A newly sober Britney Spears showed up to her dance class on Friday in good spirits... and sporting blue-tinted contacts instead of her regular brown eyes. At least she's still a wigger. Anyway, check out the photo comparison below...

Center Stage

We're not sure how we feel about the blue eyes... though we do prefer her new look as a whole over some of her old ones. At least she's not knocked up or bald, right?

Right. Also, TMZ reports that Britney Spears lost more than her baby browns in rehab. The pop princess dropped 10 pounds during her stay at Promises, and got her bad self buff - and buffed, thanks to spa treatments.

The rehab clinic allowed Cue Ball to be treated to several spa treatments that included skin cleansing, helping release toxins from her system.

We've been told that Britney's made a real and significant turnaround since she checked in to the Malibu rehab facility. Whether or not Jason Filyaw or Kevin Federline are responsible for that, we can't say.

But we're glad to see our girl on the mend.

Making her first public appearance since rehab, Britney Spears took a dance class and enjoyed a sushi dinner with her girlfriends.

Spears took a one-hour hip-hop class at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood - this after lying low since checking out of rehab at Malibu's Promises treatment facility on Tuesday.

Wearing nude fishnet stockings with dance boots, black hot pants, a black shirt and a baseball cap over a wig, Spears rolled in with her bitch assistant and bodyguards to take an advanced-level hip-hop class with instructor Darrien Henning.

"The minute she walked in, she basically lit up the room," Henning said. "I had no idea she was coming, so I was shocked."

Surprisingly, Jason Filyaw did not accompany her.

Spears, whom Henning described as looking "fantastic," quietly took a spot in the back of the about 30-person class at the studio's "Dome."

"She did the choreography really well," Henning said, adding, "In fact, she came in and nailed it."

Just like Isaac Cohen did a few months back. Eh?

And the pop star's presence in class seemed to serve as an inspiration: "All my students tried harder to get on their game," Henning said.

Hopefully her stretch of going clubbing commando late last year inspire a whole host of celebs to get on their game in that regard, as well.

Returning to the studio is a homecoming of sorts for Spears, says Millennium Dance Complex owner Robert Baker, who counts Spears as one of his star clients.

"She also comes in to scope talent," he said. "More than once she's hired our teachers to choreograph for her."

We wonder if Brian Friedman is employed there.

Spears then headed to Bel Air fusion Japanese eatery SHU Sushi House Unico to meet up with three girlfriends at around 10 p.m. The four women dined at a table near a window at the front of the restaurant.

Upon leaving, Spears smiled at waiting photographers and gave a friendly wave before heading home alone at about 11:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Spears made another outing - this one presumably not as much fun. She paid a visit to a hospital to see a dentist, her rep says.

But it's nothing serious, says the rep: "At worst, it's a toothache."

At least it's a real problem, unlike made-up nonsense like hypoglycemia.

Yeah, yeah. We know. She's still beautiful on the inside. Always. That's what we want little Sean Preston and Jayden James to know as they grow up in this cruel world.

But come on. Do you prefer the Cue Ball of 2007 to these amazing Britney Spears photos of yesteryear? Yeah. Didn't think so. As much as troubled chicks in detox really turn us on, we long for the good ol' days...

Egyptian Goddess

We still love our girl. That won't change. But you can't deny that she's fallen off the iconic pedestal somewhat. A look at these Britney pics will tell you that.

Long before all the ex-husbands (Jason Alexander, K-Fed), one-night stands (J.R. Rotem) all-night sex romps (Isaac Cohen), sex tape rumors, crotch shots, hard core drug binges, uncontrollable rage, manic depression, possible insanity and head shaving, there was the incomparable goddess that was Britney Spears.

We just miss it, okay?

Let the party countdown begin.

Britney Spears has finished her stint in rehab and has left the facility.

Britney Down Under

"[Britney Spears] has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after successfully completing their program," said her terrible manager, Larry Rudolph, Tuesday.

A friend says the 25-year-old pop star "is doing fine."

She voluntarily checked herself into Promises on February 20 after a sweet weekend of hard partying in which she shaved her head.

She briefly left the program the next day - only to return when estranged husband Kevin Federline threatened a custody battle over their two sons.

