Britney Spears was involved in another car accident Tuesday.

The train wreck rear-ended a car on Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills.

Spears hit a red Ford Explorer, driven by some lady. No injuries, as far as we know - and Britney didn't even get out of the car.

Her bodyguard got out and talked to the other woman. The red Explorer Britney Spears hit then followed her back to Britney's home.

There they exchanged information and that was that.

This photo of Britney Spears was not taken yesterday. It was from one of her many previous car accidents. They all blend together at this point.

Britney Spears was stopped at a red light and, for some reason, accelerated when the light was still red, hitting the Explorer stopped in front of her, causing minor damage. She is not expected to face any charges.

Fortunately, Sean Preston and Jayden James were not present.

Britney Spears' second appearance on How I Met Your Mother (last night) won't be her last if the show's co-creator, Craig Thomas, has his way.

"When people watch Britney's second appearance on the show they'll see that the door is still open for her to come back," he told the Hollywood Reporter.

"[Britney Spears] was better than the first time around and I think the fans will enjoy it because her return answers a larger mystery set up earlier in the series," he said.

"So there's a good plot reason why she's there."

Better than the first time? Not sure about that. It may be time for Brit to quit while she's ahead. But we will let you be the judge ...

There may be a thaw in the contentious relationship between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, suggests K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Spears, who last week was awarded more time with her sons with Federline (Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1), was the hot topic of discussion for Mark Vincent Kaplan, on Monday morning's Today show.

The attorney said that the judge's decision at last week's ruling reflected a significant "improvement" in Britney Spears' mental health.

She spent two full days, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on both Thursday, May 8 and yesterday, May 11 (Mother's Day) with her l'il sons.

The contestants on Rock the Cradle received a pleasant surprise Thursday - their audience doubled when Britney Spears showed up to watch the season finale in person and support her former manager, Larry Rudolph.

Rudolph is the producer of Rock The Cradle, which pits aspiring pop stars, all of whom have rock and roll in their DNA, against one another in a competition. Sort of like American Idol, only not at all popular.

Britney Spears spent the duration of the show seated backstage surrounded by security. After the show, Larry Rudolph told Us Weekly:

"She was here to support the show. I mentioned to her that I was going to my show. Britney said, ‘I want to come down.' She loved it. She really loved it. She didn't come here for publicity or anything like that. She came here because she wanted to see the show, which I appreciated."

Spears headed to the show after spending the day with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston. It was the first visit since she, along with parents Lynne and Jamie Spears, appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court Tuesday for a custody hearing, where she was granted extended visitation rights.

Based on the outrage directed toward Miley Cyrus for her topless photo (pictured below) in Vanity Fair this month, you'd think the Disney actress was the first young celebrity to ever show some skin.

But this is far from the case.

With Britney Spears embroiled in a seemingly never-ending custody battle and Jamie Lynn Spears expecting her first child in July, the May 2 wedding and baby shower for the latter provided some much-needed relaxation and fun!

"It was wonderful to be able to spend some time with her and just be girls again," Jamie Lynn Spears told OK! Magazine in an exclusive interview about seeing her train wreck big sister for the first time in months.

"We painted our nails and did stupid stuff."

Jamie Lynn, who has been laying low in their hometown of Kentwood, La., since Casey Aldridge knocked her up, was thankful for her privacy.

"To be able to be here in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful," she said.

Britney Spears' visitation rights with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James have been expanded following a hearing with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

There is no change in custody, K-Fed's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said at a press conference, but overnight visits for Britney Spears (who has been without them for months) "will be phased in in the near future."

"The court made orders today, orders that the parties were able to mostly agree to," Kaplan said. "It represents a a cautious step moving forward."

Mark Vincent Kaplan added that the court was "pleased with the progress that seems to be occurring" with Britney Spears daily, and said that he believes Tuesday's court ruling is "a step in the right direction.

"The children (Sean Preston and Jayden James) are doing great â€" that's the key," Kaplan also said. "That's what all of this is about."
