We suppose that's actually a good thing - not to mention a pretty rare feat, and a huge compliment for a bona fide, All-American star.

But we think we could allow the American Idol and Grammy-winning singer to let her success and good looks go to her head a little bit.

Despite being the consensus #1 on The Hollywood Gossip Desirability Scale, Carrie Underwood has had some messy breakups in the past.

Idiots like Chace Crawford and Tony Romo (who, according to some celebrity gossip sources, is regretting this error) let her get away.

While she doesn't name names, she tells Cosmopolitan that, "Cheating is a deal breaker â€" If you cheat, you're gone." Amen, girl.

Just the same, the beautiful, blonde Oklahoma native doesn't believe in plotting revenge against her ex-boyfriends.

"Getting revenge on a guy is just not worth it to me," she says. "The best revenge I can think of is becoming famous."

You have to hand it to In Touch Weekly.

Citing a text message from J.R. Rotem, who clearly sent no such text, as evidence that Britney Spears is pregnant was the mag's finest hour.

This is a close second.

We'd love to know what "facts" the celebrity news magazine is using in its new cover story - that Tony Romo is betraying Jessica Simpson because he hasn't given up on his previous celebrity ex, Carrie Underwood!

Don't get us wrong, Tony Romo would get props from us if this were true.

After all, Carrie Underwood is the epitome of natural beauty - not to mention a down-home gal with a brain, a great voice, and a lack of insane parents.

But we're not buying it.

For one, Joe Simpson has Tony Romo under constant surveillance, making a secret rendezvous a logistical impossibility. Second, why would Carrie take him back, after he broke up with her to focus on football, then took up with Jessica?

Carrie Underwood led off for her team during the 2008 City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday.

The American Idol champion set the table for her Grand Ole Opry Live, drawing a walk in the first inning and proving that she has a great eye to go along with a beautiful smile, hair and body.

Unfortunately, Carrie's team lost 8-1. As you can see by the following images, though, this gorgeous singer still acted like a winner throughout. We adore her.

For the fourth consecutive year, Kenny Chesney won the coveted entertainer of the year award at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas last night.

"This one is really extra special because long before I had a hit record, the fans always came to the shows. And I want to thank you guys for voting and for being there for me," said Chesney when accepting his trophy.

Carrie Underwood took home the award for top female vocalist for the second consecutive year, while Brad Paisley won the same prize in the male category.

Fourth season American Idol champ Carrie Underwood is the May 2008 cover girl for InStyle Magazine, and needless to say, she looks great!

That goes for any sort of wardrobe choice she might make - and the star takes no issue with the fact that she prefers casual to glamorous.

"My personal style changes day to day," Carrie Underwood says. "But at the end of the day, I love sweatpants. I do enough glamming up for awards show and whatnot. So I can wear sweats whenever I want and it kind of evens itself out."

Carrie Underwood is a stylish (read: beautiful) young woman.

"I don't think about awards shows until the day they're there. I try not to stress about them too far in advance. That day, it's just all about looking pretty. So I can just sit back and let everyone do all the work."

Whatever you're doing, Carrie, keep doing it!

Carrie Underwood isn't crying a river over her split from Chace Crawford.

"We broke up over text, so it's like 'peace out,'" Underwood said at the taping of American Idol's special, Idol Gives Back, in Hollywood Sunday.

"It was completely mutual, we're both fine," she added, saying they "have not talked in a while, but I mean, I don't dislike him. It's no big deal."

Their relationship "just didn't work," Carrie Underwood said, "and we both knew it didn't work and [there are] no hard feelings at all whatsoever."

Dating in the public eye is "difficult ... because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are," she said.

The Gossip Girl star and the American Idol champ just weren't meant to be.

Their split, which was finalized via text message (how mature) was said to happen because of their conflicting schedules, sources have said.

"They couldn't spend time together," a source said. "It was hard."

Indeed. In other news, Chace's sister, Candice Crawford, will be competing for the title of Miss USA this spring! Woo! We hope she takes the title.
