I think it's disgusting what people in this country think politics is now. Personal attacks on the daughter's of a politician is just classless, no matter what a politicians political views are. I mean, people even go after Palin's son, that has Downs Syndrome! Absolutely despicable!!!
I'm a Libertarian, so I'm not some hard-core supporter of her politics, just appalled by the way people treat this woman (not as much her, as her family). The funny thing is, these attacks generally come from the liberal side of the aisle, who claim they are such good human beings. Isn't it ironic...don't ya think?

I think it is indeed cruel and harsh of the American public to bash Bristol. when i first started watching DWTS this season I admit I didn't like Bristol or what I thought she stood for. But I came to the realization that it was just a show and there for entertainment purposes.
The real problem we should be up in arms about is the power the media has over us and our pocket books. We pay our entertainers ridiculous amounts of money to provide a service that by proxy they should be paying us to provide, and if that weren't enough we add insult to injury by exalting them on high like a bunch of demi gods genuflecting and kneeling at their feet.
