He is ... a random, normal-seeming guy named David.

No surname for now. Just David. That's all we've got.

UPDATE, 2/22/13: It's David Lucado!

David Lucado works for a law firm, but he's not a lawyer. He does "field research," according to TMZ. He is 27 and is clearly not wealthy. Just ... regular.

Not the worst thing, given her history.

While not nearly as catchy as the original, it doesn't lack for hip hop star power. Or Britney Spears and her British accent in a very short leather number.

Yesterday, Eve courted controversy when she suggested that Britney does not actually appear on the song, a claim her camp vehemently denied.

Is that really Spears singing her part?

Britney Spears' collab with will.i.am doesn't sound anything like any other Britney song ... something Eve attributes to the theory that it's not actually her.

Yes, "Scream & Shout" is sung by an impostor, she insinuated.

"I heard it might not be Britney," Eve told Bravo's Andy Cohen when asked what she thought of the song. "That's what I heard, but you know, I don't know."

"It could be Britney. But I heard it wasn't."

Britney spears is hyping her upcoming "Scream & Shout (Remix)" music video with will.i.am, premiering this Friday, February 15 on BET's 106 & Park.

"Here's a tiny taste," she Tweeted. "Bring the action!"

The image features Spears with her blonde hair pulled into a tight, high ponytail, rocking a leather sports bra and a sexy cut-out Adidas track jacket.

The "Scream & Shout" remix of Spears' collaboration with will.i.am features new verses from Diddy, Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka Flame and Hit-Boy.

Britney Spears' new dog has made her debut on Twitter.

Less than three months after the newly-single pop star introduced her puppy Hannah to the world, along comes another cute canine to join her family.

"Say good morning to my new baby people," she wrote:

Will the new pup also get a Twitter account like Hannah, whose page bio reads, "I'm Britney's Bitch" (seriously)? Only Britney Spears' free time will tell.

Earlier this week, Dave Grohl said Brit looks dead inside. Agree?

Dave Grohl burned Britney Spears last night on Chelsea Lately - which he's guest hosting, amusingly - after she was reportedly passed over for a Las Vegas residency.

Instead of Brit, a prominent Vegas conglomerate allegedly went with a hypnotist, which the Foo Fighters frontman found particularly amusing:

Grohl, who's filling in for Handler in the week leading up to Sunday's Grammys, said of Britney, "She just kinda seems dead inside, like there's nothing behind her eyes."

"Like there's nothing in her boobs anymore!"

On Sunday, the pop star, appearing a little worse for the wear, was spotted outside the Barkley Pet Hotel with her two sons - and an adorable new dog!

Brit's pups and kids are cute, but her outfit? Not so much. The singer, who recently split with fiance Jason Trawick, looks to have just emerged from bed.

This after Justin Timberlake's Spears insult (which he denies), too. Rough.

It's official. Britney Spears is no longer wearing her engagement ring.

Or a lot of fabric around the side of her chest, for that matter.

The newly single pop star was spotted out in public in L.A., showing off her newly ring-less finger ... and showing Jason Trawick what he's missing!

Brit's loose-fitting peach dress left just enough to the imagination as she exited her car. One hopes this isn't a sign of how she's coping with the split.

After all, her breakup with Kevin Federline resulted in some of the most revealing Britney Spears photos ever ... and later a severe breakdown.

Here's hoping it's a fluke.

A bidding war has erupted in Las Vegas over the services of the newly-single Britney Spears, who is ready to relocate to Sin City for a regular gig.

The price tag? Not small.

Three Las Vegas properties are trying to snag her as their headliner. She'd perform several nights a week and make appearances at clubs and events.

Despite reports that the pop superstar had already signed with Caesar's, two other properties have thrown their hat in the ring. It's a biddin' war, y'all!

Who will win out? Probably whomever coughs up the most money and the best terms for Brit, who's reportedly seeking a $200 million, two-year contract.

Girl's already got bank. She may soon break it.

Looks like the Britney split rumors were true all along.

The pop megastar's breakup with Jason Trawick was a long time coming - and it actually went down quietly and privately weeks before their public statement.

Britney once foresaw in a fairy-tale ending for herself and Trawick, who popped the question in December 2011. But by late 2012, she was no longer wearing her ring.

"Britney spent Christmas with [sons] Preston and Jayden. Jason was around for parts of it, but it was very obvious that they were not together anymore," a source says.
