Chris Brown and Drake went at it last night at the ESPYs ... but only in jest in a skit that mocked their previous rivalry and the former's violent past.

The two dudes who once wanted to kill each other pretty much killed it, too.

After a long setup to establish the Chris Brown-Drake beef, and stir up a faux Blake-Drake rivalry, the rapper and 2014 ESPYs host ends up on an operating table.

With "Dr. Blake Griffin" ready to operate, Drake is already a little uneasy ... and then Brown pops up with surgical tools in hand, ready to go to work.

"YOLO motherf--ker," he menacingly says as Griffin puts him under:

Afterward, Griffin and Brown were live on stage, faux announcing that Drake was done for the night ... and Chris introduced himself as "America's Sweetheart."

The L.A. crowd loved it, and rightfully so (especially the Cheetos joke), even though Chris mocking his violent tendencies is always a high-risk move.

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander started dating in late 2012. Most would congratulate the Detroit Tigers ace for landing the ultimate WAG - the trophy girlfriend to end all trophy girlfriends.

If you care more about baseball than boobs, however, you might be screaming for Verlander to drop Kate like a hot rock.

The Cy Young winner has been struggling this season and many believe Upton is proving to be a distraction that Verlander simply can't handle.

If that's the case, at least Justin can take comfort in the fact that he's not the first athlete to fall victim to the curse of Kate:

Justin Verlander
Kate and Justin have been on and off for years. They split in 2013, leading to an epic post-season performance by the Tigers ace. Now that they're back together, Verlander is carrying a career-high ERA.

Yes, despite the fact that Upton just turned 22 earlier this month, she's already, um...rounded the bases with a number of athletes, kinda-athletes, and...mascots?

Blake Griffin has done it again.

The Los Angeles Clippers power forward - who might be responsible for the best dunk ever - set a pick and rolled to the basket during last night's win over the Boston Celtics.

And who was there waiting for him? None other than the former Mr. Kim Kardashian himself, Kris Humphries.

Not that Griffin cared very much. Watch him take to the air and THROW IT DOWN over Humphries now. This is more embarrassing for Kris than the fact that he actually married Kim Kardashian:

As for other memorable Griffin slams?

NBA superstar Blake Griffin was very interested in Brynn Cameron ... and her brother Jordan, according to this video he recorded back in 2011.

Brynn's brother Jordan Cameron was a standout tight end for USC football two years ago. Brynn Cameron herself was a basketball star for the school.

Blake, the star of the L.A. Clippers, really wanted to make sure Jordan got drafted by an NFL team. So much so that he filmed this hype video for him:

Whether it helped or not is unclear, but:

  1. Jordan Cameron was picked by and remains on the Browns
  2. We're guessing Blake was, at least in part, inspired to do this by the fact that he was in a relationship with Brynn Cameron. Just a hunch.

Brynn gave birth to Blake's child in August. They're no longer dating.

Brynn Cameron has been identified as Blake Griffin's baby mama. You may recall her from back in the day as Matt Leinart's baby mama. Girl has a type.

The former USC basketball star, who got pregnant from Leinart when he was a star quarterback at the school in 2006, just welcomed her second child.

She and L.A. Clippers superstar Blake Griffin welcomed Ford Wilson Cameron-Griffin on August 1. The birth has been confirmed, along with the parents.

The birth certificate lists Blake Austin Griffin as the dad.

Six-year-old Cole Cameron Leinart lives with Brynn, who was been getting five-figure monthly child support checks from Matt, who also visits regularly.

LeBron James, Blake Griffin will see your alley-oop over John Lucas III and raise you a ridiculous poster-ization of Kendrick Perkins.

Just one day after the Miami Heat small forward literally jumped over an opponent to jam home a lob, the Los Angeles Clippers superstar took to the air and slammed one so forcefully over one of the best defenders in the league that many aren't wondering if it's Griffin's best dunk ever.

They are wondering if it's the best dunk in the history of the NBA. Watch in awe for yourself now:

LeBron appears happy to hand Blake the crown, Tweeting (in his new, irritating, third person style) last night after watching the play above:
