I really think it is sad that people can be so cruel. So many want to say what is wrong with the country. This is what is wrong with the country so many cruel, judgemental people. Bristol went out and tried something new because she was asked to be on the show. She faced all the evil people with so many cruel things to say. I am sorry but all the remarks about her size are very distasteful and must be coming from uneducated people. Even if she was obese, which she is not, what does that have to do with anything? Bristol is a mediocre personality at best. McCain's last (I hope) MAJOR mistake is the ONLY reason this cow is in the limelight. What the hell is wrong with our country?? People will say she's not her mother or some such BS, but face it, she would not be on the show if not for her direct association with Palin. I really fear for this country. I have believed for some time that the USA is in its decline, but the burgeoning ignorance and literal stupidity of Americans will only precipitate our demise. We are definitely in our decline..Unless we start to regain our integrity, our morals, our perspective, and our desire to truly excel, we are doomed. Seriously? You people need a life. I am NOT political AT all and I don't like Sara Palin, but I thought Bristol was excellent. Jennifer on the other hand who has done a movie called Dirty DANCING....kinda had an unfair advantage being that she has done choreography before. Bristol literally embodied the whole meaning behind dancing with the stars...which is NO experience....and how in the f*ck does Kyle...who was cute yes...but no damn Fred Astaire...escape all this bitterness and resentment for making it to the top 3, but Bristol has to put up with all this bullshit from the low I.Q haters who don't have enough sense to be able to realize Bristol is NOT her mother!! I voted for her...as many times as it would let me...and I did it because I thought she did a GREAT job given that she has NEVER worked with a choreographer before. She's the girl next door....and she doesn't have to be Mother Theressa OR a size zero to garner respect and be liked by MILLIONS of people who voted for her!

I actually feel sorry for the little chubby girl.Of course she should have been given the boot the first week.Considers herself shy? How shy was she when she got laid and pregnant?Now, there is rumor that her 16 year old sister is pregant.Her mother should stay home and be a mother to her children!! Who knows what goes on at home while she is away. I understand that Bristal has the reputation of being a party girl and smokes dope. Her brother is also doing drugs. Is it rumor or true? Sara Palin is running around putting herself in public and probably never thinking what her children might be upto. I guess it's all about Sarah Palin! Bristol is a class act! I'm amazed at how she stood in the face of haters and adversity throughout this reality show! She did it with grace, integrity, and perseverance! For being so young, she is quite the young woman and I believe, has quite a future in front of her! What a blessing Bristol is! My guess is that more people will want to interview her now, even though she came in third place, than Jennifer! Just watch!

I continue to be appalled at what lengths Sarah Palin will go to keep herself in the forefront of the media frenzy that she has come to adore. Using her daughter as a supposed star is ridiculous and embarassing for both Bristol and her mother. Bristol is not a star, she is merely an unwed mother. Her mother is also not a star. She is merely a former governor who did not complete a full term, and who left to write books and promote herself as a political entity. This is not about being a Republican or Democrat, it's about shameless exploitation....and a show that is misnamed. I quit watching this season, and I won't be back!!

Bristol Palin has more courage and more integrity than I have seen in many adults. She should be proud of how she has turned a teenage mistake into being a responsible adult and a good mother. I have really enjoyed watching her on DWTS and can't believe how she has been able to do all that she has done. I am so tired of the judges always having a favorite and not really being fair on their scores. It would be nice if DWTS would get some new and unjudgemental judges.

I hope this season of dwts will be locked in a vault of "lost but nothing forgotten" Sure there have been other favorites who we may have thought to be better dancers. However, DWTS has gone to the limit of T.V. viewers patience with the Palin joke. This is the worst display of dancing and winning over and over again. So what if she worked hard. They all worked hard. Is this show for the most improved? Everyone would have improved if given the chance. Bristol, get over yourself. You said "there are alot of , haters" No, that's not the issue. This show had ALWAYS been about popularity. Otherwise, why would they open the phone lines during the very first dance with only one couple's number available? Then they shut down a mere 30 minutes after the last dance. Technically, if everyone were voting for the best dancer, there would be 9 or 10 (or MORE) eliminated the very first week with ZERO votes!

To make the comment on national TV (tonight) that she is not a sexy girl is just a pathetic disclaimer to explain away the reason she is missing all her dance cues and moves. It also comes across as if there is something wrong with women being sexy in their dance, and that she is somehow setting a higher example by dancing in a prudish manner. It's all very convoluted and bogged down with mixed political signals. I really think that her entire purpose for coming on the show was leading up to a point to communicate that she is an unwed mother, but she is not provocative, promiscuous, nor a "sexy dancer. It goes to the reflection of Palin upbringing- which makes the political/family statement. I suppose dancing in a cage is overlooked with regard to sexy?
