According to a published report in the New York Post, Britney Spears' sons want nothing to do with her during their visitations - and are even freaked.

Moreover, the oldest, two-year-old Sean Preston, is reportedly sleeping in the same bed as Kevin Federline because the little guy has nightmares.

When Britney Spears arrives to pick Sean Preston and Jayden James up for their scheduled visits, they cry for their father. So sad. So easy to believe, too.

PageSix.com has more on this including what Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears, is trying to do to help her and this whole situation:

"Jamie told Kevin that Britney handled the visit well. She actually did cry, but that was only because Sean cried when she took them from Kevin," says the insider. "The boys are confused when it comes to their mom, which is another reason why either Jamie Spears or a psychologist is required during the visits. Jamie plays with them and keeps them busy. They enjoy their grandfather, so it makes the time easier."

Part of the problem? Britney Spears treats them like dolls, not children.

"Britney Spears dresses them for show and tell," says the insider. "She likes to show them off, but not give them the nurturing they need. I understand she is working on this part of her motherhood with her psychiatrist."

We suppose this is what happens when one doesn't see one's children for nearly two months after a pair of psychotic meltdowns. Or when one neglects / exploits them to a dangerous environment pretty much 24-7 prior to that.

Yesterday, we brought you a photo of a possibly pregnant Lindsay Lohan... who is probably just eating more protein than in her waifish, heroin-abusing days.

But you never know. Somewhere, Dario Faiella is sweating, reading celebrity news around the clock and compulsively hitting refresh on his Internet browser.

Then there's Britney Spears. Like Lindsay, she's probably just wearing tight clothes and pounding In-N-Out cheeseburgers, not having feverish, unprotected sex.

But you never know. She's already cranked out two l'il mistakes, and with Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant, maybe Britney wants another one to get attention.

Anyway, here's a photo breakdown of two of our absolute favorite, possibly pregnant, train wreck celebrities. Who looks hotter - and more knocked up - to you?

OMG, celebrity gossip readers ... both these celebrities are drinking water! Another sign that either Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears is pregnant ... or working out.

Jamie Spears will remain in control of his troubled daughter Britney Spears' finances and other aspects of the struggling star's life until July 31.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz extended the temporary legal conservatorship that had been ordered on February 4, during Spears' epic meltdown, trip to the hospital and stint in a psychiatric facility.

The order is effectively a seal of approval for her dad, Jamie Spears, who has been lauded by all parties involved for helping settle Britney the heck down.

Sources say the judge and conservators are open to ending the conservatorship earlier than July 31, if Britney Spears' mental state sufficiently improves further.

Jamie Spears has been overseeing his 26-year-old daughter's well-being and her estimated $100 million fortune since February 1, when Goetz named him and his attorney, Andrew Wallet, temporary co-conservators.

This gives them the right to employ bodyguards and restrict her visitors, which they have certainly done, getting a restraining order on Sam Lutfi.

A source close to Britney Spears says she's okay with her dad in control.

On February 23, she was allowed to spend time with her sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 17 months, for the first time since her January 3 meltdown and standoff with the police. She's had regular visits since.

Rather than clubbing with no underwear, Britney has been laying low, save for some trips to the dance studio and out for dinner - usually with her father present.

Britney and Adnan Ghalib appear to be still together, although when they've hung out, it's been behind the guarded gates of her Summit Circle compound.

Guess that story about Britney Spears dumping Adnan Ghalib because of his sexually-based-in-nature text messages to other ladies was bull$h!t.

Stunning.

Our man Adnan was spotted making another late-night house call to Miss Britney Spears afters stopping by a gas station to get her an orange soda. Aww.

Talking briefly with some celebrity news reporters - not surprisingly from his own employer, FinalPixx - Adnan even talked about the breakup story, calling it "just rumors." He then proceeded through the gates of her Summit Circle compound.

No idea what's going on with the Spears-Ghalib relationship, but he's apparently not ostracized - and under investigation by the LAPD - like, say, Sam Lutfi.

It's been a slow couple of weeks for Britney Spears news, but that's a good thing in the long run - at least for the health of the singer.

Rather than clubbing in no underwear, Britney has been kicking it at home and in the dance studio, where she taught a class of 15 children Tuesday.

Just a few years older than Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline, her two precious l'il mistakes, the young dance pupils are singing her praises.

"I like Britney," said 5-year-old Elissa Bouganim, who has taken three classes with the pop star. "Today, first we were dancing slow, and then faster and faster ... Then we did the fish-move and other fun things."

The troubled 26-year-old singer has turned into a semi-regular instructor at the Millennium Dance Complex in the past month - as she has settled into a quieter routine overseen by her dad and conservator, Jamie Spears.

"It's just amazing to watch Britney with the kids," says Elissa's mom. "Elissa won't stop dancing, that's all she wants to do. Britney Spears has really inspired her."

It's kind of how we feel about the celebrity gossip business.

Elissa has grown so fond of her new teacher, she even gave Britney Spears a gift during Tuesday's super-exciting dance class. "It was a picture of [Peter Pan's] Tinkerbell," she says. "And she gave me a hug."

