In terms of natural beauty, talent and personality, few celebrities can compare to the lovely Carrie Underwood in our minds. It's only natural, then, that of all the celebrity birthdays out there, this is one we're pretty excited about.

Our favorite American Idol turns 26 today. Happy birthday, Carrie!

We got go on for many paragraphs about Underwood, but our feelings can also be summed up this succinctly: we have no clue what Tony Romo was thinking.

Although she's kept quiet since first being romantically linked with Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher last month, Carrie Underwood publicly cheered for her boyfriend when his team took on her hometown Nashville Predators Monday.

Sitting in a private box in Nashville's Sommet Center, Underwood gripped the edge of her seat as he scored an assist and grimaced as Fisher was checked hard.

At one point, Fisher appeared to look up in her direction and the singer smiled back at him. Ah, to be young, in love and dating a professional hockey player.

It wasn't all fun and games, though. The 25-year-old American Idol champ was briefly shown on the scoreboard for the entire arena to see, and after noticing the cameras were on her, she quickly (and hilariously) tried to take cover ...

Carrie Underwood isn't known for being outspoken (just for being gorgeous and talented!).

But the former American Idol champion can't hold her tongue when it comes to a certain television show and a former Idol contestant.

First up: the show.

"I love House," Underwood said to E!. "You know, I'm not an actress, but I think I would like to do something for the fun of it. I usually find when people try to cross over from music to acting or acting to music that one of those two are not very good."

While we imagine Underwood as a scantily-clad patient-of-the-week on House, the singer also chimed in on Katrina "Bikini Girl" Darrell. What did Carrie think of her unorthodox way of auditioning for the new season of the series?

"I don't see why anybody would need to do that," Underwood said of Darrell's swimwear. "If you need to do that, then you're definitely not in the right business. If you're good, you could wear a potato sack and people would be OK with you."

Amen, sister!

Travis Stork who? According to Just Jared, Carrie Underwood reportedly has her eyes set on a hot new man - Canadian NHL player Mike Fisher.

The 25-year-old American Idol winner was spotted with her hair tied back at the Ottawa Senators-Toronto Maple Leafs game at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Saturday. Mike Fisher plays for Ottawa, which was defeated 3-1.

Carrie watched the game from the VIP box with Fisher’s family, including his younger brother Bud Fisher, who plays goalie in college for Quinnipiac.

Carrie Underwood was shown on the Jumbotron screen’s “Hug Cam” throughout the scintillating game as she hugged the two people sitting next to her.

“She looked like she was having a great time,” a source said. “They have been talking for a while, but when the romance with Dr. Travis Stork didn’t go anywhere, she decided to take some time for some hot hockey player action.”

While that may be the least believable quote in celebrity gossip history, we hope there's some truth to these rumors, because Mike's a good looking fella!

So many celebrities (and even Mischa Barton, for that matter) have embraced the headband, it seems like this is one celebrity fashion trend that's here to stay.

No kidding. We've been saying that for like years.

But Elle Magazine has apparently jumped on board this month, with Carrie Underwood on the cover of its "Objects of Desire" issue. Appropriate, for sure.

In the magazine, the former American Idol winner talks romances past (Tony Romo) and present (Travis Stork). More importantly, she looks amazing:

On the subject of Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback now dating Jessica Simpson, and who Carrie said still called her periodically, she says:

"It was just something that was said in passing. I haven't talked to him since, like, May. I would never say anything to hurt anybody or to stir up anything because I'm just not about drama – at all. I might be mad too if somebody said my boyfriend was calling some other girl. So I can definitely see where [she] would be coming from."

While Carrie Underwood has more recently been linked to Travis Stork, a former star of The Bachelor, the singer says she is not one to kiss and tell.

"If I say I am [dating someone] or I'm not, as soon as this magazine comes out, it might be the opposite of what I tell you now. In three months, it'll be 'Carrie said she's not dating anybody,' yet last night, I was out on the town with some guy. He's going to get mad at me. Everybody's going to think I'm a liar. It's just best not to go there."

American Idol winner / country crooner Carrie Underwood and former star of The Bachelor Travis Stork are still going strong, according to reports.

We're not sure if this is good news or bad. We have nothing against the Stork ... not more than we have against anyone who dates Carrie, that is.

So we guess it's okay. But you be better be good to Carrie Underwood, Travis, or we will be forced to end you. Consider yourself on notice, doc.

According to celebrity news magazine Life & Style, the reality TV couple were seen cozying up at Parc restaurant in Philadelphia on October 20.

“They came in around 8 p.m.,” an insider said. "Carrie, a vegetarian, began with the ravioli and the beet salad and then had an omelet for her entrée."

“They ordered a bottle of Malbec and two bottles of Evian water. There was definitely some hand-holding and petting. They even toasted with their wine.”

Ooh, toasting and petting! Get a room, you two!

Carrie Underwood and Travis Stork broke away from each other to join in on a celebration at a nearby table, though. That is, until something came up.

“There was another customer who was celebrating her birthday,” says the insider, “and Carrie joined in and sang ‘Happy Birthday!’”

Earlier this month, the handsome Travis was first linked romantically to Carrie and accompanied her during the recent leg of her Carnival Ride tour.

Carrie Underwood was in New York for the unveiling of her wax figure (see yesterday's edition of Real or Wax), but she also addressed another fake singer, Jessica Simpson, and her reported rift with her ex's new girlfriend.

Talking about the life-like replica of herself, Carrie Underwood said: "Honestly, it looks so good, it's kind of creepy looking at myself."

When asked by reporters about Jessica Simpson, who is dating Underwood's ex-boyfriend Tony Romo, the country star brushed off rumors of a feud.

"I met her once and she seemed really nice so I don't have a feud with anybody," said Underwood, who even praised Simpson's crossover to country music.

"I think it's great that country music just seems to be opening their arms to people that want to be a part of it," she said. "They let me in when they didn't have to and they're doing the same thing for a lot of other people."

The beautiful Carrie Underwood also spoke about her thoughts about ex-boyfriends and the role the celebrity gossip / news media plays in her relationships.

"I generally have been friends with ex-boyfriends. Sometimes the whole media thing adds, well not sometimes, every time it adds a little obstacle," said the American Idol winner. "Before all this, everybody I had ever dated I was friends with."
