Britney Spears. Jesus Christ. Aside from wildly successful comebacks, what do these two have in common? A musical, that's what.

SPEARS: The Gospel According to Britney will use the Britney Spears' music to tell the story of Jesus Christ.

It's a good thing this show is one-night only because the theater might not be standing by the time it's over.

"Is it the greatest story ever told set to the greatest music ever written?" asks the shows' promotional materials? Umm...uh...no idea.

The show promises to answer the question, though, provided the lead performer isn't struck by lighting like Jim Caviezel was when he gave the savior-impersonating a go back in 2004.

Britney Spears personally took to her Twitter account tell her five million-plus followers about an up and coming artist. Christian TV, you just got a lot of new fans.

Boyfriend Jason Trawick deserves a lot of the credit, as well.

"Sitting with Jason," Tweeted Brit, who just passed Ashton Kutcher for most followers. "He just played my favorite new song of the summer, 'When She Turns 18.'"

After the pop icon shared a link to the singer's MySpace, Christian TV immediately showed his gratitude. "Thank you Britney! Glad youre feelin' it!" he Tweeted.

She's not the only one raving about the new artist. EW says the track will have "hearts pounding and tongues wagging," calling the scorching song a potential "smash."

As for when we might hear some new music from Spears herself, we're not sure but her recent album, Circus, and subsequent world tour were hugely successful.

In the meantime, she seems quite content hanging out with Jason and her two sons, not wearing bras and occasionally Tweeting her thoughts. We love you, girl!

Ready for this one? Ever the religious flip-flopper, Britney Spears has apparently traded in crucifixes and red strings for the Star of David. Is the Hebrew symbol in homage to her new man, Jewish model-actor Isaac Cohen?

Britney Spears was raised Southern Baptist and wore Christian crosses on a regular basis before Madonna turned her on to Kabbalah - and turned T.H. Gossip on by sticking her tongue down Britney's throat - in 2003.

The pop singer began studying the mystical offshoot of Judaism and started wearing the religion's famed red string bracelet designed to ward off the "evil eye." Then, in May 2006, the soon-to-be-ex Mrs. Kevin Federline announced that she was giving up Kabbalah, saying "my baby is my religion."

Yeah. Such a strong religion, in fact, that until this past week, Britney was seldom (if ever) seen with newborn baby Jayden James Federline.

But she appeared to have found a new faith Monday night when she showed off her new Star of David. When Britney Spears and Isaac Cohen were on their way home from the Chateau Marmont, photographers captured the star on her necklace. See below:

Has Britney gone Jewtastic? Does anyone care? We'll keep you posted.

I miss it here so much! I love it so much! It makes me it's kinda like bittersweet coming here because I used to live here for two years. And when I come here, it's like, man, I wish I had my apartment here still.
