Bristol Palin is, predictably, receiving a swift and solid Twitter smackdown after speaking out against President Barack Obama's support of gay marriage.

Palin said, in short, that heterosexuals make better parents, Obama is a pushover who lets kids script his policy statements, and Glee might make you gay.

Shortly after writing her blog post ripping Obama, Bristol's hearing about it.

A few comments directed at the unwed 21-year-old mother, who says "in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home," are as follows:

JWoww: "Bristol should keep her uneducated ignorant mouth shut... If Ur living in the past u wouldn't have a kid w/out marriage #hypocrite. It's 2012!"

"My best friend will get married one day and not just have civil union with his man. Stop hating people," added the outspoken Jersey Shore star.

Sherri Shepherd: "Sara Palin educated Bristol... and not blaming Bristol, but I'm blaming Bristol being young & not excercising good judgment."

Samantha Ronson: "'We know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home.' really bristol palin? how's your kid doing?"

Apparently President Obama's support for gay marriage, which he announced yesterday, does not sit well with Bristol Palin. Nor does the Fox hit Glee.

In an anti-gay marriage blog post aimed at Obama's first statement advocating same-sex marriage rights, Sarah Palin's daughter does not hold back.

In short, Bristol feels Barack is a stupid man, a weak leader and a bad father. Why? Because of his daughters' role in his evolving gay marriage stance.

The President of the United States

"While it’s great to listen to your kids’ ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads," says the 21-year-old spawn of Sarah.

"In this case, it would’ve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage."

The unwed mother, whose baby daddy is totally MIA, continues, "As great as her friends may be – we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview."

Unless they're Levi Johnston.

Meghan McCain, daughter of U.S. Senator and 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, poses for Playboy this month. Innocently, of course.

Her mere presence in the men's mag (and some of the quotes she gave in an interview with it) are sure to raise eyebrows, but this one pic is it. Sorry.

Meghan revealed to Playboy that she “almost overdosed on Xanax” the day before the 2008 election, and dismissed any rumors that she is gay.

Using an obscene rhyme, Meghan, a same-sex marriage advocate, said was “strictly d!ckly” (straight), adding: “I can’t help it. I love sex and I love men.”

Meghan McCain Playboy Pic

Shifting her focus elsewhere, Meghan McCain told Playboy that a memoir written by Bristol Palin, Sarah’s daughter known for her teen pregnancy, was a “total lie.”

At the WHCA dinner, Bristol “totally took off” when she saw Meghan across the room, lest Bristol be confronted about the book's remarks on the McCain family.

In Not Afraid of Life, Bristol dings Meghan and mom Cindy McCain for having “so much Louis Vuitton luggage, so many cell phones, so many helpers," etc.

Bristol Palin also writes of Meghan McCain that after their first meeting in 2008, she had the “sneaking suspicion that I might need to watch my back.”

Levi Johnston is running his mouth again. This time, the occasion is his book tour (yes, we're serious) for Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs.

While there are no bombshells quite up there with a Sarah Palin-Glen Rice tryst, Levi does reveal more than Alaska's most famous family would ever want him to.

Some excerpts from a recent interview he gave about the book:

Levi Johnston Book Cover

On the prospect of a Palin presidency: "'President Palin' is a phrase that scares me. She is apparently only 5 percent behind Obama right now and that's frightening me. I'm figuring I might have to move to Canada if she wins."

On his baby mama's book: "I didn't read Bristol's book (Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far). I heard a lot of things out of it, as far as "I'm a gnat" and how I stole her virginity. Her book is just flat out lying, it's disgusting."

Levi Johnston has fallen off the radar a bit lately.

Not that we're up in arms about it, just observing. In any event, it looks like his sister, Mercede Johnston, is picking up the Sarah Palin-bashing slack.

In an interview with Playboy, which will feature Mercede Johnston nude next month, choice comments about Levi's almost in-laws are abundant

  • Mercede Johnston Image
  • Mental Breakdown

Asked what kind of president Sarah Palin would be, she responded: "I think she'd have had a mental breakdown ... As governor she quit on us." Burn.

"What does that say about her?" Mercede asked, noting that a majority of residents of Wasilla, Alaska "can't stand Palin ... I would say 70 percent."

Mercede claims the Palins are so polarizing in the town - where Sarah was once mayor, and where Levi is running for mayor - that she can't work.

"It's hard to get a job because of the Palins ... People say, 'Oh, Mercede Johnston, I don't know if people are going to come in if she works here.'"

Regarding Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, Mercede claims Bristol sent a brutal text to her boyfriend after she found out she was pregnant ...

Teenagers need to prevent pregnancy to begin with -- this isn't ideal. But I'm fortunate to have a supportive family, which is dealing with this together.
