After a performance that left her in the bottom two with The Situation, Bristol Palin says she is physically and emotionally exhausted by trying to juggle her preparations for Dancing With the Stars and the responsibility of being a mother.

Somebody page Levi Johnston!

"Physically, it's exhausting. But I'm making it work," Bristol Palin told Extra after taking to the stage for a physical intimate rumba you can watch after the jump ...

Never far from controversy or the spotlight, Bristol Palin was spotted at an Alaska bar last week while rehearsing and taping a segment for Dancing With the Stars.

The 19-year-old's excuse for being there all comes down to ... nachos.

A segment Bristol taped for DWTS inside Rumrunner's Old Towne Bar and Grill Thursday sparked a state investigation (seriously). But Bristol should be fine.

"The place is also a restaurant ... so under 21 is allowed under Alaska law if she is accompanied by a person over 21, which she was," says a Palin source.

Bristol was with partner Mark Ballas, 24, during the segment, and moreover, the source is adamant that "Bristol had nachos only," which TMZ's pics support.

So far, the Alaska Department of Public Safety has no comment on the matter, but if it's a bona fide restaurant, and she was there to eat, what's the big deal?

We can't believe we're saying this, but ... leave Bristol alone!!!!!! You can boo Sarah Palin all you like, but let the girl enjoy some nachos in peace ... right?

Dancing With the Stars must not have much faith in Bristol Palin.

In her tangoin' talents, anyway. Usually, DWTS producers save the big ratings guns for the end of the season, but a very special segment on Bristol and her famous family connections looks to be airing this coming Monday night.

How do we know? Twitter Exhibit A:

Sarah Palin Tweets a photo of herself with Mark Ballas.

Hot off their successful debut (hey, The Hoff was hassled instead of her), Bristol and partner Mark Ballas are currently in Wasilla, Alaska, for a little practice ... and a little pre-taped, star-studded filming to air prior to their performance.

We have a hunch who might be appearing on that footage. Just a hunch.

The highlight of the Dancing With the Stars premiere - to fans and Bristol Palin herself - was the revealing of her sexy dress beneath a more conservative outfit.

"That was my favorite part!" she told Us Weekly after the performance. "Leading up to it I was pretty nervous, but once I pulled the jacket off it was all good!"

Added partner Mark Ballas, "That's when things kicked in, and she was like, 'Ok, let's go!'" They scored only 16, but Len Goodman praised her "good hip action."

Wait ... wait for it ... that's what Levi Johnston said!

While Bristol and Mark cha-cha-ed, Sarah cheered from afar.

Bristol Palin said that the show's routines are difficult, but she's optimistic: "It's good we're going in the right direction, but we've still got a lot of work to do."

Ballas is "pumped because if you saw the first day to now - her improvement is crazy! She's the most improved and we are so happy. I'm really proud of her."

So where was Sarah Palin last night?

Sarah Palin should've been there.

When Bristol Palin took the stage on the season premiere of Dancing With the Stars in a flight attendant’s uniform that she promptly tore off during the opening moments of Monday's show to cha cha cha in a provocative red dress underneath?

Speechless. Just incredible stuff.

Her first dance, fittingly set to “Mama Told Me (Not to Come),” was like a moving tribute to the life of Bristol Palin, ambassador for teen pregnancy awareness.

Mama told her not to come. Then mama decided to pull a no-show at the last minute rather than be associated with this. Probably not the worst decision.

Meanwhile, Len Goodman had the night's best quote when he told Mike Sorrentino from Jersey Shore the following: "I'm in an awkward situation, Situation."

Awesome. While recognizing Mike's athletic potential, the judges were not particularly impressed with his initial performance, landing him in a tie for last place.

Elsewhere, David Hasselhoff busted out the buoy, Audrina Patridge looked like a seven-year-old beauty pageant contestant and Brandy and Jennifer Grey ruled.

They may read like something the THG staff made up, but these spoilers for tomorrow night's Dancing With the Stars premiere are legitimate and pretty classic.

Monday's most shocking debut, from Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, will be a Cha Cha Cha set to the music of Three Dog Night's "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)."

LOLOLOL. Levi? You listening man?

  • Hot Running Mom!

Sarah might want to run away from tomorrow's performance ...

That would be hilarious enough, but apparently during the dance, Bristol Palin will rip off "tear-away clothes" as her mother, Sarah Palin, sits in the audience.

What a tremendous ambassador for abstinence and teen pregnancy prevention.

This could be amazing stuff. For every routine set to take place Monday, follow the jump for our full list of tomorrow night's Dancing With the Stars spoilers ...

Will Bristol Palin be good, bad or downright embarrassing on Dancing With the Stars? Sources close to her partner, Mark Ballas, say he's fearful of the latter.

Mark worries that Bristol, who canceled Tuesday's rehearsal because she's giving a speech, has been missing so many that their debut could be beyond bad.

Last week, Bristol canceled practice because her son, Tripp, was ill, which us understandable, but she was only able to practice a half day Thursday too.

Maybe not. Other sources say Bristol Palin has been making solid progress and will continue pushing herself hard until the first live TV show September 20.

It's only Dancing With the Stars, too.

If she's terrible, we've likely seen worse over the previous 10 seasons. Besides, an early ouster just means more time to launch her run for mayor of Wasilla.

Dancing With the Stars' Bristol Palin says she wants to set a good example on the hit program for all the moms out there. But is she doing the opposite?

The teen mom, who just broke off her second engagement with Levi Johnston, plans to balance motherhood and work, far away from home in Alaska.

“I’m not the first mom to participate on Dancing with the Stars [but] I want to set a good example for all of the amazing moms out there,” she said.

Bristol Palin was good at moving her hips when Levi Johnston was around - if you know what we're talkin' about! - but how will she fare on Dancing With the Stars?

The 19-year-old, a member of the new Dancing With the Stars cast unveiled last night, says her challenge will be "showing my personality and moving my hips!"

THG NOTE: We were talkin' about those hips clamped down on Levi's Johnston! Then, nine months later, helping to bear his offspring! Okay, moving on now.

"I just wanted to do it because it's so fun," Bristol said. "It's so positive and it's a good competition. I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and have a good time."

Her mom, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, was supportive as well: "She's always been my No. 1 fan. Of course, she'll be here [cheering me on]."

Dancing With the Stars was already quietly amassing a solid roster for its upcoming 11th season, but now it's truly outdone itself - Bristol Palin is on board!

Yes, Sarah Palin's 19-year-old daughter, famous only because Levi Johnston knocked her up in 2008, has joined Dancing With the Stars, which premieres Sept. 20.

David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, The Situation and Brandy are said to be in as well, and possibly Ali Fedotowsky, Roberto Martinez and Kirstie Alley.

Bristol Palin and the rest of the Dancing With the Stars cast will be unveiled officially during Bachelor Pad next Monday. Are you excited that she's going to be on it?

We don't know why we're surprised, but ... Bristol Palin?! Seriously? And he thought her Secret Life appearance was unscrupulously milking her fame.

At this point, even her ardent fans must admit this is a bit much. We know she's getting paid and supporting her son, but does it set a bad example?

Is there a way to put the usual "positive teen role model" spin on this one? You tell us: Is Bristol going on DWTS right or wrong?
