Singer Amy Winehouse has admits that her trouble with drugs almost killed her - and credits husband Blake Fielder-Civil with keeping her alive.

"I really thought it was over for me then," Winehouse recanted to the German news magazine Stern, referring to the night in August when a bloody melee left her hospitalized. "My husband Blake saved me. He brought me to the hospital."

The "Rehab" pop star canceled several performances after being hospitalized for what her rep described at the time as "exhaustion." Blake Fielder-Civil had rushed the singer to a central London medical center.

Within the month, Amy Winehouse's in-laws opened up about the mad hospital dash, and their daughter-in-law's problems with substance abuse.

"We are in hell," Georgette Fielder-Civil said. He added "People who take drugs don't care about other people but only care about their next fix."

Interviewed in Hamburg prior to a concert there last week, Amy Winehouse found the German reporter staring at the scars on her arms.

"Those are wounds, old wounds. You know. I wasn't well then, in August," Amy Winehouse said. But when the reporter asked if she was now clean of drugs, she snapped: "That's none of your business." Alright, then.

Amy and Blake: Just Hangin' Out

Just days later, the couple were arrested in Norway on October 18 for alleged drug possession. Guess old habits really do die hard for this crazy young pair.

Amy Winehouse also admitted the haze that life has become for her.

"Lots of times I have no idea what I'm doing. Not until the next day do I have any memory," she said. "Blake tells me later what happened. And then I'm ashamed."

Amy Winehouse said she's shocked at the situations she gets into - and says Blake Fielder-Civil often tells her what happened after the fact.

"I recently saw a picture of me when I got out of the hospital. I didn't even recognize myself," she said. "I believe that the pain makes me feel alive. Being willing to suffer for something means that I'm not just apathetic about them."

In an absolutely stunning celebrity news item, Amy Winehouse was arrested for marijuana possession Thursday in Norway, police in Bergen confirm.

Authorities, acting on a tip "from a good source," arrested the 24-year-old singer, husband Blake Fielder-Civil and a male member of her touring party at around 6 p.m. in Bergen's Radisson SAS Hotel, a police source says.

Wino at Court Hearing

They found .25 ounces of marijuana in the singer's room.

The three were held for about 12 hours in separate cells, fined and then released. Winehouse and Fielder-Civil paid a 500 euro ($714) fine.

The member of her touring party, Alexander Foden, who creates hairpieces for Amy Winehouse, paid a 350 euro ($500) penalty.

"She paid the fine and she was released," a police source was quoted as saying. She and Blake Fielder-Civil were "very cooperative. It's over."

The scandal-plagued singer was hospitalized back on August 8 and treated for exhaustion, the start of a roller-coaster ride of canceled commitments.

Heck, even her parents and in-laws have publicly told her to get off drugs.

All of her U.S. appearances have been postponed until 2008.

The arrest also comes after Amy Winehouse had a shaky start to her European tour October 15 in Berlin. She tripped and staggered on stage and forgot the first few lines of the cover she did of "Valerie," by British band The Zutons.

There are few times, as a celebrity gossip site, when celebrities leave you at a loss for words. But that's where Amy Winehouse leaves us. There is so little we can add when photos of this talented singer and train wreck.

Just the same, we're happy to post them for your enjoyment and puzzlement. And to celebrate the joyous fact that Amy Winehouse and her equally insane husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have defied the odds in surviving another day in this world.

Brittany Murphy and Simon Monjack.

American Ferrera and Ryan Piers Williams.

These actresses may have found fairy-tale romances with totally random guys, but they've got nothing on the true love and devotion shared by British singing sensation Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

Just take a look at the photo below. It tugs at the heartstrings. Aren't they just the celebrity gossip world's poster children for stability and happiness?

Blake and Amy: Possibly sedated, definitely in love!

It's nice to see Winehouse, who was hospitalized last month for "exhaustion" and postponed or canceled her summer concerts, then overdosed on drugs and ran into the streets of London bloodied and bruised (with Fielder-Civil in tow) is all smiles in the photo above. Way to bounce back, girl.

She just returned to the UK with Blake Fielder-Civil after their Caribbean vacation. Aside from a little vomiting up blood, a good time was had by all.

Rehabbing "Rehab" singer Amy Winehouse is a wreck.

That much is painfully obvious to everyone. But she's getting help, at least.

Or so we thought.

Reports have it that the bloody wreck, supposedly getting some R&R in the Caribbean, violently vomited blood all over her hotel room in St. Lucia.

The staff at the Jade Mountain resort was horrified to discover vomit and blood as they were sent to Amy Winehouse's suite to clean up the mess.

"There was blood and vomit all over the bathroom, it was just terrible," said one worker, according to British tabloid The Mirror.

Jade Mountain management reportedly offered to send for a doctor for Amy, but Winehouse said no, no, no.

Sorry, but there's no way we weren't going there.

Amy and her almost equally insane husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have been at the $1,400-a-night Caribbean hideaway since last weekend.

They checked into the resort after a bloody melee in London in which - as we understand it - Blake Fielder-Civil caught her doing drugs and freaked out, prompting her to lash out at him, then say later that he saved her life.

The parents of both Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil are calling for fans to boycott Amy's album in an effort to urge the pair to get help for their drug addictions.

Wow, boycotting your own kid's music? That's a bit extreme, don't you think? After all, this stuff makes great celebrity news. Take away her career and... well, come to think of it, that shouldn't impact too much. Just look at Britney Spears. Gosh.

Incidentally, here's a crazy, random pic of Blake Fielder-Civil naked ...

Amy and BlakeTrain wreck singer Amy Winehouse got into another bizarre, bloody fight with her husband after he found her in a hotel "cutting" herself.

But just 24 hours later, Winehouse was seen out and about, and claimed that the man she'd just "lost it" on had actually saved her life.

Here's how it went down, according to the UK's Daily Mail: the songstress, who had left rehab - again - after just a few days and was holed up in the Sanderson Hotel in London, was spotted by photographers walking around London early Thursday with cuts and blood on her face.

Her legs and feet were also bloodied, and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, had cuts all over himself as well.

In a series of text messages posted on Perez Hilton, however, Amy explained she was "cutting herself" in her hotel and "after he found me ... rightly said I wasn't good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life."

Early this morning, at 4:00 a.m. London time, the couple was seen cleaned up and strolling arm-in-arm down the street.

TMZ, meanwhile, directly contacted Scotland Yard, who reports that no charges will be filed in connection with the incident. Winehouse has made no secret of her history of self-mutilation, but this is one of her more disturbing episodes yet.

We love Amy's tunes, but what a mess! She's like a British, more talented version of Britney Spears ... with a penchant for violence!

Singer Amy Winehouse and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have both checked into a "retreat" in Essex, England, Fielder-Civil confirmed to BBC Radio One.

"The main thing is me and Amy both are getting better," Fielder-Civil said from Winehouse's North London home Thursday. "Don't worry, she's being looked after. We're going back to this retreat. She's determined to get well."

Amy Winehouse Beats Blake Fielder-CivilBlake Fielder-Civil said the pair - who surprised many with their quick engagement and wedding in May - is focused on recovery.

"It's not as bad as everyone thinks, but she's fine, she's loved and looked after," he said.

The couple were interviewed outside Winehouse's home, where they went after visiting three pubs in Camden, spending 10 minutes in each.

THG NOTE: Did that just say Amy and Blake visited three pubs prior to being interviewed... about checking into rehab?

What are we missing here?

"We only came back to get a guitar," Blake Fielder-Civil, 23, said. "But of course, in the paper, that's interpreted that me and Amy are both so weak we left after three days."

Earlier in the day, Winehouse's rep refuted that the singer was, or is, in rehab, but announced the cancellation of all Amy's August shows.

Still, when Amy Winehouse was asked yesterday if reports of her drug abuse were true, she said casually: "I wouldn't say so, no."

The 23-year-old train wreck, who's been looking noticeably thinner lately, added: "I'm fine, I've put on half a stone [7 pounds] and I'm fine."

Before the couple made their getaway in a waiting car, Fielder-Civil said reports that Amy Winehouse is addicted to heroin and cocaine are trumped up.

"I wouldn't believe it, no," he said. "I would say there are a few problems there, but certainly not the magnitude that my mom was falsely quoted as saying."

On August 8, Amy Winehouse was admitted with exhaustion to London's University College London Hospital, before being treated and released.

We report on too much sad celebrity gossip sometimes.

There are constant Britney Spears meltdowns, lenient Nicole Richie jail sentences, a lack of Scarlett Johansson nude photos.

Therefore, let's take a moment to celebrate love. Here is a tribute to public displays of affection by celebrities that don't care about money or the spotlight. Just each other.

We'll start with Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil. Sure, they might fight like drunk Yankees and Red Sox fans occasionally, but the newlyweds always come back to each other in the end. As the peck pictured here proves, blood is thicker than fisticuffs.

Of course, Reggie Bush knows all about that. He bled on the football fields of USC for years and now he's doing it for the New Orleans Saints. This running back gives it his all between the sidelines; that is, whenever he's not giving it to Kim Kardashian between the sheets.

This pair hooked up on the dance floor of a club a few weeks ago. Let's just hope Bush doesn't run into the same problems that former college teammate Matt Leinart has encountered after his past sexual liaisons.

Finally, we close with the model Hollywood couple. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag just can't keep their fingers or lips off one another. Cynics might refer to photos of these two as nothing but staged attempts to make celebrity news headlines.

Suckin' Face

But we call them endearing. And just further proof that love can, indeed, be in the air for many in Tinseltown.

Right, Ali Larter?

Literally.

Amy Winehouse recently gave disturbing insight in to her private life, cutting herself with a shard of mirror during a magazine interview.

The singer reportedly carved the words ‘I love Blake' into her stomach and made repeated foul mouthed rants as she spoke to Spin magazine.

Talking before her recent marriage to husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse ranted about her newfound superstardom.

"I'm not in this to be a f***ing role model," the eccentric one insisted.

Sounds vaguely like the sentiments of her supposed rival, Lily Allen.

Blake Fielder-Civil then joined her at the interview in the Toad Hall pub, in New York, where he reportedly threatened a fellow drinker, asking the interviewer to: "Tell the guy who looks like he has leukaemia I'm going to slit his throat."

He's a class act, this fellow.

The songstress then cut into her stomach after posing with a shard of mirror for the photo shoot. She then went to the toilet, checking her nose with the piece of mirror.

The "Rehab" singer, who has admitted mutilating herself in the past, said:

"I don't care. I don't care about any of this and I don't have much of an opinion on myself... I write songs because I'm f***ed in the head and need to get something good out of something bad. I thought ‘I'm going to die if I don't write down the way I feel I'm going to do myself in.' It's nothing spectacular. And if I did I'd be a f***ing right ****, wouldn't I?"

Did we mention we love Amy Winehouse?

Amy, who also says she can and will beat up Blake when necessary, told Q magazine earlier this year that she began self-mutilating ways in her younger days.

"It's a funny thing, a morbid curiosity. I'm talking about when I was nine. What does it feel like? ‘Ow, that f*****g hurts."

Amy Winehouse made the comments after appearing at the Elle Style Awards ... and sporting some ghastly and mysterious scars on her arms.

This girl makes Britney Spears seem sane ... although Winehouse balances out her quirks with considerable singing talent, so call it a wash.

Winehouse married boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil in a surprise Miami wedding in May. Her album Back to Black has been a top 10 hit in the US.

Amy Winehouse Beats Blake Fielder-CivilLondon's The Sun says that singing sensation Amy Winehouse isn't afraid to get on her husband's case if he pisses her off.

Neither are most strong women. But in Amy's case, it means she just might lose her $h!t and beat Blake Fielder-Civil physically.

Specifically, Amy Winehouse said that when she's drunk - and when is she not - Blake had better watch his a$$ if he angers her.

"I'm either a really good drunk or I'm an out-and-out $h!t, real horrible, violent, abusive, emotional drunk. I'll beat up Blake when I'm drunk," she said of the classy gent she married in a surprise wedding last month.

Bad as this might sound at first, it sure "beats" driving around drunk like Lindsay Lohan or offering up crotch shots like Britney Spears.

"I don't think I've ever bruised him, but I do have my way. If he says one thing I don't like then I'll chin him," Amy Winehouse, who also admits to mutilating herself, added.

"I'm not a fighter, but if I am backed up against the wall I won't hesitate to kick the $h!t out of anyone... I don't think one's ability to fight has anything to do with how big you are. It's to do with how much anger is in you."

A valid point. But let's just hope that some men, such as Alec Baldwin, who has some serious rage issues, doesn't get crunked and subscribe to this methodology.

We now understand why Amy didn't make Blake Fielder-Civil sign a prenuptial agreement. If he screws around, she will simply beat his sorry a$$ to a pulp.