Since then, Spears has attended AA meetings, though her stay in rehab was shorter than most. A typical stint at Promises is 45 days.

Federline has visted her in rehab several times with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, most recently last weekend, and has been super supportive of her recovery.

Spears has custody of the boys with visitation rights for Federline. While she was in rehab, Kevin Federline took care of the kids with help from his mom and Spears' mom, Lynne.

We suspect Britney's first stop on her way out of the clinic was 7-Eleven, where she picked up a 40-ounce bottle of St. Ides, a bag of pork rinds and a tasty mayonnaise sandwich. Then it's off to elope with Jason Filyaw.

Just kidding. We're pulling for her. Hard.

Others rooting for Spears' recovery include actor Daniel Baldwin, actress Brooke Shields (who told Access Hollywood that she'd be available to talk to the singer anytime) and music producer/rapper Timbaland.

When it comes to bringing sexyback, Justin Timberlake is not one to leave anything in the bag. But when dishing on his exes, he's a model of class and restraint.

Asked what he thinks about Britney Spears' recent ups and downs, JT tells Details in its April issue simply that: "We had our thing, and it's over."

Jayden Wants Attention

He didn't say whether he wrote his rehabbing ex a heartfelt letter, but as we've seen from his diplomatic comments about Brit's shaved head, he's definitely still in her corner. He and Timbaland may even collaborate with her in the future.

Timberlake won't comment at all about Cameron Diaz, whom he dated for nearly four years after Spears, and who he broke up with in January.

Instead, he slams the tabloids that, he says, "create soap operas out of people's lives." Seriously, guys, back the hell off.

Timberlake doesn't want to fuel speculation about Scarlett Johansson or any of the other special people in his life, past and present:

"I would never say anything bad about anyone," he says. "I love a lot of those people."

When it comes to discussing his music, however, Timberlake is more forthcoming.

About his first solo album, Justified, he says:

"I tried so hard to be an R&B artist, and it was pop album of the year, and I was like, f--k. That's the last thing I wanted.' But I was like, 'So everyone considers me a pop artist? Well, f--k it. I'm going to do whatever I want to do."

He's certainly full of surprises. But one thing he wishes he could take back was "My Grammy Moment" during the February awards show, when a contest winner (Robyn Troup) got to perform alongside him.

But, though he wanted to cancel the appearance, Timberlake didn't.

"Because I'm the nice guy who follows through on the things he commits to. But I don't know if I'll be going through that sort of thing again. I feel like the Grammys used me for ratings. And look at it... they were up 18 percent."

It's easy to see why. His talent is light years beyond anyone on American Idol.

Our counterparts at TMZ have learned Britney Spears will indeed be leaving rehab this week, and sources say the troubled pop princess has made one of the most "amazing" turnarounds in celebrity memory.

Sources say Britney Spears and her soon-to-be official ex, Kevin Federline, had an "amazing meeting" on Sunday. They are not only getting along, they are hammering out the terms of custody.

B. Spears Bikini Pic

We're told when Britney Spears gets out, she and Kevin have agreed to a 50/50 split with custody of their two children, Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden James, 5 months.

The plan is for Britney to eventually gain primary custody and Kevin will have visitation. No word on whether Brit and Jason Filyaw are engaged.

Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney's sister, and Britney's mom, Lynne Spears, have been at Kevin's house helping with the kids while Britney has been getting her own kind of help in rehab.

And that help is reportedly working. We're told she has literally turned her life around. What do you think? Is our girl Cue Ball gonna make it?

Tara Conner isn't the only one fighting to stay sober. With Britney Spears' discharge date looming, the question remains: Is she ready to leave rehab?

Us Weekly asked Clare Waismann, an addiction specialist and director of the Waismann Method, to find out if the singer is ready to make a fresh start.

Britney Spears in Wax

Us: Once Britney Spears leaves her rehab facility, what are some of the next steps required for a successful recovery?
CW: "I believe that she's going to need a wonderful psychiatrist who can chemically balance her. [I think] Britney has a long history of depression that has been misdiagnosed."

THG NOTE: Isaac Cohen called that one!

