After a performance that left her in the bottom two with The Situation, Bristol Palin says she is physically and emotionally exhausted by trying to juggle her preparations for Dancing With the Stars and the responsibility of being a mother.

Never far from controversy or the spotlight, Bristol Palin was spotted at an Alaska bar last week while rehearsing and taping a segment for Dancing With the Stars.
The 19-year-old's excuse for being there all comes down to ... nachos.
A segment Bristol taped for DWTS inside Rumrunner's Old Towne Bar and Grill Thursday sparked a state investigation (seriously). But Bristol should be fine.

"The place is also a restaurant ... so under 21 is allowed under Alaska law if she is accompanied by a person over 21, which she was," says a Palin source.
Bristol was with partner Mark Ballas, 24, during the segment, and moreover, the source is adamant that "Bristol had nachos only," which TMZ's pics support.
So far, the Alaska Department of Public Safety has no comment on the matter, but if it's a bona fide restaurant, and she was there to eat, what's the big deal?
We can't believe we're saying this, but ... leave Bristol alone!!!!!! You can boo Sarah Palin all you like, but let the girl enjoy some nachos in peace ... right?
Dancing With the Stars must not have much faith in Bristol Palin.
In her tangoin' talents, anyway. Usually, DWTS producers save the big ratings guns for the end of the season, but a very special segment on Bristol and her famous family connections looks to be airing this coming Monday night.

Hot off their successful debut (hey, The Hoff was hassled instead of her), Bristol and partner Mark Ballas are currently in Wasilla, Alaska, for a little practice ... and a little pre-taped, star-studded filming to air prior to their performance.
We have a hunch who might be appearing on that footage. Just a hunch.

The highlight of the Dancing With the Stars premiere - to fans and Bristol Palin herself - was the revealing of her sexy dress beneath a more conservative outfit.
"That was my favorite part!" she told Us Weekly after the performance. "Leading up to it I was pretty nervous, but once I pulled the jacket off it was all good!"
Added partner Mark Ballas, "That's when things kicked in, and she was like, 'Ok, let's go!'" They scored only 16, but Len Goodman praised her "good hip action."
Wait ... wait for it ... that's what Levi Johnston said!
While Bristol and Mark cha-cha-ed, Sarah cheered from afar.
Bristol Palin said that the show's routines are difficult, but she's optimistic: "It's good we're going in the right direction, but we've still got a lot of work to do."
Ballas is "pumped because if you saw the first day to now - her improvement is crazy! She's the most improved and we are so happy. I'm really proud of her."

Her first dance, fittingly set to “Mama Told Me (Not to Come),” was like a moving tribute to the life of Bristol Palin, ambassador for teen pregnancy awareness.
Mama told her not to come. Then mama decided to pull a no-show at the last minute rather than be associated with this. Probably not the worst decision.
Meanwhile, Len Goodman had the night's best quote when he told Mike Sorrentino from Jersey Shore the following: "I'm in an awkward situation, Situation."
Awesome. While recognizing Mike's athletic potential, the judges were not particularly impressed with his initial performance, landing him in a tie for last place.
Elsewhere, David Hasselhoff busted out the buoy, Audrina Patridge looked like a seven-year-old beauty pageant contestant and Brandy and Jennifer Grey ruled.

Will Bristol Palin be good, bad or downright embarrassing on Dancing With the Stars? Sources close to her partner, Mark Ballas, say he's fearful of the latter.
Mark worries that Bristol, who canceled Tuesday's rehearsal because she's giving a speech, has been missing so many that their debut could be beyond bad.
Last week, Bristol canceled practice because her son, Tripp, was ill, which us understandable, but she was only able to practice a half day Thursday too.
