So... how did she do?

Following her controversial Inaugural performance of the national anthem, we can finally move past Beyonce Lip Sync Gate - and focus instead on the superstar's performance at today's Super Bowl XLVII halftime show.

It followed the Alicia Keys national anthem rendition and featured black leather and lace... a fiery guitar... some serious dance moves... renditions of "Crazy in Love," "End of Love" and, of course, a Destiny's Child reunion!

Take this, haters.

With talk somehow still circulating around the Beyonce lip sync scandal at last week's Presidential Inauguration, the singer took to the podium today at a Super Bowl press conference and first address the issue.

"I am a perfectionist," she said. "I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show and a very important moment for me."

And in case that wasn't satisfactory enough, the Sasha Fierce one that SANG live for reporters. Watch her new Star Spangled-Banner performance now:

These days, she shares Blue Ivy Carter photos and expressions of love like it's her job, but not too long ago, Beyonce dealt with the ultimate maternal anguish:

A miscarriage.

Last year, husband Jay-Z briefly referenced the tragedy in "Glory," the rap track recorded within days of Blue's birth; Beyonce has never discussed the loss.

Beyonce is preparing for yet another performance on yet another enormous stage.

Just over a week after Beyonce Lip Sync Gate sadly overshadowed her great rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner at President Obama'a second Inauguration, the singer will take to the field this Sunday at halftime of the Super Bowl.

And in preparation, the artist has released a video of her backup dancers practicing their sexy moves:

For the first time since the Beyonce lip-sync scandal broke, the singer at the center of this controversy has spoke out.

Sort of.

The artist - who pre-recorded her version of the national anthem for last week's Presidential Inauguration - Tweeted a photo of herself in a shirt with the words "Can I Live" on it yesterday. See for yourself:

Seemingly shrugging off the critics with this tagline, the phrase is a reference Jay-Z's song "Can I Liv?"

Multiple stars, from Jennifer Lopez to LeAnn Rimes, have already come out in defense of Beyonce. They say artists often lip-sync live and, hey, she was singing at least.

Did you lose respect for Beyonce as a result of this incident?

With the Beyonce lip-sync scandal gaining momentum, a trio of stars come out in support of the singer - who has also silently staged her own online-based defense.

The artist - who pre-recorded her national anthem performance at Monday's Presidential Inauguration - Tweeted the following photo last night of her in the studio, pretty much telling the public:

Hey, it may not have been live... but I DID sing the song dammit.

At yesterday's Presidential Inauguration, Beyonce sang an incredible version of the national anthem. It gave attendees chills and lit up the Internet within minutes of its completion.

But now comes word that may tarnish the performance in the eyes of many: the artist did NOT perform live.

“All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day,” Kristin DuBois, a rep for the United States Marine Band tells Page Six, adding:

“We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know what the (sic) reason why.”

It's not unusual, of course, for singers to take this route. But considering the emotional resonance of the performance, we must ask:

Do you think less of Beyonce for lip-syncing the national anthem?
