If Britney Spears is feeling like she's being pushed out of the spotlight by younger, more talented artists, you wouldn't know it. In fact, she's quick to praise them.

The inger made a comeback earlier this year with her Femme Fatale album, and is glad to have "competition" from new young artists such as Jessie J and Adele.

They push her to "make her songs and live shows better" she says.

She told Stylist magazine: "It's cool there are so many new, up-and-coming artists to look at and be inspired by. I think it's great to have a little competition."

"I feel it inspires [Team Britney] and makes us better. There are so many soulful singers, even ones from London, like Adele and Jessie J, who are just amazing."

"It feels like a really cool time to be making music now."

It's also just a cool time to be Britney Spears, in general.

"As the years have gone by, I've evolved as an artist," said the soon-to-be 30-year-old, who's been at this since 1998. "I've put even more into my career."

"After that amount of time you start to know exactly what you want. You feel a little bit more in your skin, in terms of who you are. And that feels really nice."

Pauly D is hitting on tour with Britney Spears again.

And this time, reality show cameras will document it!

The Jersey Shore star was Britney Spears' opening act for a few shows back in August, a great gig if you can get it, as her opening acts often end up in positions like this:

Sources say Pauly D will be rejoining Bri for the final show of her Femme Fatale tour, Dec. 10 in Puerto Rico ... after which she may get engaged to Jason Trawick.

Okay, that's just us speculating. But this much is fact: Pauly will be bringing along a crew from his upcoming Jersey Shore spin-off show for MTV to film the concert.

One can only imagine the shenanigans about to go down. Season Five of Jersey begins Thursday, January 5, BT-Dubs. Check out a sneak peek after the jump ...

For her Circus tour in 2009, the star made a provocative music video for Marilyn Manson's cover of the Eurythmics hit, but it was never released, until now.

Mouthing words to one of Manson's signature songs while parading around in what looks like an S&M-style orgy of sorts, this is Spears as you've never seen her.

This is dark stuff ... possibly NSFW. But if you're into this sort of thing - a scantily-clad Britney grinding on people and objects - you'll likely enjoy it.

He's dated her, he's been her confidant. He's been her agent, and even starred in a sexy Britney Spears music video. Jason Trawick is clearly here to stay.

So when will he put a ring on it?

After dating the singer for several years, Trawick is reportedly planning to propose to the pop star once her tour concludes in Puerto Rico on December 10.

She also turns 30 on December 2, another rumored date for their engagement, which sources close to the pair say is inevitable and years in the making.

"Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time. Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very long time,” a Spears family insider says.

Jason Trawick "adores her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and they are crazy about him. Jason is planning on taking Britney on a secluded getaway once the tour is wrapped, and it's very likely he will pop the question at that time.”

Legally, Britney would need her father's legal sign-off to get hitched, given that he's still the conservator of her affairs. An engagement doesn't require that, though.

Also, it's likely that her engagement would mark a natural end to the conversatorship that's been in place since 2008. Jamie Spears trusts Jason, and Britney.

Britney's family "is looking forward to the day that Jason will formally be a member of their family. Britney's mom and Jason are very close," a pal reveals.

Britney Spears was doing her thing in concert last night.

Her very sexy, VIP strip club/Cinemax-resembling thing.

The singer, who performed with Joe Jonas during the latest stop on her Femme Fatale tour at Wembley Arena in London, performed on Joe Jonas a bit later.

The pop icon has been joined by Joe for some shows as she tours the UK. Nice to see she's initiated him into the fold by wrapping her legs around Jonas' head.

Jealous much, guys? Ladies?

Maybe not as much as past years. The Daily Mail reported that Britney’s ticket sales have been sluggish and her performances "lack soul." What do you think?

Does Britney Spears still have it?

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humpries after just 72 days of marriage. Perhaps her fairy tale wedding was not what it was meant to be after all.

Or maybe it was, given who we're talking about. She made millions off her big day and E! can start looking for her next future ex-husband in the near future.

They're far from the only stars to tie the knot only to bail almost immediately, however. Where do Kim and Kris rank among the worst celebrity marriages?

In the last decade, stars like Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Murphy and Pamela Anderson (twice!) have seen unions dissolve within the same year of their nuptials.

Heck, Britney Spears tied the knot to Jason Alexander in Vegas and had it annulled 55 hours later. Time enough for him to get it in, and that's about it.

One of the shortest in recent times came when Chris Kattan wed Sunshine Tutt on June 28, 2008 ... and divorced her August 10. Terrible marriage, awesome name.

Even more recently, Tara Reid and Zack Kehayov tied the knot in August of 2011, but now she's saying it was bogus and never even legal. Weaksauce.

Pop icon Britney Spears is making headlines all over the world for her recent songs, music videos and Femme Fatale tour, but not all of them are positive.

Her trademark scandalous, skimpy costumes have earned harsh criticism from some, while her devoted fans continue to flock to the singer's every show.

One thing's for sure: This is not the Britney Spears of old.

The pop icon kicked off the UK leg of her tour in London Thursday night, showing off her ample, womanly curves in sexy bras, panties, leotards, etc.

The 29-year-old chanteuse, whose weight has fluctuated in recent years, is not shy about flaunting a slightly healthier midsection and ... other attributes.

But is she phoning it in these days? The Daily Mail reported that Britney’s ticket sales have been sluggish and that her lip synced performance at the O2 arena “lacked soul” and that there was “no real interaction between the singer and her fans.”

Does Britney Spears still have it?

A 31-year-old woman was killed when she fell from a fairground ride set up right outside Dublin's O2 arena after a Britney Spears concert there Monday.

The singer took the news particularly hard.

"I was saddened to hear of the tragic accident in Dublin. My heart goes out to the family. - Britney," Spears personally tweeted after the incident.

"We can't say [what happened], it all happened so quick," Kenneth McFadden, owner of fair operator McFadden Entertainment, told Dublin's Independent.

"We are just in bits at the moment, we are just devastated."

The woman was identified as Siobhan Healy. She reportedly fell off of a ride called the Tip Top. The National Police Service is investigating Healy's death.

Earlier in the night, fans waiting to get into the show were caught in a heavy downpour that prompted severe weather warnings to be issued countywide.

Britney Spears performed in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Tuesday and will play two shows in London this weekend as her Femme Fatale tour rolls through Europe.

With overt sexuality reminiscent of her days of yore and some gun violence to boot, Britney Spears' "Criminal" music video is being red flagged all over the Internet.

She's already been criticized by various groups for the armed robbery scene, and you can bet that the domestic violence at the beginning will spark more debate.

And then there's the shower sex. With her boyfriend, Jason Trawick.

All we can say is the PTC is going to have a field day cranking out letters about this one, and YouTube may have to hire more moderators to field the complaints.

Britney Spears’ controversial “Criminal” music video, which features the singer robbing a store with boyfriend Jason Trawick, has just been released!

The 29-year-old, who just passed 10 million Twitter fans, wrote:

“Ladies & gents, I’m excited to present to you the music video for Criminal, one of my favorite songs off of Femme Fatale. Enjoy!”

We particularly enjoyed the shots of Brit in the shower. Yowza.

“Criminal” was shot in London and directed by Chris Marrs Piliero, who also did Britney's “I Wanna Go” video. She's been criticized for the violence depicted in the “Criminal” video, which you can watch and share your comments on right here:
