Palin's former Dancing with the Stars cast-mate and his brother were suing her and the show for $500,000; they claimed the idea was stolen from them.

We know ... they should compensate the U.S. that much for having subjected us to it.

Bristol Palin received a marriage proposal from a creepy stalker and promptly sought a restraining order after he showed up at her mom's house on her son's birthday.

Yep, all of that happened.

According to court documents, Bristol Palin obtained a temporary restraining against Michael Cummings, a 39-year-old Texan she claims she's never met.

Their only contact? An engagement ring he sent her in the mail, along with a note saying, "I (heart) you." That's not strange or uncomfortable at all.

A judge has tossed out a defamation lawsuit against Bristol Palin brought by the man seen heckling her in West Hollywood last year - an incident which later aired on Life's a Tripp.

Stephen Hanks sued the reality star in June for defamation, invasion of right to privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and misappropriation of right of publicity.

The court wasn't buying it. Palin's lawyer, John Tiemessen, says the suit was dismissed.

Either way, Joey's junk is totally in that trunk.

Not long ago, Bristol Palin and Gino Paoletti, her first serious boyfriend following her split from baby daddy Levi Johnston, were considering marriage.

Jimmy Kimmel apologized to Bristol Palin last night for making fun of her mom. Okay, he's not really sorry at all, but he openly acknowledged that he had done so.

When Bristol, who was far from amused following Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars results show, shot back that his apology was BS, Jimmy offered her a deal:

Last night's Dancing With the Stars results show marked the end of Bristol Palin's run on the program, and her partner Mark Ballas has a theory on why they got bounced:

Bristol Palin played it too safe and didn't think outside the box, he feels.

Ballas told reporters he was "dead serious" about dressing up as an animal pair for their routine previous night, which Palin nixed (see their performance below).

He doesn't regret her decision, he says, but believes taking a risk could've helped her.

On last night's Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars, Bristol Palin stormed out on partner Mark Ballas during rehearsal because he doesn't want to be her partner.

Anderson Cooper is calling BS ... and calling it brilliant TV.
