Watch out, Kylie Jenner, you're on notice. Bindi Irwin is making headlines this week for espousing modesty in teenage fashions. What a concept.

In an interview with News Corp, a discussion of her personal style turned into the late Steve Irwin's daughter commenting on teenagers' fashion choices.

She said:

"For me, I look around at a lot of young girls my age and they're always trying to dress older. Whether it's revealing clothes or hardly wearing any clothes at all, I feel really bad for them."

"A lot of times I want to grab these girls and say 'look, in 10 years you'll regret this. Just dress like who you are. Don't try so hard. A pair of jeans and a T-shirt is just as gorgeous."

Not only that, it "even makes you look classier." Or so this 15-year-old believes. Fans obviously reacted quickly and furiously to her comments.

Popular Australian actress Caitlin Stasey, 24, responded on Twitter:

Bindi Irwin, the 14-year-old daughter of late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, is alive and well despite a hoax reporting her untimely demise this week.

A rumor that the teen died started to pick up steam on Twitter Friday, and then "Steve Irwin daughter dies" climbed all the way to No. 4 on MSN trends.

We know, we know ... who uses MSN trends. But still! Effed up!

Two days ago Bindi tweeted a link to an interview she gave in Hong Kong, saying, "I had such a wonderful time there." And posted the pic above. She's fine.

Interestingly, the consensus is that interest in Bindi and her new film Return From Nim Island, combined with her late father's death, led to the "hoax."

In other words, chalk this up to technical problems and a bizarrely macabre trending snafu, rather than a deliberate campaign to fake-kill Bindi.

Time to switch up the ol' algorithm, MSN.

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin's daughter Bindi sure grew up fast.

Remember the youngster back in the day as a cute little kid?

Here's Bindi Irwin at 14, starring on the Hallmark Channel:

Bindi is returning to TV as the face of Hallmark's new Friday night family movie showcase. She will star in Return to Nim's Island, the sequel to 2008's Nim's Island.

It will be her first feature-length film, but far from her first time on TV.

Aside from appearing with her dad on his beloved Animal Planet series The Crocodile Hunter, Irwin has starred in Bindi, the Jungle Girl and Bindi's Boot Camp.

Steve Irwin passed away in 2006.
