It's official. Brett Favre has retired from the NFL.

The quarterback legend made the announcement at a press conference Sunday. He is currently listed as questionable for training camp in August.

"One season does not define me," said Favre, referring to a lackluster final year with Minnesota, and possibly the Jenn Sterger scandal as well.

Asked how this is different from his previous nine retirements, he cited his myriad injuries, adding "I know it's time" and "I have no regrets."

Alright, stop ... collaborate and listen. Favre is back with a brand new invention. Something grabs a hold of him tightly ... unfortunately, it's not Jenn Sterger.

Last year was not a great one for Brett Favre. Dude blew a shot at the Super Bowl with a costly interception, then retired, unretired and had a bad season.

The end of his consecutive starts streak and the whole Jenn Sterger sexting scandal topped it off. Oh, and he has small junk, making things even sadder.

But that through it all, he's still in good spirits. If anyone can benefit from a little Vanilla Ice-inspired dancing, it's him. Here's Brett doing "Ice Ice Baby" ...

NFL star Brett Favre will be fined $50,000 for allegedly sending former New York Jets employee Jenn Sterger explicit text messages and photos.

Favre was NOT suspended for his actions, but the fine basically implies that an NFL investigation verified the rumors going around for months.

Basically, Jenn saw pics of Brett Favre's small junk. Amazing.

SHE'S SO FINE: Worth a $50,000 one? Debatable.

Jenn Sterger, who has posed for Playboy and Maxim, worked as a sideline personality for the Jets in 2008, Favre's one season with the team.

In addition to firing off photos of his wang, Brett allegedly asked Jenn for a video of her masturbating. Dude is very forward, give him that.

Favre admitted leaving her voicemails, but denies sending her explicit pics. The fine was issued because the star was "deemed uncooperative."

We would deem him a host of other things, too.

A suspension wouldn't have mattered that much anyway, as the beleaguered shot-caller was unlikely to play the Sunday because of injuries.

You can listen to Favre's voicemails, which are only slightly less absurd than these remarks by Tucker Carlson about Michael Vick, right here:

Former New York Jets employee Jenn Sterger, who was allegedly sent photos of Brett Favre's penis (maybe you heard), also got a text from the NFL star.

A text in which he asks her for a video of her masturbating.

That's according to sources connected to NFL's investigation into the star's conduct in 2008. The video request reportedly came months after the pics.

THUMBS UP: I'm a fan. Now how 'bout pleasuring yourself on tape?

It's not clear if Jenn Sterger turned over the masturbation video request to the NFL, which has yet to decide if Favre violated its personal conduct policy.

Even if he violated a cardinal rule by texting his small junk, according to Charles Barkley, it's becoming clear that Brett Favre is a wild, sexual freak.

He admitted hollering at Sterger, as heard on the voicemail leaked online, and while he denies sending any photos of his wang, you have to wonder.

Who the heck knows what specifics are true, but between this and Rex Ryan's foot fetish video, the Jets PR department has a lot on its plate lately.

There's nothing like a good celebrity feud.

Sure, we all go through bad breakups, say things we wish we could take back and argue with others, but when the stars do it, it's so much more interesting!

As the year winds down, we've examined 2010's top celebrity mistresses and sex tapes. Now, THG takes a look at the year's 10 best celebrity spats here ...

10. Brett Favre vs. Jenn Sterger

In a classic he said/she said deal, a former Jets reporter alleged sexual harassment by the NFL legend, who says he was just hollering. Perhaps. Some say the biggest crime was thinking Brett Favre's small junk was going to impress somebody.

9. Sarah Palin vs. PETA

We'd rank Sarah Palin higher, but public wars of words lose some of their edge when you go out of your way to start them. Still, her exchange with PETA over hunting was classic. Bristol Palin and Willow Palin had some good ones, too.

8. Kid Rock vs. Steven Tyler

The former called the latter's hiring by American Idol "the stupidest thing he's ever done in his life" and termed him "an idiot" for good measure. The Aerosmith rocker responded that Kid is "just jealous." Not sure about that one, Steve.

Brett Favre crossed the line by allegedly texting pics of his penis to Jenn Sterger, but not in the way that the media has been reporting it, Charles Barkley feels.

Barkley told The Roundtable on WJOX in Birmingham, Ala., that he is "100 percent against sexual harassment," but that Sterger never accused Favre of that.

The whole Brett Favre scandal has been a "witch hunt," in Barkley's mind: "I don't know Brett Favre, but worst case ... Brett Favre's just a freak apparently."

Barkley: Favre "broke one of the Ten Commandments."

In fact, Sir Charles goes on, “My biggest problem with the whole Favre thing is if you’re going to send a woman a picture of your junk, it should be huge."

"You can't send small junk to a woman and expect anything."

Well, there you have it. Listen to his remarks here. Then watch a recent interview he gave with David Letterman in which Barkley made similar points ...

Jenn Sterger is not out to get Brett Favre ... but come on, the dude should be held accountable for what he did, lest her own reputation be sullied.

That's essentially the model/reporter's take.

The former N.Y. Jets sideline reporter who claims Favre texted pics of his junk to her claims she would rather not pursue legal action against the NFL star.

As long as the NFL suspends him, that is.

Jenn Sterger has made it clear where she stands.

Jenn Sterger's rep said that "If the [NFL] commissioner suspends Favre and puts him in a program to make sure this doesn't happen again ... 100 percent ... she would not pursue any litigation against Favre, against the Jets, against anybody."

Her rep also insists that the QB's camp tried to pay her off in the wake of the alleged texting, but before any wang photos or news of the scandal leaked online:

"He asked, is there a specific figure you had in mind to make this go away."

Brett admits hollering at Jenn, but denies texting lewd pics. The NFL investigation into the incident is reportedly closed, but no decision has been reached yet.

Jenn Sterger has kept a low profile throughout the Brett Favre scandal. So far. That could change if she isn't satisfied with the results of the investigation.

If the NFL doesn't discipline Favre for the sexting and voicemails he allegedly sent to Jenn, the former Jets reporter may decide to go public with proof.

She has an "overabundance of evidence," too, according to her manager.

A Jenn Sterger Pic

Does Jenn Sterger have more evidence that Brett Favre harassed her? Like his status every single Sunday, that remains up in the air ... at least for the moment.

Favre could get word any day now about potential punishment for allegedly sending Jenn Sterger photos of his penis while he was with the New York Jets.

She was working as the team's stadium host at the time.

Embattled Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has certainly been in the news a lot lately, with all the errant passes he's made on and off the field!

Under investigation by the NFL for voicemails and lewd pics allegedly sent to reporter Jenn Sterger, Favre admits hollering, but denies sexting any photos.

This weekend, Saturday Night Live lampooned the legendary QB and Wrangler jeans spokesman with a faux line of pants he can endorse going forward ...

NO FLY ZONE: Brett Favre's just too covered up here.

Cast member Jason Sudekis, shown playing touch football in a pair of denims with the crotch blurred out, spoofs Favre and Wrangler's "Open Fly" jeans.

"I've tried all kinds of jeans – button fly, zipper fly, you name it. But nothing works better than the all-new, open-fly jeans from Wrangler," says faux Brett.

The joke jeans ad notes that the pants are the first of their kind to feature no fly whatsoever, "an ultra-relaxed fit, right where you need it most."

How could Jenn Sterger possibly resist? Watch the SNL Brett Favre ad here:
