Miley Cyrus is hitting back after some inflammatory quotes attributed to her were published by Perez Hilton, denying she said anything about Beyonce.

The mohawked, tattooed singer covers the March issue of LOVE, and in it, according to Perez, she claimed that she is ready to fill Bey's shoes.

“Beyonce has been a big inspiration to me but she’s been out for such a long time," Miley allegedly said. "People are always looking for new blood."

"That’s what I bring to the game now, new blood. I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I’m just the best.”

“As Beyonce grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now."

"I’m the only white female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right, you know? I’m just the total package, you know?"

NASA officials say that the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger accident “should never be trivialized” and that Beyonce's new song "XO" does exactly that.

The star's track features an audio sample recorded just after the historic and tragic event, and the space agency isn't pleased, according to a statement.

A statement from Lauren B. Worley, NASA’s press secretary, reads:

"The Challenger accident is an important part of our history; a tragic reminder that space exploration is risky and should never be trivialized."

"NASA works every day to honor the legacy of our fallen astronauts as we carry out our mission to reach for new heights and explore the universe."

Beyonce has stepped right back into the middle of controversy again.

Under fire for including words from the Challenger explosion at the outset of her track "XO," the singer posted a photo on Instagram yesterday in which she makes herself part of The Last Supper.

Yes, that Last Supper. The one attended by Jesus Christ and company and painted by Leonardo DaVinci.

Beyonce didn't include a caption with the mysterious picture, leaving many to wonder what it means and whether it's really appropriate.

Beyonce has been on a nearly perfect roll lately.

She surprised Walmart customers with hundreds of gift cards. She made a cancer patient's dream come true. And her self-titled album has received rave reviews.

But the singer has now come under fire because the opening of the track "XO includes audio from the Challenger explosion.

The song opens with NASA public affairs officer Steve Nesbitt saying: “Flight controllers here looking very carefully at the situation. Obviously a major malfunction.”

Nesbitt uttered those words as a nation watched in horror on January 28, 1986, during a tragedy that killed seven people on board the Challenger spaceship.

Beyonce stopped by a Walmart in Massachusetts earlier this month, paying for $50 worth of every customers' purchases and earning a major ovation in the process.

But that act was nothing compared to what went down at a recent Las Vegas concert.

In the following video, we learn about a young cancer patient named Taylon. She's bound to a wheelchair and her dream in life is to dance with Beyonce.

And much to Taylon's emotional shock, that's exactly what takes place after Beyonce swoops down in front of her during the show and sings "Survivor" with the brave fan.

Tis the season for Beyonce.

The season to continually shock the world, that is.

A week after releasing a self-titled visual album without a word to the public, the superstar showed up to a Walmart in Tewksbury, Massachusetts yesterday to purchase said album... and also to gift stunned shoppers with $50 gift cards apiece.

Said Beyonce over the store's intercom:

"IIt's Beyoncé. I stopped by the store today because my record just arrived. I want to send everyone a little gift. For everyone in the store right now, the first $50 of your holiday gifts are on me. Merry, merry Christmas from Beyoncé."

In total, Queen Bey - who also kissed Madonna's daughter during a show in Brooklyn this week - shelled out $37,500 in gift cards.

Over the week, the music world has been bowing down for Beyonce, after the superstar dropped an unannounced self-titled album on iTunes and watched it sell over 800,000 copies in just a few days.

But Queen B herself was the one who bent down last night during a concert in Brooklyn in order to drop a kiss on a very special guest:

Madonna's eight-year old daughter, Mercy James!

The adorable incident was caught on camera and posted to Instagram by the Material Girl herself, who included along with the photo a caption that reads:

"Mercy James gets a big fat one from the Queen. B! Mrs. Carter crushes the BK with her bad ass show! Girls run the world!"

It's safe to say Beyonce's risk has paid off.

And then some.

At last check, "BEYONCE" has moved 828,772 copies, easily becoming the fastest-selling album in iTunes history and putting the singer on pace for the highest tally for a female solo artist since Taylor Swift sold 1.2 million copies of "Red" in November 2012.

It is also number-one in 104 countries and has already topped Beyonce's personal best: 2006's "B'day" sold 541,000 copies in its first week

For fans in Chicago, Friday the 13th proved to be awfully lucky this year.

That's because they attended a Beyonce concert in the United Center and were treated to the first-ever live performance of "XO," one of the 14 new tracks that make up this singer's just-released self-titled album.

“I’m going to sing this song, which is a brand new song. It hasn’t even been out for two days. I wanna sing this one for y’all because it was written for y’all,” Beyonce told fans before launching into the rendition.

Watch it now:
