It's sort of official: there's serious bad blood brewing between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

It all started when Swift told Rolling Stone that she penned a song on hew new album about an enemy in the world of music, someone who did “something so horrible” when she tried to “sabotage an entire arena tour."

Then, not long after these comments went public, Perry Tweeted a reference to Mean Girls and a "Regina George in sheep's clothing," who we're rather positive is Taylor Swift.

So the claws are pretty much out between two of the top-selling artists in pop music history.

Will things get uglier from here? Who will fire the next shot? And where does this feud rank among recent famous rivalries, which include Drake Bell HATING on Justin Bieber and Jimmy Kimmel trading barbs with Kanye West?

Flip around and decide now:

Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift wrote a song titled "Bad Blood" about an enemy in the music business. We're pretty sure the subject was Katy Perry.

Carol Alt, who covered the 1982 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, is not what you'd call impressed by 2012, 2013 and 2014 cover girl Kate Upton. Like at all.

  • Kate Upton in Black

"What I don't understand with Kate [Upton] is what's all the hullaballoo," Alt, 53, said of the 21-year-old beauty. "There are many covers of Sports Illustrated."

"I don't get what the hullabaloo is. I think what it is is that in this moment there's just so much social media and that's why she's had more word of mouth."

While she may not get the mass appeal, Alt is not dissing Kate Upton personally; Carol says she's as just as deserving of her success as the others.

Therein likes the issue, though, as far as she's concerned. The hype.

"I like Kate, she's a pretty girl," she continued. "But all the girls are nice, and all the girls are pretty. Every cover, to me, deserves to be talked about."

Well yes, but this is worthy of SOME hullaballoo ... don't you think?!

Long before Kate Upton covered the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in back to back years, Carol Alt took the cover of the annual issue in 1982.

Three decades and 500 magazine appearances later, the 52-year-old is still at it, and she looks amazing on the cover of Galore this month. Beautiful.

Less beautiful? Her opinion of Kate Upton, whom she dissed as "a product of great media hype" and a "large size model." Ouch. The claws are out!

"Without Sports Illustrated, I’m not sure she would’ve made it in the industry as a high fashion model. Because she is more of a large size model," Alt says.

"And even if I’ve seen her in person, and I don’t think she’s in any way fat or overweight or anything. She is just more large-size than fashion models are."

"I think Kate is very good at hmmmm, how do I put it? She’s engaging. She comes to the set prepared to work, and in a good mood, she engages her client."

Carol Alt is about to prove that you needn't be under legal drinking age to look good naked (yes, we're looking at you, Karissa and Kristina Shannon).

The long-time super model - who rose to prominence way back in 1982 when she graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition - will pose naked for next month's Playboy.

Coming soon to Playboy: Carol Alt nude and Carmen Electra nude. Which are you more excited about?

Why is Alt, who has never posed nude before, choosing to put her elderly bare body on the line? She actually cites a change in diet.

“What was interesting to me at this moment in my life is not just my age... but I am a raw foodist and the only reason I look the way I do right now is because I changed my diet and started eating healthy, living foods, which are unprepared and unprocessed foods, the closest they can go from God to me”, she said. “That’s what I eat and my body shows it.”

The Playboy photo spread will be titled “Carol Alt In The Raw – The Body That Raw Built.”
