Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson may be opponents on the court.

But they have agreed to be partners off the court... for life.

The WNBA stars are now engaged, after Griner got down on one knee Thursday night and popped life’s most important question to Johnson.

Griner, a two-time WNBA All-Star, plays for the Phoenix Mercury, while Johnson is a member of the Tulsa Shock.

"Last Night was a Night to Remember I became the happiest person on this earth! (almost pass out but when that one word came out I came back to life)," Griner wrote on Instagram. "Me and my baby @missvol25 are in it for Life!"

College basketball star Brittney Griner, the #1 WNBA Draft pick, openly discussed her sexuality with Sports Illustrated and came out as a lesbian for the first time.

Griner said she wants youth to know that it's okay to be who they are.

The other two top WNBA picks, Skylar Diggins and Elena Delle Donne, both chimed in and said that they support openly gay players in the league.

Griner said that while she hasn't discussed her sexual orientation in such a public way, she wasn't hiding and she's always been open about who she is.

The collegiate career of Brittney Griner came to an end over the weekend when Louisville shocked Baylor in the Elite 8.

But not only does Robert Griffin III have Griner's back, Mark Cuban has given the 6'8" center a reason to turn her frown upside down: he may draft her to the NBA!

"If she is the best on the board, I will take her," the Mavericks owner said prior to last night's game against the Lakers. "I've thought about it already. Would I do it?"

"Right now, I'd lean toward yes, just to see if she can do it."
