There you are, doinking around on Facebook while your wee one watches cartoons when you hear it. A voice you recognize but can't quite place. YOU KNOW THAT VOICE!

You're totally not crazy. Many famous faces lend, or have lent, their voices to the animated screen, bringing characters large and small to life.

Voice acting is actually a lucrative career, one in which Rachel FredericksonThe Biggest Loser winner, worked before becoming a tabloid celebrity because of her dramatic weight loss.

Some got their starts that way, while others retreated to the world of animation when their faces were too famous for them to play any other roles.

Scroll through 21 celebrities who have voiced cartoon characters and see which ones you recognize immediately, and which come as a total surprise:

Let's face it: this is Justin Bieber's world. We merely live in it.

The superstar has been everywhere this holiday season, and not solely because some moron named Mariah Yeater sued him for paternity of her son. Bieber has released a Christmas CD and has spent weeks promoting it via talk shows, live performances and official video releases. The latest example of the latter? This duet with Mariah Carey.

So it's only appropriate that Bieber - along with friends Usher and Busta Rhymes - was featured on last night's tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Watch the teenage icon do his thing in the following two performance videos:

Justin Bieber and friends are continuing their catchy assault on Christmas.

With the singer's holiday album out tomorrow, Justin has been giving fans a taste of what's to come via a few early releases. First, there was this duet with Usher. It was followed a couple days later by this collaboration with Mariah Carey.

Now, the Biebs has teamed up with iconic rapper Busta Rhymes in order to bust some rhymes on a remake of "Drummer Boy." It's definitely a different version than the one that's been heard on the radio for so many years. Listen now and compare:

Embattled rapper Busta Rhymes is in trouble again after allegedly bustin' a fan in the dome during an August 2006 run-in.

Roberto LeBron filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Superior Court, alleging that Rhymes - real name Trevor Smith - and a posse of nine bodyguards roughed him up and kicked him in the head after a concert last summer.

Busta Rhymes' attorney Scott Leemon, said he has yet to see the lawsuit, and has "no comment until I see it."

When asked whether the lawsuit was connected to another pending August 2006 assault suit against Busta Rhymes, Leemon stated that he had "no additional information" at this time.

A regular Jason Wahler, Rhymes currently faces four separate trials for charges, including drunk driving, driving with a suspended license and assaulting a former employee.

That's busted stuff, peeps!

Busta Rhymes was released back into the world after his DUI arrest about 36 hours ago, our celebrity gossip spies have learned, but he'll have to head right back to the courtroom for his arraignment next week.

Alec Baldwin and Betty White

All over a shot of Hennessy.

A source says when the rapper was accosted yesterday by cops, he told officers that he'd only had "a shot of Hennessy" before he took the wheel of his GMC Denali.

The cops - in the arrest report obtained by TMZ - said Busta Rhymes had "watery and bloodshot eyes."

After he failed a field sobriety test, the police arrested him, but at the station, he actually blew a 0.067, below the legal limit of 0.08.

He was still charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and one count of operating a motor vehicle while impaired.

After his release on $7,500 bail this afternoon, Busta is expected next Tuesday, when he'll also have to face assault charges on two separate incidents from last year.

Elsewhere on the DUI front, Eve has been officially charged with driving under the influence, stemming from an accident in L.A. last week.

Eve was arrested after she crashed her Maserati into a divider in Hollywood around 2:45 AM. Police sources say her blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit.

And, like 50 Cent, she had no car insurance. But at least Sean Penn paid her a jail house visit. Eve is due back in court May 17. She could face a $1,000 fine and six months in jail.

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Alec Baldwin won't attend a court hearing in which a judge will decide if he should win back the right to contact his daughter.

Baldwin's right to interact with Ireland was nixed after the judge heard the now-famous voicemail tirade the actor left for his daughter.

A Baldwin source says Alec won't be at the hearing because the lawyers, not the parents, are the ones who will speak. The source added that Ireland is "of paramount importance to him."

Sources also say Kim Basinger will be in court for the hearing.

Alec had a "great two-week visit with Ireland" back in March, a friend says - and after that visit, Baldwin suspended a motion to charge Kim with contempt for allegedly interfering with his parental rights.

Baldwin suspended the motion as a show of good faith. The upshot? He could resurrect the contempt charge in the wake of what went down recently.

Channeling his inner Taboo, Busta Rhymes was arrested on a DUI charge early this morning in New York, after police stopped him for driving an SUV with "excessively tinted windows."

According to the NYPD, the rapper, driving a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali, was pulled over on the far West side of Midtown Manhattan at 12:48 AM.

The reason? His car's windows were too dark.

When cops encountered Busta Rhymes (real name: Trevor Smith), they noticed a "strong odor of alcohol" on his breath and issued a field sobriety test.

He was then taken into custody on a charge of driving while impaired and booked at the Midtown North Police Precinct. No word on whether he saw Jason Wahler in the holding cell.

A message left for Rhymes' lawyer, Scott Leemon, was not immediately answered. The Manhattan District Attorney's office said only that Rhymes "had not been arraigned."

The rapper awaits trial next Tuesday on assault charges from last year.

Busta was also busted for allegedly beating up a fan back in January.

Essentially, he's a more violent, East Coast version of Snoop Dogg.

At T.H. Gossip, we always enjoy a good celebrity arrest. Unfortunately, they all can't be as high-profile - or high-comedy - as the recent Nicole Richie DUI bust or the infamous Mel Gibson anti-Semitic tirade.

No, more often, it's the D-listers who get cuffed and dragged off to the slammer - or are involved in stalking cases (in other words, it's more likely to be Bob Uecker than Hilary Duff).

Tyrese Image

Today, we have no fewer than four such stories to share with you. Let's begin with Busta Rhymes (pictured), who turned himself over to the NYPD last night after a man accused the rap star of beating him up.

The unidentified man claims Rhymes, who was also arrested for crimes last year, and whose real name is Trevor Smith, punched and kicked him numerous times in a dispute over money outside a Manhattan building December 26.

Prosecutors have charged Busta with two counts of assault, one count of attempted assault, and harassment. The judge set his bail at $3,500 this morning and ordered him to stay away from the alleged victim. He is due back in court on February 20.

Police are also conducting a criminal investigation into allegations that R & B singer Tyrese (left) punched his pregnant girlfriend twice early this morning.

Initial reports indicated that Tyrese hit the woman in the stomach, but now reports say he struck her arm and her thigh - which is sooo much better.

Tyrese's live-in girlfriend claimed that the two got into a heated argument around 5:30 AM at their Los Angeles home. Paramedics responded after Tyrese allegedly struck the woman, who is five months pregnant, then drove away from the scene - Joe Simpson style. Always a class move.

Reps for Tyrese had no comment.

Then there's the restraining order filed by Days of Our Lives star Drake Hogestyn against a man he says assaulted him in his home on New Year's Eve, - and physically tried to exorcise the devil from him.

It's a slow news day.

Hogestyn (right) says he was with his family in the backyard of their Malibu home when Carl Cheney of Portland, Ore., came onto his property and ran at his daughter carrying a bible screaming, "Where is he? I will cast him out!"

Hogestyn says Cheney grabbed and pushed his wife backwards on their patio stairs. At that time, Hogestyn "grabbed him by the hair, spun him around, delivered a right cross to the chin that sent him down the stairs."

The intruder - who may have entered the wrong house, a la Kid Rock - is in custody, held on $150,000 bail.

Last, we have veteran sportscaster Jim Lampley (okay, it's a really slow news day), who was arrested last night in San Diego on felony charges of domestic abuse.

Police say Lampley posted his $35,000 bail and is awaiting his release from the Vista Jail in San Diego.

He is staring at a felony count of domestic abuse, as well as two misdemeanor counts of violating a restraining order and preventing a witness from testifying.

Wow. We knew pro athletes were all about thug life, but we had no idea about broadcasters.

Sear those images in your mind ... because you're about to see many worse examples of what happens when good people make bad fashion decisions.

Before tonight's MTV Video Music Awards, we thought it would be fun to take a look back. Over the years, this spectacle has led to numerous celebrities that looked far from REspectable ...

Yup, Paula Abdul has always looked awful at award shows. Just borrow Simon's black t-shirt next time, don't try so hard.

Paula Abdul Flower Dress

Hey, a pair of criminals! At least Martha Stewart looks fairly normal in this dark suit. Busta Rhymes, on the other hand? Ummm ... is that a dress?

Maybe this shouldn't be classified as a "classic" picture. After all, when it comes to Lil Kim, not much has changed.

Consider us speechless. When Prince sings at halftime of the Super Bowl, let's hope he wears a bit more.

First Lil Wayne and now Busta Rhymes? This recent spat of rapper arrests is causing The Gossip to wonder just who can be trusted in this day and age.

What's next, Barry Bonds takes steroids?!?

Mr. Rhymes was arrested on assault charges last night after a concert on New York City's Randalls Island. The 34-year-old artist, whose real name is Trevor Smith, was being investigated by police for allegedly assaulting a fan who may have spat on his car after his performance at a music festival in New York last week.

Details of the incident were not immediately available, but a police officer cited by the Associated Press said that it took place about six days ago. There may be more to it, however.

The arrest may also have given police the opportunity to interview Rhymes about the February shooting death of his bodyguard, Israel Ramirez, 29, during a video shoot in Brooklyn. No arrest has been made in the case, and the rapper is not considered a suspect, though New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly has publicly criticized Rhymes for not cooperating with the investigation.

It's all very troubling. Sounds like Busta could use some career and life counseling. We hope he has the phone number for the white Oprah.
