The Warlock is now one year older.

Charlie Sheen celebrates a birthday today, turning 48 as part of what has been a relatively quiet year for one of Hollywood's most outspoken bad boys.

Yes, Sheen is once again residing with Capri Anderson. And, granted, he continues to battle over custody with Brooke Mueller, but his ex-wife's drug problems are actually making Sheen look sane these days.

Which isn't much fun for the rest of us.

Charlie Sheen Up Close

Sheen played a role in Scary Movie 5 and continues to churn out episodes of Anger Management on FX, although future installments won't feature the fired Selma Blair. She dared to diss the actor and likely won't be sending him any presents any time soon.

But go right ahead and send in those birthday best wishes to Sheen if you so desire. We won't judge.

Charlie Sheen celebrates his 47th birthday today, though the actor really got his gift on August 29.

That's when FX made the unprecedented decision to pick up Sheen's Anger Management sitcom for 90 more episodes, ensuring it goes into syndication and likely earning the actor another $100 million or so.

Perhaps we should all beat up women and take a lot of drugs.

Charlie Sheen at the Mic

Sheen, of course, has recently said he was never actually "winning" and has referred to his ridiculous episodes in early 2011 as a "psychotic break." That's a start toward some kind of redemption, we suppose.

Send Charlie a few birthday wishes if you'd like and also consider the following celebrities who turn a year older today: Shawn White (26), Garrett Hedlund (28), Nick Wechsler (34) and Dave Ramsey (52).

Charlie Sheen turns 46 years old today. Feel free to send the actor birthday wishes if you so desire.

The troubled star has actually been relatively quiet over the past few months. He hasn't dished out any warlock wisdom since his tour of North America bombed this spring.

Instead, Sheen has actually been trying to make amends. Things have never been better between Charlie and ex-wife Brooke Mueller, as they actually jetted off to Mexico last month, and he's reportedly booked a return to the small screen via Anger Management.

It's been quite the journey with Charlie over the past years. Relive it below via a photo montage.

Little Bob and Max Sheen turned two over the weekend and received the best birthday gift of all: a party that did not include their mentally unbalanced father.

The twins were feted at a backyard shindig hosted by Kathy Hilton and attended by such guests as Nicky Hilton, David Katzenberg and Adrienne Maloof. Brooke Mueller was especially relaxed at the event, a witness says.

Bob and Brooke

"Brooke seemed to have a good time... she seemed focused on her kids and nothing else," an onlooker told Us Weekly. "There was a lot of security outside at all times to make sure no uninvited guests got in. There was no sign of Charlie at the party."

As for the twins, who are at the center of Brooke's battle with her ex, and also of her upcoming reality show, which co-stars Kathy Hilton's daughter, Paris? They didn't seem fazed by the awful adults around them.

Charlie Sheen turns 45 years old today.

Sadly, that number does not also reflect the number of days this actor was forced to spend behind bars for his December 2009 confrontation with wife Brooke Mueller.

Despite numerous reports that said Sheen held a knife to Mueller's throat and threw her around like a rag doll, Sheen got off with a month in rehab... and a raise from CBS to remain a member of the Two and a Half Men cast!

Therefore, instead of asking readers to send in their birthday wishes, let's change it up: submit your best Sheen insult to THG today and don't hold back. Really let this loser have it!
