It's not entirely new material, however. The album is "comprised mainly of romantic gems recorded between 1997 and 2004," though it also features "Nuclear."

That would be the first new Destiny's Child song since 2004.

Let there be no doubt now over the biggest Beyonce fan on the planet.

We don't know this young man's name, but a kid has recreated the artist's entire "Countdown" video, shot for shot, move for move... all while donning a Snuggie. For what reason?

Perhaps as an odd tribute to Blue Ivy. All we can say for certain is that the guy has some impressive moves. And maybe too much time on his hands.

Katy Perry is so excited about the prospect of a collaboration with BFF Rihanna, she may have put her foot in her mouth discussing the potential project.

Perry weighed in on the forthcoming song (which undoubtedly will be a catchy #1 hit with those two working together), with an apparent dig at Beyonce:

"We've collaborated on things, just not songs yet. It's one of those things that's got so much build-up that we have to deliver," she said on BBC Radio 1.

"I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song 'Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves,' not 'Beautiful Liar.' I definitely want to do something iconic."

Beyonce's 2007 track "Beautiful Liar," featuring Shakira, isn't her best song, but it did reach No. 1 on the iTunes best-seller list and U.S. Hot Singles Sales.

Perry doesn't have a reputation for starting beef with other celebs, so we're guessing she did not mean it as an insult ... even if it sort of reads that way.

Maybe Bey and Katy can collaborate next and bury the hatchet in this non-feud?

In sort of related news, KP sort of embarrassed herself covering "N****s In Paris" by Jay-Z and Kanye West at the same BBC Radio 1 appearance.

Beyonce's only job right now is mom to one-month-old baby girl Blue Ivy Carter, but she's already plotting a return to the recording studio sometime soon.

She's got plenty of new inspirational material, after all.

Snger/songwriter Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, who has helped produce big time hits with Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis and Beyonce herself ("Halo"), says he's working with B again, and has already sent the superstar songs about motherhood.

"The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening," Ryan explained. "All I can say is you kind of feed her the best that you have; Beyonce's this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in."

He declined to specify what the star's second project will be, on top of the new album, although a release of remixes for her album 4 has been rumored.

For the time being, however, Jay-Z and his wife are "enjoying the time off" at their Scarsdale, N.Y., mansion and $6.85 million TriBeCa loft. Says Tedder:

"She has been totally doting on Blue ... She's up whenever the baby's up!"

A physically and mentally exhausted Rihanna recently solicited words of wisdom from none other than Beyonce, the wife of her frequent collaborator Jay-Z.

B's advice was simple: Rest.

According to the UK's Daily Mail, Rihanna had a near "meltdown" on the European leg of her 101-date tour and turned to Beyonce to help her stay strong.

Beyonce, in turn, told the 23-year-old singer to consider taking a year off from show business altogether after the culmination of her massive tour to res.

Whether the headstrong star actually follows through on that is another story, but if RiRi's weekend tweet is any indication, Beyonce's words resonated.

"I'm so light-headed! WTF!!!!!" Rihanna wrote on Twitter after a performance in Dublin, which was nearly canceled due to her fragile, over-worked state.

So could 2012 be a light one for Rihanna pictures and songs? Although it's hard to imagine such a thing, Beyonce is always right. Don't cross the queen.

Perhaps aware that she'll be taking a few months off in the near future, for the most adorable of reasons, Beyonce continues to release new music videos.

First, there was a Countdown. Then, she explained where she would place one's love. Now, the singer is throwing a Party.

In the following video, Beyonce is joined by J. Cole on a track, while hosting a backyard bash that includes appearances by sister Solange and former Destiny's Child mate Kelly Rowland. Watch now and compare to the artist's previous efforts:
