Apparently a new romance will to the bikini body good.

Britney Spears proved as much, showing off her toned beach figure in a TINY bikini in Malibu Monday. Check out the pop star in her nautical-themed attire:

In a blue and white striped bandeau bikini top and tie-side bottoms, Spears's belly button ring sparkled as she soaked up some sun with some pals.

With her hair tied back in a ponytail and sunglasses resting on her head, Brit looked relaxed as she smoked cigarettes and chatted with girlfriends.

Britney Spears is NOT ready for the end of summer.

The pop star has made this clear with a couple of bikini photos of late, and while we share that sentiment, Labor Day is really only the unofficial end ... especially if you live in SoCal with its year-round warmth and sunshine. But we get the point.

"Having some fun in the sun... don't want summer to be over" she Tweeted yesterday afternoon, presenting this pic to more than 19,900,000 followers:

The previous Britney Spears bikini pic we posted expressed a similar view of life. With the X Factor starting up, she is going to be much busier soon.

The X Factor judge lamented the waning days of the season on Twitter and Facebook, posting a photo of her soaking up some sun in a white bikini.

Spears' X Factor duties are about to kick into high gear as the show's second season (and the pop star's first as a judge) premieres September 12.

Enjoying some downtime from The X Factor in Hawaii, the 30-year-old is looking the part of mother and worldwide pop icon at the same time.

The singer shared some personal photos from inside her hotel in Maui. Here's Spears in a purple bikini with Jayden James and Sean Preston.

"Getting ready for some pool time! Having a blast," the star posted with the pic, which we've filed under adorable. And celebrity bikini photos.

Yesterday, she posted a family photo of her with fiance Jason Trawick and the boys as well, writing "Happy 4th of July from the Aloha State!!"

Pop icon Britney Spears is making headlines all over the world for her recent songs, music videos and Femme Fatale tour, but not all of them are positive.

Her trademark scandalous, skimpy costumes have earned harsh criticism from some, while her devoted fans continue to flock to the singer's every show.

One thing's for sure: This is not the Britney Spears of old.

The pop icon kicked off the UK leg of her tour in London Thursday night, showing off her ample, womanly curves in sexy bras, panties, leotards, etc.

The 29-year-old chanteuse, whose weight has fluctuated in recent years, is not shy about flaunting a slightly healthier midsection and ... other attributes.

But is she phoning it in these days? The Daily Mail reported that Britney’s ticket sales have been sluggish and that her lip synced performance at the O2 arena “lacked soul” and that there was “no real interaction between the singer and her fans.”
