Channing Tatum has thrown his well-chiseled abs and buns of steel hat into the Fifty Shades of Grey ring.

Sort of.

Asked during a Glamour-sponsored Twitter Q&A with fans this week about the main role of Christian Grey in that upcoming big screen adaption, the Magic Mike star simply said YES, he'd be open to the role...

... but he added a caveat:

"I'd only be allowed if my wife was Ana. She’s read the books so I don’t think she’d be impressed if she couldn’t be Ana!”

Tatum is married to actress Jenna Dewan. But she might need to get in line behind Emma Watson, who is reportedly a leading candidate for the character of Anastasia Steele.

Other actors that have expressed interest in portraying Christian include Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling, and Alexander Skarsgard.

Mike is not done working his magic by a long shot.

With the web buzzing over a possible Magic Mike 2, the hit film's star Channing Tatum took to Twitter this week to address the rumors ... and confirmed them!

“Yes yes and yes! We’re working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger," he writes, possibly waiting for your obvious punchline.

Because it's ostensibly a male stripper movie, Magic Mike was something of a surprise hit with critics and fans alike, banking $39 million in one weekend.

Tatum has received rave reviews, and there's even been some Oscar talk - and not unwarranted - surrounding supporting actor Matthew McConaughey.

On June 29, Magic Mike will hit theaters. It's a film based on the past of one of its stars, Channing Tatum, who stripped for a living before striking it big in Hollywood. Yes, it's filled with hot men taking off their clothes.

Inside the magazine, the actors opens up about two important stories from his life:

1. His diagnosis of depression.
2. The time he burned his penis.

On depression: “The longer I took Dexedrine, the worse I felt. It sucked all the personality from me. I’d get depressed. I would think suicidal – I was never personally suicidal, but I could see how some kids were, how they’d be, like, I can’t take this anymore.”

On burning his penis: “It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life... I’ve been to the hospital, gotten stitches, had broken fingers and toes. But this was a suffocating kind of pain... Now my penis is fantastic! One hundred percent recovered. Put me back in the game, Coach.”

Based on the following photo spread, many women would probably love to take it to the hole, fire it into their strike zone or run an end around... if you know what we mean!

The ladies may have been be disappointed to see Channing Tatum married over the weekend to his longtime sweetheart and former Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan tied the knot yesterday in Malibu, Calif.

The two stars said "I do" in a 15-minute ceremony on the grounds of Church Estates Vineyards, the same venue where Fergie and Josh Duhamel wed.

More than 200 guests attended the nuptials. A source tells Us Dewan's maid of honor was Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui. Also in the bridal party? Tatum's sister Paige and Haylie Duff, accompanied by the groom's pal Nick Zano.

The bridesmaids all wore light pink dresses.

Beneath a white altar covered in roses, Jenna Dewan wore a white strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and a long veil. Tatum wore your basic black suit.

When it was time for their first kiss as husband and wife, the G.I. Joe star bent Dewan back and kissed her over his knee to cheers from the approving crowd.

Jenna Dewan, 28, and Channing Tatum, 29, met on the set of their 2006 flick, Step Up. They got engaged last September. Congrats to the newlyweds!
