Britney Spears Covers V Magazine, Looks Sensual
Britney Spears is getting back in touch with her sensual side.
Not that it's unusual for the singer to dress in a risque manner or pose seductively, but it's been awhile since she's been on the cover of a magazine.
That all changes today, with the release of the Spring issue of V Magazine. Britney is featured in an extensive fashion spread. Here's the lead image:
Spears, whose new album, Femme Fatale, drops March 29, talks about navigating her fame as a mom who's pushing 30 with two sons who are now 5 and 4.
Asked if she's more guarded today, she replies: "A little bit."
"I think it's easier to let people in when you're young, but when I became a mother I wanted privacy for myself and my children. A life away from my life."
Still, with Femme Fatale, she promises that at least musically, "The b-tch is back and better than ever!" Here's another of V's Britney Spears pictures ...

Team Britney Sues Bellamy Brothers, Alleges "Hold It Against Me" Smear Campaign
Backed by a whole team of attorneys and ready to strike back early and often, Britney Spears is not high on the list of celebrities you should slander.
Just some free advice there. Perhaps the Bellamy Brothers should have heeded this before claiming she ripped off "Hold It Against Me" from them.
Britney's songwriter Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald just filed a federal lawsuit accusing the Bellamy Brothers of a "smear campaign" against Spears.
The group says Brit's hit, written by Dr. Luke, is a knockoff of their 1979 song,"If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me?"
Gottwald says the Brothers' attack was "a publicity stunt aimed to increase their record sales ... and to combat their dwindling relevance." Burn.
In addition to damages for defamation, Dr. Luke wants a court order stating once and for all Britney's song has nothing to do with the BB's song.
Seems to THG that Britney has just as much right to use a lame pickup line in her song lyrics as they do. Jerks. Here's the song in question:
Cellulite on Fight With Britney Spears: WINNING!
Charlie Sheen would approve of the job cellulite is doing here.
Just look at these Kate Gosselin, Heidi Montag and Britney Spears pictures. Time to hit the gym, ladies! Star Magazine is flat-out shaming you all here!
We kid. There's nothing wrong with cellulite, as it beats unnecessary plastic surgery. Kim Kardashian would surely agree ... then shill for QuickTrim.
Anyway, here's Star's latest cover, which won't win the celeb gossip rag any points for originality, but at least won't get them sued for $50 million:
LOSERS: Sorry, Heidi, Kate and Britney. Cellulite is opening a can of whoop ass on y'all. But we respect you for not getting any work done. Well, Britney at least.
Britney Spears: Pretty Much Loaded
Britney Spears has done well for herself in the last few years.
The singer's conservatorship and marketing machine have made a killing since December of 2008, when the conservators took over $2,826,362.68.
Exactly one year later, Britney's assets controlled by the conservators swelled to $27,500,000, thanks largely to Britney's wildly successful Circus Tour.
It's good to be Britney Spears. Especially on medication.
The figures are deceiving in that conservators only control a portion of Britney's total estate - namely her business expenses. She has a lot of money and property in her various trusts and other business entitites the conservators do not control.
Basically, she's even richer than that figure indicates.
Britney Spears New Song Teaser: "I Wanna Go"
Another day, another snippet of an upcoming Britney Spears track.
If there's one thing this girl's management can do, it's create a marketing blitz. That and a product placement bonanza. Seriously, at this point in her career, Britney Spears Inc. is probably more impressive than Britney Spears the singer.
Yesterday, we heard a portion of "Inside Out" from her forthcoming album Femme Fatale. Now, here's your first mini-listen of "I Wanna Go" ...
Britney Spears Music Video: A Giant Corporate Shill
Proving she's a corporate drone first and a singer second, Britney Spears Inc. made $500,000 for product placements in her "Hold It Against Me" video.
This isn't to say that product placement is unique to Britney, but it seems like she's more about the marketing and less about the music these days.
The most obvious example in the video is Plentyoffish (dot) com, an online dating site that coughed up "a couple hundred thousand" to be featured ...

Would you hold it against her for making her video a giant ad?
Of course, they saw immediate results, to the tune of a 20 percent spike in traffic the day after the Britney Spears music video premiered.
That was far from the only such case, too. Check out the video after the jump and see how many blatant product shots you can spot ...
