Carrie Underwood says she is more comfortable in the spotlight these days than early in her career, and shows it on the June 2013 cover of Marie Claire.

In the June issue of the publication, the country star opens up about her struggles with fame, which were really bad after she won American Idol.

"I used to have panic attacks," she tells the magazine.

"People were touching me, screaming. It made me really nervous. In public, I just get nervous. It’s a physical reaction, feeling like the walls are closing in."

Carrie Underwood is Tweeting mad.

The former American Idol winner shared her feelings last week over a Tennessee bill approved by the House Agriculture Subcommittee that would require employees who shoot video of a farmer's livestock practices to turn over that unedited footage to authorities within 24 hours.

“Shame on TN lawmakers for passing the Ag Gag bill,” Underwood wrote. “If Gov. Bill Haslam signs this, he needs to expect me at his front door. Who's with me?”

The Academy of Country Music Awards were taken over by a pair of American Idol champions last night.

As previously posted, a very blonde Kelly Clarkson performed "Don't Rush" at the annual event, while twice-nominated Carrie Underwood also took to the CBS stage.

Surprisingly, Underwood did not win for either Female Vocalist of the Year or Album of the Year, but she didn't leave viewers disappointed. Come on... does she ever?!?

But she held it in and amazing us all with a version of "See You Again."

You may not believe this, but an anonymous source speaking to a supermarket tabloid apparently got it wrong:

There is no beef between Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.

Last week, Us Weekly claimed the latter is especially angry at the former, citing Underwood's joke on stage at the Country Music Association Awards about Swift's split from Conor Kennedy as a basis for the tension.

But Underwood speaks here to Gayle King of CBS and refutes this rumor as nonsense, even naming her favorite Taylor Swift music selection when promoted.

Carrie Underwood Denies Taylor Swift Feud

It's official: Carrie Underwood wins this year's Grammy Awards fashion prize.

Not for the outfit this superstar donned on the red carpet, but for the unique one she wore during her performance of "Blown Away" and " Two Black Cadillacs."

Serving as a projector screen, it actually flashes a variety of images during Carrie's time on stage.

"They can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days," Underwood said backstage. "We had a dress especially made. I said I should take it home and we can watch movies on it."

Underwood added that she had to stand in a specific spot in the Staples Center to make it all work because the invention "took a lot of precision."

Well worth it, we'd say, though, wouldn't you?
