Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are at it once again.

With Mueller in The Betty Ford Center and Denise Richards looking after her four-year old twins, sources confirm to TMZ that she and Sheen are headed to court this morning because the actor believes his ex is using her kids for money.

A quick refresher:

Mueller's latest stint in rehab stems from an incident last month in which she rambled about connections to the mafia and allegedly assaulted a male companion.

As a result, little Bob and Max were temporarily placed under Richards' care, with approval from Sheen.

In early May, Brooke Mueller was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold, while the twins she shares with Charlie Sheen were taken away from her.

And now we may know why.

Brooke Mueller on the Street

According to TMZ sources, a man in the company of Mueller at her home called 911 and told an operator that she assaulted him.

When authorities arrived, Brooke was clearly in another (likely substance-related) world, rambling about her connections to the mafia and how she was working with the FBI to "bring" Sheen "down."

Lindsay Lohan and Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, are apparently in the same wing of the same rehab center. Somehow we are not surprised.

The duo is staying in the hospital wing at The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and they have already run into each other several times.

Hopefully no vials of crack were exchanged during those awkward hugs.

Linds checked into Betty Ford as a condition of her recent plea deal, but claims she has no drug problem and has only done coke 4-5 times ever.

Yeah, right. Brooke Mueller, for her troubled part, makes no such denials.

In addition to their well-documented substance abuse problems, the girls have something else in common: Charlie has given them each a ton of money!

That's all we got. We're just wondering: Who's the bigger train wreck?

The twins were removed from Brooke's care late Thursday for undisclosed reasons, but officials apparently believed they were not safe in her care.

"Charlie fully supports the actions of the DCFS," Sheen's rep says.

The actor, who has been through this kind of thing before, "knows Max and Bob are in a safe, stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys' sisters."

That's a giant ouch, Brooke Mueller.

Charlie Sheen's twin boys were removed from the home of their mother, Brooke Mueller last night, and are now staying with his other ex-wife, Denise Richards.

Officials decided Brooke's house was an "unsafe environment" for children.

It's not clear what prompted this, but L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services personnel arrived to Brooke Mueller's home with a warrant.

When they departed, Bob and Max, 4, left with them.

The kids are now with Denise Richards, the mother of Charlie's two young daughters, Sam and Lola. Denise has often helped Charlie in situations like this.

Following just six days in rehab, it looks like Brooke Mueller is on the road to recovery.

According to Brooke Mueller, that is.

Following an incident in which her assistant found her passed out, Charlie Sheen's troubled ex-wife has texted Radar Online and said that she's "doing excellent."

For the sake of the twins she shares with the actor, let's all hope this remains the case.

Brooke Mueller is either in denial. Or is just really good at kicking this whole substance abuse thing.

The ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, who entered rehab last week for the 19th time - no, that is not a typo - after an assistant found her passed out and dialed 911, is already out and back in the real world, just six days after admission.

Brooke Mueller as a Mother

Sources tell TMZ Mueller's goal this time around was simply to detox (from an admitted Adderall addiction), which can typically take just a few days to accomplish... but it's rather clear Mueller has an overarching problem here.

Brooke will continue to undergo psychological outpatient treatment and she's also regained custody of her twin boys, who had been under the care of her mother.

For their sake, we sincerely hope Muller has her act together.

Brooke Mueller is hoping the 19th time is the charm.

The troubled ex-wife of Charlie Sheen has checked back into rehab, sources tell TMZ, following a hospitalization this week that she admits was due to a problem with Adderall.

As previously reported, Mueller's assistant found the former Oxygen reality star passed out a few days ago, although Brooke insisted at the time that it was a misunderstanding because she was simply tired from designing a line of jewelry.

Really, Mueller said that.

Brooke Mueller is coming clean to her closest friends, according to TMZ, and admits she was in fact on something when she was rushed to the hospital last week.

She wasn't on crack - sadly not something you can rule out when dealing with Brooke - but Adderall, for which she has a valid prescription to treat her ADHD.

Brooke Mueller Roast Picture

Mueller "fell off the wagon" last week and took way more than prescribed.

Brooke's assistant found the 35-year-old passed out hardcore Friday and called 911, fearing she had overdosed. Mueller was rushed to the hospital but denied OD'ing.
