Carol Alt is a well-known, long-time super model. Discovered when she was a waitress, Alt became a full-time model at the age of 18.

This beauty rose to fame when she was featured on the cover of the 1982 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Impressively, Alt placed fifth on askmen.com's list of Top 10 Models Of All Time, behind only Kathy Ireland, Christie Brinkley, Gisele Bündchen and Cindy Crawford.

Now, at the age of 48, she'll appear on the cover of Playboy. Way to go, Carol!