Us: If depression is the issue, what would a doctor recommend?
CW: "Keep her on a great anti-depressant and make sure her hormone level is stable. Because of all of her diets, pregnancies and her depression, she seems completely imbalanced."

THG NOTE: Was it the shaved head or the unrelenting, uncontrollable rage that gave it away?

Us: Recently Kevin Federline has stepped up to the plate and assumed the supportive father role. How important is he as a support system?
CW: "He's supporting her as a father [to Sean Preston and Jayden James] and a husband and that's the best support she can get right now."

Us: How long does it typically take someone in Britney Spears' situation to get back on track?
CW: "It could take six months to a year. This time she will be very frail, not just mentally but chemically as well. Her body the last three years has gone through ups and downs with pregnancies and diets and divorces. All those things can cause chemical imbalances. She needs probably a year away from everything and everybody so she can at least stabilize herself."

Us: Speaking from your experiences, do you think she has much of a chance of relapse? Or will she be able to turn her life around and have the career she once had?
CW: "She's got to stay away from the business for a while to find herself. It's going to take a lot of intervention from her family, who are her biggest supporters right now."

THG NOTE: What about Jason Filyaw?

Us: Is she more prone to relapse because she's a public figure?
CW: "Absolutely."

Us: How would you advise someone in her situation to move forward?
CW: "Her best bet for the next year is just living a very mellow and motherly life."

To think we've been saying this for six months - and the T.H. Gossip staff is not comprised of psychologists or "addiction specialists." Although we do have some experience with addiction... looking at Rachel Bilson photos.

Everyone wants Britney Spears to get well.

That includes Justin Timberlake, who, according to Life & Style Weekly, sent his troubled ex-girlfriend a touching get-well letter while she's away in rehab.

Britney in Sweden

He reportedly previously called her a week after she checked into Promises. The heartfelt letter moved the mother of Sean Preston and Jayden James to tears. Justin promised that he would be there for her when she got out.

A source said:

"She could barely catch her breath to read the words. It was one of the most moving letters she had ever received. He poured his heart out. He told her he was sorry they fell in love so young, because if they'd fallen in love even just a few years later, he would've married her - and they'd probably have kids together by now. Justin let Britney know that she has his unconditional love and support. He offered to visit her in rehab."

This sounds so beautiful. Too bad it's almost certainly fake. Come on. We believe Justin (and his boy Timbaland) wish Britney the best, and we know Britney longs for him. But JT his heart out about marriage? Somehow we doubt it.

The girl is bald, after all. No one likes that.

And she's possibly dating Jason Filyaw.

Aside from die-hard fans of his band, RIVA, few people know Jason Filyaw all that well. That's why The Gossip is proud to bring you a new Jason Filyaw picture sent to us by a fan - looks like he rocks out pretty darn hard!

Britney in Pajamas

Whether or not Jason Filyaw and Britney Spears are romantically involved or just friends remains to be seen, but TMZ has talked to Filyaw and confirmed a relationship of some sorts between the two, who originally met back in 2003.

Sources say they've recently reconnected and gotten closer - so much so that Britney Spears calls him constantly? The photo at right has surfaced of a woman resembling the troubled star making a phone call at a gas station.

Hitting up gas stations and fast food joints is definitely one of Spears' top pastimes (minus assaulting photographers, of course) and she's allowed to leave rehab for AA meetings and such. But we can't tell if it's her. What do you think?

Britney Spears needs your support.

On her official website, the pop star asks fans to "send your thoughts and inspiration" via email as she continues her struggles in rehab. See below...

Shopping in a Nightie

Yowza. Not sure who this hot chick is, but regardless, as you can see by visiting Britney's cyber-home, her concerned, loving fans are pouring in the support from all corners of the globe, showering the blonde wigger with positive messages like:

  • "Relax and don't rush yourself."
  • "We are here for as long as it takes for you to get better."
  • "Say hi to Jason Filyaw for me."

Okay, just kidding about the last one.

While the site is displaying some of the more inspirational messages on the home page, there's no guarantee your letter will be posted on the site. The confirmation just says that Britney's "team" (which we assume consists of Jayden James and Larry Rudolph) will review and consider it for posting:

Oh well. At least they don't ask you to foot the bill.
