with Justin Bieber on “Next 2 You.”

The mid-tempo track will no doubt be exploding online and on pop radio for months. Check out Chris and JB's official music video right here, right now ...

“One day when the sky is falling/ I’ll be standing right next to you/ Nothing will ever come between us/ ’cause I’ll be standing right next to you,” they sing.

The music video certainly puts these words to the test.

In it, the world is ending, tearing the guys from their ladies (who we first saw in the rough cut). It's an epic production from two pop music megastars.

What do you think of the track?

The name Chris Brown evokes both admiration and intense scrutiny.

The singer has received ample amounts of both from fans and critics over the past few years, but in spite (or because) of that, his new album F.A.M.E. has been a success, producing chart-topping hits and rejuvenating his career.

The Source featured C-Breezy on the cover of its July issue ...

Chris Brown: The Source Cover

In the magazine, Brown opens up about his return to the top of the charts, what it is like being Chris Brown the superstar and his progression as an artist.

Brown, who's been collaborating with Justin Bieber on their "Next 2 U" music video, says that the toughest part of his transition is being ... who he is.

"The hardest thing about Chris Brown is understanding you’re “Chris Brown," he says. "I just noticed the value of my brand, and who I am as a person now."

Not entirely clear on what he means, but sounds positive!

Justin Bieber and Chris Brown have been teasing their music video for “Next 2 U” like madmen. But here we have the greatest tease of all:

An uncut, unedited version of their collaboration!

Directed by Colin Tilley, the video begins with some acting scenes for both Justin and Chris, followed by an apocalyptic explosion of sorts.

The two then show off their dance moves and compete to get “next 2” to their love interests. So who wins out? Who do you freaking think?

Sorry, CB. It's the Bieb's world. The rest of us just live in it:

Chris Brown got up in the face of another woman this weekend.

But he fortunately used his crotch instead of his fists.

The singer performed "Take You Down" at Miami’s Spring Fest: Best Of The Best concert, ripping off his shirt in the process and calling an audience member on stage for a lap dance.

Watch the video now and decide: is this female laughing out of pleasure, or to hide the utter fear she's feeling inside at being this close to Brown?

For Demi Lovato's sake, let's really hope this wasn't a double date...

Multiple witnesses tell Hollywood Life that Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Chris Brown and a few others were spotted together last week at a midnight showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in Sherman Oaks.

Justin, Selena, Chris and Demi: Friends forever?

“Everyone in the theater couldn’t believe they were all here together," said a source. "They were all jumping up and down around each other like kids. Selena and Demi were especially affectionate with each other. They all looked really to be hanging out together. If you didn’t recognize them you’d think they were a bunch of regular high schoolers."

Bieber and Brown have grown tight ever since teaming up for "Next 2 U." They released photos of each other from that song's music video shoot a couple days ago.

The insiders all confirm that the group left before the end of the movie. Justin and Selena eventually jetted off to Maui, and let's just pray Chris and Demi went their separate ways after the evening ended.

Justin Bieber and Chris Brown aren't just collaborating on a music video.

According to director Colin Tilley, they are collaborating on a music video that is "gonna be big." And now we've got your first look at it.

The artists have Tweeted two photos of themselves on the set of "Next 2 U," with Brown writing “Judgement day!! Lol" and Bieber adding: “#Next2You #EPIC."

These pictures likely won't land Brown in any trouble, unlike another Twitter-based news item regarding the singer. Turns out, he and Rihanna are following each other on their accounts.

We didn't see that coming!

Chris Brown is totally following Rihanna on Twitter! And vice versa! Let's hear it for letting bygones be bygones and patching things up via social media!

According to an impromptu investigation, both are not only following each other, but added each other very recently. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?!?!?

Rihanna in the Middle

Asked by a fan why she would follow Brown and if this meant something significant, Rihanna Tweeted back, "its fu**in twitter, not the alter! calm down."

LIKE OLD TIMES? Okay, maybe not quite.

A judge recently lifted the restraining order prohibiting them from having contact. It had been in place since he beat her up more than two years prior.

Rihanna basically said at the time that she was doing him a favor - no restraining order makes it easier for him to attend award shows and the like.

Just the same, she clarified that they have no relationship. If nothing else, following each other's Tweets implies some kind of relationship. Right?

They've teamed up for a duet and taken the stage together in Australia.

But fans have not seen the last of the unexpected tandem of Justin Bieber and Chris Brown: the pair will star together in a music video for their track "Next 2 U."

  • Intense Bieber
  • A Happy Chris Brown

"I can't tell you anything about that yet, but it's going to happen," director Colin Tilley told MTV of the shoot. "It's gonna be big. It's gonna be big. I can't say anything else."
