In a new holiday greeting on her official site, recovering singer Britney Spears, along with her two boys, wishes all her fans a Merry Christmas.

As she addresses Britney nation, Sean Preston stands by her side, while Jayden James just sits there in her arms, lookin' cute and burping.

"I want to wish everybody out there a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year," Britney says while standing in front of a giant Christmas tree.

"And I want to thank all of my fans for making my album Circus No. 1. So thank you," the star says, "As my son burps."

Britney Spears recently revealed her holiday plans: "It's family time... do the tree thing. The family comes over. It's fun."

Britney Spears Christmas Greetings

If Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline believed in Santa Claus before this year, their mom, Britney Spears, put an end to that.

Instead of counting on the Jolly Fat Man to bring the kids gifts, the "Circus" singer took them on a shopping spree where they pointed to the toys they wanted, and Mom's American Express Black Card delivered them down the Chimney.

What would the boys do without life-sized, human toy soldiers to play G.I. Joe with at home, K-Fed has a lot to live up to during Christmas at Dad's house...

Britney Spears' youngest son, Jayden James, has been released from a Mississippi hospital after a health scare landed him in the emergency room Sunday evening.

Jayden can be seen leaving the hospital in the arms of his mama below...

With her career comeback in full swing, Britney Spears still found the time to take her adorable two sons — Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2 — to a pumpkin patch in West Hollywood on Thursday. What a nice fall tradition.

When asked how it went, Britney Spears responded, “We had a great day! I just put the babies down for bed. We were able to sneak out and get Halloween costumes!”

Wonder what Sean Preston and Jayden James will go as for Halloween. Maybe a couple of little K-Feds? In any case, good to see our girl putting her life back together.

From her nasty divorce and custody battle, to her "performance" at the 2007 VMAs, to shaving her head, to falling under the spell of evil Sam Lutfi, to her liaisons with Adnan Ghalib, it's been a rough two years for Britney Spears.

And now, one year after an erratic and distracted Britney stormed out of an OK! Magazine photo shoot, a very different woman sat down to talk about her two adorable sons, her dad and the future of her nearly sidetracked career.

First off, the 26-year-old mother of two says that she hopes her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, do not choose a career in entertainment.

"I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to," Britney Spears explains. "I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood."

Perhaps some of Britney's reluctance comes from seeing little sister Jamie Lynn Spears have to face so much scrutiny over her recent pregnancy. "

I was shocked a little bit," says Britney. "She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling."

The pop star wants her boys to be close to her newborn niece. "I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie Briann," Spears says.

We don't see too much of Jayden James Federline, in large part because he lives with Kevin Federline, who mostly lays pretty low, and does not exactly attract hordes of celebrity gossip media even when he does venture out.

But Britney Spears appeared in Bel Air yesterday and was all smiles during her visitation day with Jayden James and his brother Sean Preston...

With the kids' grandpa Jamie Spears on hand, as well, is would appear she is doing so much better, and no-pants clubbing is a thing of the past. Phew!

It was a family affair Saturday night as Lynne Spears hung out with Britney Spears and her two kiddies, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, for an overnight visit at the troubled singer's home in Studio City, Calif.

THG NOTE: In the span of just a few years, Britney Spears has gone from the biggest star in the world to a train wreck who can't have her own children stay overnight without one of her own parents present. Just saying.

In town since Wednesday, Lynne Spears took Britney out for some mother-daughter bonding, shopping at the True Religion warehouse and Pottery Barn on Friday before enjoying a "girls dinner" of salad, sushi rolls, and fish.

"Britney walked in with a big smile," says an observer. "She was gorgeous, and I have never seen her in a better mood. She was laughing the whole time she was here. Britney seemed to have the best time hanging out with her mom and friends."

Meanwhile, Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, who is her legal conservator as she receives treatment for myriad mental illnesses and is usually by her side 24-7, spent the weekend at his new house in Santa Monica, Calif.

Soon, Lynne will probably return to Louisiana, where l'il Jamie Lynn Spears just gave birth to baby Maddie Briann, and is probably in the process of getting knocked up again right about now. Girl seriously hates condoms.