The pint-size cutie would be happy if Spears taught all classes. "Britney is nice," she says. "I want to dance with Britney all the time."

While we actually fell asleep for a brief instant writing this boring story, we are happy Britney is keeping company with Elissa and not Sam Lutfi.

This stuff keeps getting better and better.

The shady Sam Lutfi is reportedly going to fight the restraining order against him by getting Britney Spears to take the stand in court.

This is according to OK! Magazine, however, so we all know it won't happen in a million years. But wouldn't it be great?

Can't you just see Osama Lutfi up there, lookin' all evil and glaring at his former meal ticket, getting more furious by the second as his ass gets grilled by Britney Spears' attorneys, then lashing out at America and the world?

According to "reports," Sam Lutfi has contacted Brit through a third-party and asked her to help him fight the restraining order, which had been sought - and obtained - by Britney Spears' parents and their lawyers.

Lutfi's spokesman, Michael Sands, said he does intend to fight it: "Sam is a good guy who does not agree with this restraining order."

The seedy one, who is the subject of a police investigation regarding his alleged drugging of Spears, will apparently fight it out in court on March 17.

Sam will allege that he didn't drug Britney as Lynne Spears alleges, and that she actually had access to drugs from other visitors that came to the house.

Sure thing.

While we're happy to report any positive Heidi Montag news after the tragic passing of her stepbrother, Eric O'Hara, this is straight up ridiculous.

Yesterday, Ryan Seacrest played a duet between Heidi Montag and ... Britney Spears! That's right, this was on his KIIS-FM radio show.

The song is called "Dramatic" and apparently is not a joke, although we've heard that before. Remember "Body Language," people. Wow.

Ummm, yeah. The UCLA psychiatric ward may have let Britney Spears back on the streets a little too soon is she is doing a duet with Heidi Montag.

Of course, calling this a duet is probably  giving them too much credit. Soft porn may be more up their alley, as this is mostly just them breathing. Hard.

Then again, Kevin Federline isn't rapping, nor does Spencer Pratt make a cameo, so perhaps we should consider ourselves lucky and move on.

There's a remarkably bogus rumor that Britney Spears is hemorrhaging money so badly that at this pace, she'll be bankrupt within four years.

Her family has been holding talks with her, according to celebrity news reports, to try and intervene in her shopping sprees.

Britney Spears' massive fortune, which has been estimated at $50-100 million, by some reports is now down to a mere $20 million.

This is what happens to some celebrity gossip sources when Britney Spears starts to clean up her act. They get desperate and make $h!t up.

Actual court documents have shown that Britney earns upwards of $700,000 a month in royalties from her music and various endorsements. A month.

Rumors of Britney being in financial trouble are patently false.

That's about $8.4 million annually without touring. It takes a lot of bad decisions (mostly real estate) to burn through that much cash.

Unless Sam Lutfi stole it, there's no conceivable way Britney is broke.

While she's not exactly thrifty, Britney's no Michael Jackson. A Starbucks latte, bag of Doritos, Red Bull and pack of smokes only comes to like $15. She's fine.

So while we'll continue to report all the latest rumors - such as Britney and Adnan Ghalib supposedly breaking up - take it with a grain of salt.

Know the difference.

Britney Spears has reportedly sort of dumped her celebrity news photographer boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, having grown convinced he was cheating on her.

But before she ordered Adnan from her home for, like, maybe the last time ever, she grabbed his iPhone and threw it in the pool, The Sun reports.

An insider said Britney and Adnan got into a fight after two video clips showing him out with mystery girls were posted on celebrity gossip blogs.

That's when Brit grabbed Adnan's phone and saw racy txt msgs. omfg wtf rotfl!

A source said: "There were about a dozen from one girl, all sent on one day. They were pretty saucy stuff, sexual references â€" not the sort you'd send to a friend."

Here's how the Britney-Adnan fight supposedly went down after that ...

• Britney Spears lost her $h1t and started yelling.
• She was demanding to know who sent the texts and shouting, ‘What's this about? You're cheating on me'.
• Adnan Ghalib said the girl was just a friend, but Britney got more and more angry. Then she told him, ‘That's it. It's over'.
• Just before she told Adnan to go, she snatched his phone and threw it in the pool in agner. He didn't even bother trying to get it out.

Insiders say Britney Spears, who was supposedly pregnant by this loser, is adamant that she's finished with smooth-talking Adnan, who was still with his wife, AzLynn Berry, when he started romancing the troubled pop star late last year.

The Sun reports Adnan Ghalib is not going quietly, and is wooing the singer to see him again with love notes like this one below. He wants her to come home to a milky bowl of soup, folks. We have no comment at this time.

There's little doubt that it's been a slow week for Britney Spears news.

Laid-back nights with dad, normal visits with the two l'il mistakes, an alarming lack of police standoffs or no underwear shots ... a run like we've seen in the last 10 days or so is enough to leave a celebrity news site and its readers a bit bored.

Some celebrity magazines are reeling, even going so far as to make up stories, such as Star's claim that Adnan Ghalib got Britney Spears pregnant. Riiight.

It's a sad state of affairs.
