what i just noticed was a young pregnant blonde girl behind Palin at a rally. is this the pregnant daughter? she hasn't always been bleach blonde... is she dying her hair while pregnant?

First of all What BRISTOL PALIN does is what she does! She is not responsible for what her mother does or the choices that shes makes. Nor is Sarah Palin responsible for the mistakes that her daughter makes. How many of you have been 16 or 17 and lied to your parents about where you were going or what you were doing im sure alot of you and i bet if they would have known they would have been angry. In america thousands of kids get pregnant under the age of 18 but they are not publically riped apart nor talked about they way she Bristol Palin is. Bristol can not help it that her mother choose to have a public life but if you pepole dont have anything better to do becides to rip apart a 17 year old then you are no better

I went to the link that you all have been discussing and at first I thought this guy sounded really credible. But if the news in the media is correct and Bristol is due in late December, than she would have conceived sometime in April. I only point this out because I have a daughter who was born on Dec. 31st and I know the actual day I got pregnant....April 7th. So do the math and it doesn't add up. Either he is confused about the time frame or he is lying. I guess only time will tell. When she gives birth, if this is true, there wil be no doubt whether this African-American gentleman is the father or the "redneck" Levi is.

the problem here is not about her getting pregnant but the situation, Sarah Palin is a leader and supposed to be a role model but where you can't manage your home (a mini community) or instill proper values in your children then it begs the question how she wants to manage a "whole country"?

I think you are all grasping at the wrong straws. Sarah Palin is running for the second highest office in the US. Her view on pre-maritial sex is clear.( no Sex until marriage) She promotes abstenance based sex education. So how is it that her teenage daughter is pregnant? Maybe she should have opted for teaching her daughter about birth control. She is only lucky that her daughter is not suffering from an STD or AIDS. I would love to here Sarah Palin admit that perhaps complete sex education and means of protection against STD and Aids may be what we need to teach our children today! If she can not admit that how will she work in an unpartisian way to solve the problems we have here in the US today! It is here fault that her daughter is pregnant because she failed to tell Britol that if whe was going to have sex that she should use protection against an unwanted teenage pregnency.Sarah will now make her teenage daughter get married to a teenage boy who will be dropping out of school to support a family that he clearly was not ready for. I pray that they will beat the odds!

That is amazing that you think that Sarah Palin is responsible for her daughter in the sense of getting pregnant at the age of 17. No parent is responsible for that. You can raise your child, but they do what they do. I applaud Palin for standing by/with her daughter in this very difficult time. Just as Barack should not be put down for his mom being 17, Palin should not be put down for her daughter being 17.

it is a shame for a woman who thinks she can run the country but her own daughter gets pregnant before getting married, while touting "no sex ed, only abstinence" (clearly, Bristol didn't get that part of the lesson, and neither will other kids) gives birth, then pretends it's her mother's (yeah, Trig is Bristol's, not Sarah's and any fool can see if they scratch the surface of that issue) ---this is far too bizarre, and no one like this should be allowed near any kind of leadership. Palin can't even lead her own family, how is she going to be president of the USA? This is something beyond belief, that she even made it this far. Bullying and using your looks can only get you so far before you fall on your face. It's going to hurt, but she insisted on climbing that ladder of lies.

I agree! Voting for McCain would certainly be irresponsible. Just as his pick in his VP running mate was irresponsible. This woman has 5 children who need their mother. Clearly she hasn't been doing a job just look at th elder two. And that poor 5 month old. He needs her more than anything. How can she be there for any of them if she's busy screwing up, er, I mean running our country?! I have two children and it's hard enough to manage them and I'm certainly not trying to run a country.She should keep her gun toting butt where it belongs. In Podunk, Alaska where it's acceptable to be a complete and total idiot.

I find it ridiculous Sarah Palin is being ripped b/c her daughter is pregnant! SO WHAT! Lots of teens get pregnant when they're young but it doesn't mean the mothers parents aren't good parents. I got married in 2001 just 2 months after my 18th birthday. My husband and I had a baby a yr later when I was 19, I have 4 children now and I'm 25. But I'm a VERY good mother and me and my husband are still married. So for the critics out there who are judging Bristol for being "too young" or getting married at 18, leave the girl alone. It is 2008 not 1960! Getting married young doesn't ALWAYS mean it will be a failure. And when politics are involved people always come out of the woodworks claiming complete BS so they are in the spotlight!

omg will people get over young girls getting pregnant i mean im not saying its good cause its hard ay and effects you physically and emotionally but their are worse things going on in the world and the only thing that matters when it comes to situations like this is that them and thier baby are healthy and happy
