A federal appeals court ruled that President Barack Obama violated the Constitution by appointing three members of the National Labor Relations Board.

He bypassed the Senate to install appointees during a Congressional recess, hardly unprecedented but still unconstitutional, according to the ruling.

The decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit is a win for Congressional Republicans and business groups critical of the labor board.

It's been awhile since we heard from Ted Nugent.

The outspoken, gun-loving rock legend is at it again, railing against President Barack Obama via a recent interview with Guns (dot) com ... seriously.

Nugent, who met with the Secret Service in 2012 after basically threatening Obama, accuses him of being a communist sympathizer and worse. Watch:

“He is an evil, dangerous man who hates America and hates freedom, and we need to fix this as soon as possible,” he said at a gun trade show in Vegas.

President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama stunned a group of visitors by greeting them individually during their White House tour on Tuesday.

Hands were shaken. Days were made. But the President met one guest, named Trevor, who had a special request. "Can I ask for a fist bump?" asked Trevor.

Without hesitation, the president obliged ...

Note: President Obama finishes his fist bumps with an explosion. A member of the greatest military on Earth also learned this after greeting Obama in 2012:

President Barack Obama had a big day Monday, being sworn in, delivering a speech before 800,000 strong and probably getting some from Michelle Obama.

Not everyone descended on D.C. to celebrate the man, however.

Westboro Baptist Church braved the weather and the pro-Obama crowds to protest the event, and the administration, for its tolerance of homosexuality.

What's the crux of their argument? What's their prognosis for a second Obama term? How do they differ from thousands of others of churches out there?

Here's what one interviewer learned about WBC at the event:

Yesterday was a big one for United States President Barack Obama.

After being sworn in, the 44th Commander-in-Chief delivered a moving inaugural address and enjoyed a day of pomp, circumstance and celebration.

The burning question: Was there an inaugural undress after the ball?

Barack and Michelle Kissing

With the FLOTUS looking radiant (Michelle Obama's Jason Wu dress had everybody buzzing) on the dance floor, you have to wonder if they ... you know.

Attractive couple dressed to the nines. Historic moment. That look in their eyes. One thing must have led to another back at the WH ... right?! You tell us.

Did Barack and Michelle consummate the Presidency last night?

January's not even over yet, but it looks like First Daughter Malia Obama has already won Photo Bomb of the Year 2013 after this awesome effort Monday.

As sister Sasha Obama attempted to take an iPhone photo of her parents smooching on Inauguration Day, Malia impishly inserted herself into the shot.

The slightly curious / mildly irritated look from President Barack Obama - who appears to be holding an iPhone himself - is pretty priceless at the end.

All in all, a good day for the First Family. The antics of Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11, were viral sensations, while Barack was sworn in for another four years.

Honorable mention: This Bill Clinton photo bomb of Kelly Clarkson.

Sasha Obama let out a big yawn during her father's inaugural address today, making for a moment she will never, ever live down at home.

Kids will be kids.

During one pause by President Barack Obama, cameras cut to Sasha, sister Malia, and mother Michelle Obama; Sasha yawned for the whole U.S. to see.

One can sympathize with Sash. She'd been to church, attended Katy Perry's inauguration performance and witnessed a swearing-in ceremony in 24 hours.

She's also 11, and the speech - while stirring in rhetoric, moving in its evocation of American greatness, and inspiring in its grandeur - was a tad boring.

Sorry Barack.

President Barack Obama gave his inaugural address today, beginning his second White House term with an ambitious agenda and a call for national unity.

On a cold morning in Washington, D.C., the 44th President asked this great nation to live up to its founding ideals and to bringing about needed change.

Obama invoked the country's history of hardship - be it from the deficit, rising health care costs, climate change and equal rights - and overcoming adversity.

"We are made for this moment, and we will seize it - so long as we seize it together," Obama said, after taking the oath and being sworn in for a second term.

It's official: we have four more years of Barack Obama as Commander-in-Chief.

The President was sworn in for the second time today, as Chief Justice John Roberts delivered the oath of office in the White House Blue Room a little before noon.

It will take place again in public tomorrow on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
