Casey Carlson received a golden ticket to Hollywood after her American Idol audition.
This Minneapolis native impressed judges on the show's eighth season. She's 20 years old, refers to herself as a "bubble tea maker" when asked her profession and sang “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton during her audition in Kansas City.
Carlson made the semifinal round of 36 on the show. We're proud of her for the achievement.

She so cool! she pretty much looks like Mandy Moore to me and she's sooooooo cute and she sings so great! i already love her! i really hope she's the next american idol! Casey comes from a large extended family that has always valued education, putting others first, and pursuing dreams, whether they are music, visual arts, technology or business. She's tough, but nice; little but mighty; intelligent, but not pretentious; and she can make a mean campfire. Never under estimate her!

The singing wasnt that great her hair looks wiggy. I also went to school with her. She cheated on her boyfriend in 2007 and she is a MEAN girl! Fake boobs, fake personality.

To "CaseyWatch": you are correct that her family valued education, but she still did not treat others very nicely. It is sad, but true. Anyone that has to say that they are "unique" is not unique, but usually a fake.
