In the photo, Rihanna appears to be punishing her alarmed, hapless lover, strangling him as the wall in the background boasts the word Revenge splattered in blood.
Comedian Jenny Johnson is opening up about the vulgar Chris Brown Twitter feud she started last weekend ... but let's be clear here, this is NOT an apology.
"I just want to clear some things up," Johnson wrote in a post for GQ.
"This is not an apology. My first thought following my Twitter exchange with Chris Brown this past Sunday was to just ignore it until it went away."
"The Twitter exchange I'm referencing would be the one in which he tweeted thathe looked old for 23, and I replied with a not-so-kind comment."
"From there we discussed farts, spelling, past events, bushpigs, and the part of my eye which he wanted to go number two on. It ended with him deactivating his Twitter account."
Chris Brown just caught a huge break, as prosecutors FINALLY decided they will not charge the singer for stealing some girl's phone earlier this year.
A police report was filed against Brown in February for "robbery by sudden snatching" after he allegedly grabbed a fellow club-goer's iPhone in Miami.
"Bitch, you ain't going to put that on no website," he told her in classic, eloquent Chris fashion.
But after a thorough investigation, the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office "determined we are not taking any type of criminal action," according to TMZ.
Rihanna gave Chris Brown a big ol' hug in a new photo on Instagram, making sure we all know she's standing by her man in the face of his latest dirty deeds.
"i dont wanna leave!!! Killed it tonight baby!!!" she wrote alongside the (cute?) photo of her giving her former and apparently current boyfriend a warm embrace.
You can't see his face, we realize, but like the previous pic she Tweeted of Chris Brown shirtless in bed, the tattoos say it all. Besides ... Rih's not one to lie.

Chris Brown fans are likely the Twitter world's craziest, as they proved once again this week with a barrage of insults and death threats directed at Jenny Johnson.
Why is that? Simply put, because they're Chris Brown fans.
If you need a refresher: Johnson, a comedian and frequent Chris critic, got his attention over the weekend by labeling him a miserable piece of $h!t.
She received a vile Chris Brown Twitter rant in response, after which he peaced out of Twitter and Team Breezy began calling for Johnson's murder.
So why do Chris Brown fans act so absolutely insane on Twitter?
Elisabeth Hasselbeck of The View had some harsh words for Chris Brown's vulgar Twitter rant against Jenny Johnson, likening his comments to "verbal rape."
"I think it's disgusting, first of all," she said. "But also, it seems like verbal rape to me."
"And I think at some point there's gotta be a point where Twitter should ban anyone who writes anything forever on there and you should identify yourself."
Co-hosts Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg, while acknowledging that Brown's comments were extreme, emphasized that Jenny Johnson was also to blame.

In Brown's final tweets, he reassured his fans that he'll be okay.

News producer turned comedy writer Jenny Johnson makes fun of Chris Brown on Twitter a lot ... and earned a vulgar, sexist response from the singer.
Johnson has had a field day with Brown for years, but it wasn't until she tweeted a response to one of his musings Sunday that she got his attention.
Chris wrote, "I look old as fuck! I'm only 23..." Johnson re-tweeted that with the comment: "I know! Being a worthless piece of sh!t can really age a person."
