Levi Johnston is tired of getting marginalized by Bristol Palin and pushed out of his son's life, so he has filed court documents seeking 50/50 custody of Tripp.
According to Levi, he wants Tripp, 4, in his life as much as he is in Bristol's, because it's in their son's best interest. Palin currently has full custody.
Levi wants Tripp on alternating weeks. They both live in Alaska. Bristol's attorney implied that this is simply a move to reduce child support payments.
According to Bristol Palin's camp, Levi owed $66,000 in back child support as of now, and he wants to pay less. It's not clear what he owes monthly.
Levi Johnston says he's willing to pay whatever child support amount he has to, but urges the court to be fair "as I have a wife and daughter to support."
