Carrie Prejean said the right thing, which was her beliefs and I DEFINATELY stand behind her beliefs. Perez had no business getting upset over her beliefs. GOD loves him, but does not love his actions. I get so tired of people saying they were born gay... thats a bunch of bull.. GOD didn't create any mistakes. He gave them free will and Perez and every other gay person decided to take the third leg in their a**. The world is living out the book or Revelations.. I suggest some of them get to repenting.

i think that in America, everyone is free to feel and say and live . as long as you are a good person ,honest with youself and not afraid to express your way of living or thinking, thats what freedom is all about . i am gay and happy. but i hate when people get upset... try to ruin ones life hiding under the veil of freedom of speech .. but yet dont like what other say if its not what they want to hear.please take a good look at what you are doing . because it will come back to haunt you.remember freedom works both ways.....not just one way.thats not freedom of speech...it was a loaded question to begin with, ask obama what he thinks ..he will answer the same........

What opinion isn't biased? You either agree with something or you don't, and you get to have your own reasons for doing so. First of all, concerning so-called gay marriage, no such union will ever exist regardless of what laws are made or changed because God is the creator of marriage and in Genesis He clearly tells us that it's between male and female. Mankind cannot change what God has made. Gays may go through their ceremonies and think they're married, various documents and the laws of mankind will say they are married, but they are deceived because God will never recognize what has been changed from the way He created it. And secondly, if Carrie Prejean thinks she's a Christian and can strut half naked before the nation, then she is equally deceived because the bible speaks against such worldly conduct. Only a false Christian would ever be involved in immoral behavior like this. It is obvious that most people, including so-called Christians, have no ideal of what one really is.

I think she was being honest...and is being punished for her opinion. I am a heterosexual married woman. I believe that it is not within the role of the government to exclude anyone from the right of marriage. I was very disappointed that we in California, of all places, could not support this right for all our citizens. That said, it is just as important that we respect and uphold the rights of freedom of religion and freedom of speech. I believe that Ms. Prejean made a sincere effort to answer the question honestly with regard to her beliefs. I actually applaud her for being honest when it may have been to her advantage to be more circumspect. I also feel that her answer demonstrated an effort to be respectful to the gay community despite her personal/religious beliefs.
I am glad to here that Perez apologized for some of his comments. I can understand that it is a very sensitive subject for him and that he was frustrated with her response, but his vitriolic remarks were remarkably insensitive and intolerant. You can't expect tolerance for who you are when you are blatantly intolerant others being true to who they are.
