Carrie does many of us who realize that the greater our standards and morals decline, the greater jeopardy this country is headed for. It is truly a sad state of affairs when there are degenerates that would call reasonable, intelligent people "unenlightened" when we are the only ones who seem to understand some simple concepts such as:
1) gay relationships are incapable of producing offspring; a third party of an opposite gender must intervene to make that possible; 2) Gay men have sex using a filthy body cavity which was designed by God for use as a waste elimination outlet; 3)Regardless of what one thinks they are, they still have a choice, no matter how wrong it might feel to them, who they share their bed with; 4) we need to put our foot down and protect the things that made this country great and stop allowing activities (like gay marriage) that weaken this nation and it's values

Carrie Prejean answered the question with honesty, dignity, tolerance and respect...a question designed to hurt her.
I have noticed that gay activists, like Perez Hilton, preach unlimited tolerance but consistently are the most intolerant, disrectful, manipulative and dishonest people who seem to love to take the low road. She totally outclassed him and continues to do so. What's really sad, is if Mr Hilton and his kind have their way, there will be an end to the free speech expression of any idea or thought different than their "approved" ones. Big Brother is here!

You have my vote but with all sincerity, why on earth would you want to allow your beauty and talent represent a country whose moral values have gone to hell and back? Gay is not Okay, and when people take the blinders from their eyes and come down to earth, hopefully they will see it. I'm not a "religious" woman but I believe in God...a god that created a man and a woman for marriage but destroyed an entire city because of their "Homosexual, godless activities" sic Sodom and Gomorrah.
You are Miss USA in my eyes and I'm sure in most of the true american citizens with good moral values.

How did he get to be a judge. If the only answer one can give is the one that is acceptable then don't ask it. What a moron Hilton is. Carrie did great by answering the stupid liberal question honestly. Perez has disgraced the pageant and insulted a person with integrity. He is a loser and always will be with his outrageous comments about Carrie. Perez can go and cry in the corner with all the other entitled losers. Why was he a judge for the Miss USA pageant anyway? He doesn't like women and was probably jealous that he was not in the competition. God save this country if there is ever a Mr. Gay USA pageant !!!!!

Carrie believes, as most of society has taught, that marriage has gender restrictions. Her answer was what she believed was worth choosing. If all the Miss USA pageant mothers were lesbians and their fathers were gay, would there be a Miss USA pageant? Why?

I do not see where it was a question of religion. Carrie was being honest with herself. She never said anything about gays. She just said that she believed MARRIAGE was between a man and a woman. She has integrity in the way she said it.. Perez Hilton is a man with no integrity. It is easy to see this in the he responded. He has disrespected every gay and lesbian out there. He has shown that they do not have integrity. I respect carrie as an American for she gave her opinion and held her head high. She did it with respect, dignity, and honesty. Why don't we say the truth... that this man is not worth a ..... I want someone to stand up for what they believe in...isn't that what we want an AMERICAN to stand for... We don't want it to be someone that does not feel....is not honest.... as American we should cherish that we have such a honest..good person reperesenting us... I feel we have allowed the integrity of the pageant be destroyed by a man with no honor....how sad
the issue is the integrity of the judge in the way he responsded... the pageant should have discredit him and proetected the integrity of the pageant and this honest lady... not a question on rather she won or lost.... but integrity...not an issue of religion... I never heard her say because god said...

Wow so it's okay for Perez Hilton to call her a dumb bitch, but it's not okay for her to tell her opinion on gay marriage? Personally I'm for gay and lesbian rights, but seriously if that's what the girl believes then it's within her first amendment rights to say so. She doesn't deserve to be booed on stage, it's not like she was trying to attack the gay and lesbian community. jeez.

Carrie, thank you. You speak for all of your fellow Christians who don't have the stage to do so. I once lost a job because I told a gay young man that I didn't want to hear about his sex life. I was the bad guy. As Christians we have to worry about offending others who don't give a crap if they offend us. Thank you.

Miss Cali is cuter that Miss NC. Her answer could have been more smooth, but she has guts. Whether you believe or not she stuck to her convicitons and that is something that most people run from.
I will stick with intestinal fortitude anyday.
OBTW, social political question are great for pageants otherwise how do you know they have an IQ.

For the record, I am in favor of gay marriage.
However, I think it is OUTRAGEOUS that we are now asking political and religious questions at beauty pageants.
Who the hell appointed Perez Hilton GRAND GAY INQUISITOR GENERAL?
Now that we can target Christians with impunity, What are we going to do next?
Go after jews? Muslims? Anybody else gay people don't like?

Her answer was incoherent..... Whether one marries the same sex or the opposite sex isn't a choice. Being gay isn't a choice, and therefore, one DESIRES to love and marry the same gender. Straight marriage is a right and same sex marriage is not. That's the issue. That was the question. She answered it incoherently and that's why she lost.

Carrie, You done good. You said the right thing about gays. They have no business even thinking about marriage. Gays are a disgrace. God may love them, but not their actions. I know God loves you for the words you spoke. If I were from California, I'd be proud that you said what you did, and I would have to bet that your parents are even prouder.
