With a failed talk show under her belt, SkinnyGirl Bethenny Frankel will NOT be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City.

The experience, she says, was like "Vietnam War flashbacks."

You know, the one where 58,209 Americans lost their lives? Yeah. That's what she says being on RHONY was like.

During the same interview wherein Bethenny admitted that she failed as a talk show host, she admitted that part of the reason for the show's failure was that she felt stifled on the air.

"I like to be free," she said. "I don't plan on what I'm going to say."

Judging the Vietnam War comment, that's a pretty accurate statement there Bethenny.

With controversy all around her, Bethenny Frankel is pulling the plug on her reality show after three seasons.

The former Real Housewife of New York will "concentrate on her many business ventures," an insider tells Us Weekly," while the door will remain open for other projects with Bravo."

Bethenny Frankel on the Red Carpet

Frankel has been under fire over the last few weeks. First, a lawsuit was filed against her line of margaritas, with questions arising over just how "all natural" the product is.

Then, Bethenny claimed she and her husband were lost at sea and nearly died, only for a witness to say otherwise and accuse her of manufacturing drama for her reality show. What a crazy notion, we know.

"As far as Bethenny Ever After goes, she feels that ending the show on a high note and ending it after this season would be best for her family," the source says. "She doesn't want her [20-month-old] daughter [Bryn] to grow up on TV."

Season three premieres on February 20.

Are you ready to go Skating with the Stars?

ABC sure hopes so, as it will premiere this variation on Dancing with the Stars on November 22. The cast of relative unknowns will be led by former Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel and will also include:

Soap opera star Rebecca Budig; Motley Crue singer Vince Neil; Olympic skier Jonny Moseley; actress Sean Young; and Brandon Mychal Smith of Disney’s Sonny With a Chance.

Bravo is asking viewers to go back in time.

See, Bethenny Frankel is already married. Moreover, she's already given birth to a daughter. But that isn't stopping Bravo from thinking viewers will have an interest in watching how this all came aboard, as Bethenny Getting Married premieres tonight.

Sadly, the network is probably correct.

So, what will this spin-off be about? Frankel tells E! News one thing for certain: it will NOT feature any Real Housewives of New York City:

"It's not my life anymore. It's not a cliché when I say I don't believe in staying at a party too long... This is a time I really want people who are good for me, good for my family. I want clean energy and everyone to be happy."

Cameras will actually follow Bethenny into therapy, something she says was her idea.

"I need therapy [but normally] I don't have time to go. To be able to have therapy once a week [for the show], I run there. I don't even notice the cameras. It's a true depiction of my life, [and] I've learned a lot."

Wait - what?!? Bethenny needs psychiatric help... but doesn't have time to go unless it's for a show... and this is a true depiction of her life?!? That might be the least logical statement we've ever heard (and we've listened to Tila Tequila speak!).

In closing, Bethenny wants everyone to understand her better and says:

"I could have a C-section and not be on any pain medication, but if you give me too small a portion at the ice cream store I have a nervous breakdown. That's the kind of person I am."

And this is the kind of person people want to watch?

She's starred on The Real Housewives of New York City for two seasons, is signed up for a third, and will likely receive her own spin-off series.

But while it may seem as though Bethenny Frankel bows at the altar of reality TV, the socialite claims it's actually the other way around.

"I'm not really revolving my life around reality TV; reality TV is revolving its life around me," she told E! News, referencing the constant arguing on the aformentioned Bravo series:

"It's like high school. In high school, you had time to argue and that was your whole life: the drama, the mean girls and the cool girls and all that. I don't have the time for the girl trouble right now... catfighting is not what I can really spend my time doing."

Especially because she loves cats. And all animals. So much so, Frankel is set to go naked for PETA.

As for new Housewives Sonja Morgan and Jennifer Gilbert, Bethenny could only say the following about the former:

"We have a mutual friend, and I remember meeting her. So bring it on. I'm excited for new women if that's the case."

This much we know for certain: Bethenny Frankel is getting her own reality show.

When the Real Housewife of New York City exits her current series is another matter entirely.

According to Life & Style, there's already a deal in place that will replace Frankel with fellow socialite Sonja Morgan. While the former will still be around, the latter is rumored to make her first appearance around episode five of the season.

"It was just signed yesterday," an insider told the tabloid. "It's not pretty between Bethenny and the other cast members in the episodes that they've already taped... the show is going to explode this season!"

Rising Reality Star

Frankel, however, insists she isn't going anywhere. She Tweeted this week:

the rumors about me not being on housewives are false. you're stuck with me!!! I repeat:I'm on housewives for season 3!!

As usual, and as Bravo of course wants us to, we'll need to tune in and find out.

So much for her own reality show.

Following rumors that she had signed a deal to star in a series titled Skinny and the City, only to then be threatened with a lawsuit for copyright infringement, Bethenny Frankel is going back to the show that made her (unfortunately) famous.

She'll be a cast member on season three of The Real Housewives of New York City.

“I’m definitely going to do the Housewives this season,” Frankel told People over the weekend. “It’s been great... I love it. I understand we start filming [season 3] in September.”

Book Shill

Frankel pretty much shot down talk of a spin-off series, choosing instead to shill for her SkinnyGirl Margarita beverage.

“The drink has 96 calories per serving, so it’s less calories than wine," she said. "The tequila already comes in the bottle and it costs $12.99. It’s being sold in restaurants as well as liquor stores."

As for her supposed engagement to Jason Hoppy? It looks like sources can make things up in order to garner publicity for their clients be wrong.

“You don’t see any ring,” Bethenny said.

Everyone will soon see Bethenny Frankel nude in an ad for PETA.

But this actually won't be the last chance fans have to get intimate with the reality TV star.

According to the New York Post, Frankel has left The Real Housewives of New York City in favor of greener (as in, the color of money) pastures: she's landed her very own series!

The program will air on Bravo this fall and, similar to Kendra on E!, "will follow her planning her wedding to [fiancé] Jason Hoppy," said a source.

This must-see show's title? Skinny & The City.

Based on the photos of Frankel above, the name seems apt. Seriously, eat a cheeseburger, Bethenny. Heck, eat two!

The Real Housewives of New York City is coming back for a third season of mischief and cat fighting on Bravo.

But will the cast remain intact?

Last season's new troublemaker, Kelly Bensimon, was the first to sign up for another go-around on the reality show, as sources told E! News" "She is considered the most hated woman in New York and will do anything to reverse that opinion."

Somewhere, Ruth Madoff can't believe she was overlooked for that honor.

The Real Annoying, Spoiled, Self-Serving Housewives of New York City are coming back to Bravo in early 2010.

Then there's the newly-engaged Bethenny Frankel, whose rep has also confirmed her return to the series that made her famous:

"Bethenny Frankel loves being part of the Bravo family, and if invited back, she will 100 percent RSVP for the Real Housewives party."

But the same can't be said for Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer. These two are reportedly holding out for a raise, as insiders say they see themselves as the actual stars of the show.

"Bravo put out that press release saying they're casting for new housewives because Jill and Ramona are playing hardball," said a source.

What do you think, readers? Should the show move on with Jill and Ramona? Or is this pair integral to its success?
