By now, it's all but guaranteed that Hillary Clinton will run for president in 2016. She's a virtual lock to receive the Democratic nomination and she's the current front-runner to succeed Barack Obama in the highest office in the land.

If the details revealed in a new tell-all book turn out to be true, however, Hillary's most important political ally could turn out be her biggest liability.

The book is titled The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal the Hidden Lives of Presidents, and according to those who have received advance copies, author Ronald Kessler hits the Clintons the hardest.

Kessler reportedly makes some shocking claims about Bill's still very active sex life - specifically with regard to the 42nd president's frequent liaisons with a busty blonde mistress nicknamed "Energizer."

Monica Lewinsky.

There. Do have your attention now?

The 40-year old former mistress of President Bill Clinton is featured in the new issue of Vanity Fair, addressing the 1998 dalliance that led to an impeachment and one of the biggest scandals to ever hit the White House.

An archive of diaries, memos and notes from conversations kept by one of Hillary Clinton’s best friends have shed new light on her reaction to the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

The papers offer a look at the mindset of the then-First Lady through some of the most difficult parts of her husband’s presidency, including the affair that nearly ended it.

Clinton's friend, the late Diane Blair, was a political science professor whose papers were donated to the University of Arkansas Special Collections library in 2010.

The information has been available there since then but only recently came to light after a conservative website reviewed them and shared their findings.

In "The Hillary Papers," she actually credited Bill Clinton with trying to break away from intern Monica Lewinsky, whom she called a “narcissistic loony toon.”

Blair also said Hillary Clinton cited a series of personal tragedies like the death of friend Vince Foster, her father and Bill’s mother in taking a toll on their marriage.

Elizabeth Hurley has denied ever having an affair with Bill Clinton, and the man who made that allegation is now also saying that it didn't happen.

In an undated audio tape obtained by celebrity gossip site Radar Online, the ex-boyfriend of Hurley, Tom Sizemore, is heard recalling how he set them up.

Only nothing of the sort ever took place, he now concedes.

Sizemore, at the White House for a Saving Private Ryan screening, said Bill asked him for Hurley’s number and when he hesitated, got pissed, saying:

"Give it to me. You dumb motherf---r, I'm the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America. The buck stops here. Give me the damn number."

The troubled actor, who has battled with substance abuse, said on the tape that Clinton immediately called Hurley and sent a private plane to pick her up.

Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Hurley had sexual relations while he was President, according to a new report citing specific details from actor Tom Sizemore.

The Black Hawk Down star says Clinton carried on a torrid year-long love affair with the British supermodel behind the White House walls starting in 1998.

Radar published an audio recording during which the Hollywood actor, who had his own three-year sexual liaison with Hurley, recounts Clinton's tryst.

Sizemore says Clinton had a plane fly Hurley to Washington D.C., nailing her in the White House with First Lady Hillary Clinton in the next room over.

Tom, 52, claims he even arranged the couple’s first rendezvous.

Bill Clinton-Elizabeth Hurley Affair

It was allegedly during a 1998 White House screening of Saving Private Ryan, when President Clinton pulled Sizemore aside and asked, point blank:

“Did you go with Liz Hurley for four years? Do you still see her?”

When Sizemore confirmed they had dated but were no longer together, he says the President asked for her number. When he resisted, Bill told him:

“Give it to me. You dumb m***********r, I’m the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America. The buck stops here. Give me the damn number.”

The full Monica Lewinsky "sex tape" - which is really just an audio tape of her beckoning then-President Bill Clinton for sex - has been posted online.

The tape, first obtained by the National Enquirer, has reopened the scandal over Clinton’s affair with the intern, 15 years after it led to his impeachment.

With wife Hillary Clinton said to be preparing another bid for the presidency in the 2016 election, we'd guess that the power couple is less than thrilled.

That said, save for the fact that her seductive ways are documented in audio form - nearly four-minutes of breathy-voiced, adulterous glory - it's not news.

Monica really pursued the President. That's the long and short of it.

Trying to lure Clinton to a sexual rendezvous, she plots the details of how they will sneak around, then offers to "take my clothes off" if he likes, etc.

An alleged "sex tape" that Monica Lewinsky recorded for Bill Clinton at the peak of their infamous affair has leaked, according to the National Enquirer.

Lewinsky, the only person heard on the tape (which is only audio), proclaims herself “too cute and adorable” to be ignored by our 42nd President:

“I could take my clothes off and start… well… I know you wouldn’t enjoy that? I hope to see you later and I hope you will follow my script and do what I want.”

Monica Lewinsky, who turned 40 last week, allegdly made the three-minute, 47 second recording back in 1997 and addressed it to “handsome.”

The sexually explicit tape details are in the new issue of the Enquirer, though they are not available on its website, so take all this with a grain of salt.

Still, it's an interesting account to say the least:

It's the perennial talk of the political world, but Bill Clinton is less than decisive about the prospect of his wife, Hillary Clinton, running for president in 2016.

“She hasn’t mentioned it to me,” Clinton said of the Hillary 2016 buzz when asked at the Peter G. Peterson Foundation’s 2013 Fiscal Summit in D.C.

Bill, Hillary 2016?

“I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I know this: that is the worst expenditure of our time,” he said, adding that it's “frustrating” to be talking politics.

“She’s taking a role in the foundation, she’s writing books, she’s having a little fun being a private citizen for the first time in 20 years,” Clinton said.

“We need to be worried about the work at hand right now. All of us do."

"That way, whoever the next president is has an easier set of choices.”

Good point, but still ... since we're on the topic: Hillary in 2016?

In a rare event, all five living U.S. Presidents converged today for the official opening of George W. Bush's presidential library in Dallas, Texas.

Presidents

Bush, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter were cheered by a crowd of former White House officials and world leaders.

They were joined on stage by their wives - the nation's current and former first ladies (below) - at the outdoor ceremony on a sunny Texas morning.

The leaders were putting aside the profound ideological differences that have divided them for years for a day of pomp and pleasantries for Bush, 66.

Bill Clinton has finally joined Twitter!

Sort of. Thanks to Stephen Colbert.

Billy Jeff Clinton

In a hilarious interview live from the Clinton Global Initiative, The Colbert Report pundit persuaded the 42nd president to open up a Twitter account.

Colbert took the liberty of activating @PresBillyJeff, a shorter version of his full name, William Jefferson Clinton ... the better ones were all taken.

"Now President Clinton was taken. William Jefferson Clinton was taken. But PrezBillyJeff is available," Colbert informed the amused ex-President.

"Would you like to break into the 21st century right now and send your first tweet?" he asked, and Hillary Clinton's husband obliged. What did he write?

She is winning the general election today and he is not, according to all the evidence. And I have never seen anything like it. I have never seen a candidate treated so disrespectfully just for running.

She will win the general election if you nominate her. They're just trying to make sure you don't.
