Bristol Palin has signed a deal with an imprint of HarperCollins to publish her memoir, Not Afraid of Life. It will provide "an inside look at her life."

That life has been ... well, interesting.

According to the publisher, Bristol Palin "gives readers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at her life for the first time, from growing up in Alaska to coming of age amid a media and political frenzy surrounding her mother's political rise."

"From becoming a single mother while still a teenager to coping as her relationship with her baby's father crumbled publicly - not once, but twice."

HarperCollins has published two bestsellers by her famous mom, Sarah Palin, the GOP V.P. candidate in 2008: Going Rogue and America by Heart.

Bristol Palin, 20, has gone on to be a celebrity in her own right, through her broken relationship with Levi Johnston, and through Dancing With the Stars.

Bristol Palin For President?

On Sarah Palin's presidential hopes: "I think she would be a wonderful president, and I think she should run. She's so common-sense conservative."

"She brings a whole 'nother aspect to politics because she's a mom, because she runs a household, and I just think she's really smart."

On her own aspirations to run for office: "If I saw something that needed to be changed, I would step up to the plate and do something about it."

On the "haters" who try to keep her family down: "I feel like for every one or two haters out there, there are 20 more people that support us."

"So it doesn't really affect me when people say negative things about me or my family, but I just hope that nobody else has to go through that."

Giacinto “Gino” Paoletti is Bristol Palin's new boyfriend.

Not only that, but Gino, a former high school classmate, is the ex of Levi Johnston's sister, Mercede Johnston! Hey, it's Alaska. Not a lot of options around.

"She may have everyone else fooled, but Bristol gets around," Mercede told Star in an exclusive interview, totes outing Palin's mysterious new boyfriend.

This is Bristol's new BF Gino Paoletti. That's her ex-fiance's sister. Crazy!

"They would hook up, but they never officially dated until now," Mercede Johnston explains of her nephew's mom, with whom she's apparently not close.

In January, Bristol, along with Tripp, her 2-year-old son with Levi Johnston, moved into a five-bedroom pad in Maricopa, Ariz. Gino now calls it home, too.

Bristol Palin might want to reconsider playing house, warns Mercede: “I got to know the real Gino, and that wasn’t pleasant," she says, ominously.

Maybe the next time we report in this strange, quasi-incestuous love story, Gino Paoletti will be running for Deputy Mayor of Wasilla on Levi's ticket.

Bristol Palin's sex life is a common topic of discussion on celebrity gossip websites. Washington University students don't want to hear about it, though.

At least not in person, for a hefty fee.

The Dancing With the Stars finalist was dropped from a planned February speaking engagement at the St. Louis college following student protests.

Bristol Palin, who got pregnant at 17, was invited by the Student Health Advisory Committee to talk abstinence during Student Sexual Responsibility Week.

But after the student body protested the use of student-generated money to fund her reportedly several thousand dollar fee, her appearance was called off.

"People are angry because of the opposition to Palin's lack of expertise and the high cost she charges," said student Philip Thomas, who started the protest.

Bristol Palin has a new boyfriend.

What his name is and what he looks like, we have no idea. Yet. No idea YET. We know that's the only reason you're here, but chill. Give it a few hours.

Asked on KWHL's The Bob & Mark Show if she's really dating the 20-year-old Alaska pipeline worker, she said, "Are you guys getting personal with me, really?"

The hosts on the Anchorage-based show pushed her to just admit she has a new boyfriend, helpfully suggesting that she simple confirm this much:

"Yeah, you know what, I'm seeing a guy and he's really great and Tripp loves him and we're having a really good time and we're really good friends."

Bristol Palin laughed and said, "Yeah, we can go with that. I'm thrilled. I love the town that I live in. I love my house. Tripp's happy; he's healthy."

The house is her new five-bedroom abode in Maricopa, Ariz., she recently purchased for $172,000 and for which she "wrote a check," she says.

"It was cool. It made Dancing with the Stars worth it, for sure."

Dancing With the Stars remains enormously popular, but has it lost its luster thanks to 2010's two most notable contenders, Bristol Palin and Kate Gosselin?

The series enjoyed renewed prominence thanks to those two, but at what cost? Is it really even about celebrities learning to dance anymore? Or dancing?

As recently as mid-2009 (amazing, we know), Kate Gosselin was just a random reality star with a bad haircut, douchebag husband and eight kids.

Has DWTS been tarnished by this tandem?

Dancing With the Stars unleashed the power of the tabloids by casting her, then upped the ante with Bristol Palin, daughter of former politician Sarah.

People came out in droves to support or tear them down. There was no middle ground between them supporting their kids or being absentee moms.

They got as far as they did by being on the front of tabloids, becoming TV personalities that divided people and generating massive controversy.

Bristol Palin isn't cleared to move to Arizona. Not yet, at least.

As previously reported, the single mother has purchased a home in the southwest and various signs point to her attending Arizona State. But Alaska law prevents Bristol from relocating with Tripp unless she files a motion or the child's father grants permission.

But Levi Johnston will reportedly make it easy on his former lover, as the Z-lister's rep tells TMZ: "Levi is not at all upset that Bristol is going to Arizona... After the holidays, Levi and Bristol will get together and discuss plans for Tripp."

Dancing With the Stars finalist / abstinence advocate / Facebook fiend Bristol Palin just bought a house and says that she may enroll in college nearby.

The location of said property: Maricopa, Arizona.

The $172,000 Arizona home Bristol Palin just paid for in cash has five bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 3,900 square feet. The price? $172,000. Quite a deal.

So far, no word on which school the 20-year-old will be attending, but the home is just miles from Arizona State University's school of broadcasting.

Bristol has expressed an interest in broadcasting public speaking. Another fun fact: ASU declined to give Barack Obama an honorary degree in May.

He gave the commencement speech, but officials deemed that he, the President of the U.S., hadn't done enough in his career to warrant the honor.

Sounds like a good fit for Bristol. Sarah Palin? So proud.

Kathy Griffin made a crack about Bristol Palin's weight recently.

Bristol responded on cue, although not on Facebook for once.

Griffin made fun of her appearance while hosting VH1 Divas Salute the Troops Friday, calling B.P. "the only contestant in the history of the show to actually gain weight," a somewhat harsh crack that elicited booing, not laughter.

"Come on, come on. She gained like 30 pounds a week," Griffin then continued amid jeers. "I swear to God, it was fantastic. She's like the white Precious."

Wow.

Instead of devising a lengthy comeback like usual (see her gay joke at Margaret Cho), the 20-year-old kept her rebuttal short and sweet this time around.

"The audience's reaction to this 'comedian' spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too," Bristol Palin told Fox News.

"I hope people didn't pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms."

NOTE to comedians: Stop talking about the Palins and maybe they'll stop replying.

Between Bristol's run to the finals and reports that her father, Todd, may be next, many people can't get enough of the Palins on Dancing With the Stars.

One judge on the show certainly can, though.

"I think one Palin was enough," Carrie Ann Inaba told E! News, responding to Todd Palin speculation. "I think we need to go on a Palin vacation for a bit."

Palins mean ratings, but that's not enough to sway one judge.

"Although it was such great media attention, I think it was too controversial," Inaba explained. "I think people got confused about what they were rooting for"

"Are you voting for dancing on the show or are you voting for a Party? I think it made it uncomfortable for a lot of people who just want to see dancing."
