Libertarian Party presidential candidate Gary Johnson says he thinks President Barack Obama will defeat Mitt Romney to win a second term this evening.

“I think Obama’s going to win, that’s what I think,” Johnson said.

As for his own support, the former New Mexico Governor said: “[My vote is] really spread out ... I don’t think there’s any state I’m going to do better in than another.”

Johnson, who’s on the ballot in 48 states and D.C., hovers in the low single digits in the polls. Still, he says he has no regrets at how things played out.

Last night, she wore a blue one emblazoned with Obama's "Forward" campaign slogan; last week, Perry's white number became the hottest "ballot" of all time.

The 2012 presidential election is tomorrow, but plenty of states have early voting. At least 30 million people in 34 states have already cast ballots by mail or in person.

That's a huge percentage of the overall popular vote - about 130 million citizens cast ballots in 2008, when Barack Obama defeated John McCain.

Four years ago, Obama's good fortune was foreshadowed by a surge in Democrats voting early. He's banking on the same enthusiasm in 2012. Will he get it?

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is hammering President Obama for a recent campaign speech in which he told the crowd, "voting is the best revenge."

Obama's comment was part a familiar stump speech riff; if audience members boo Romney's name, the president habitually says, "no no, don't boo - vote!"

In Springfield, Ohio, he said just that, adding, "Voting is the best revenge."

Chris Christie appeared on The Today Show just a few hours ago and offered up an update on the state of his state.

"The losses are going to be almost incalculable," Christie said of New Jersey in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. "The fact of the matter is I think we're going to get significant federal assistance on this. The major disaster declaration last night by the president is incredibly helpful in that regard."

Christie went on to break party lines and praise the handling of this catastrophe by the federal government.

In the wake of unprecedented damage to various areas of New York, President Barack Obama has ordered federal aid for the region in order to help quell the tragic mess of Hurricane Sandy.

As of 6 a.m. EST, here is the latest update to the storm:

  • There has been an explosion (above) at a Con Edison Plant at East 14th and FDR Drive.
  • Subways remain out of order in NYC.
  • There have been 83 total deaths.
  • Over 50 homes burned to the ground in a single six-alarm fire in Queens.
  • Over 7.5 million people are without power around the country.

Downgraded from a hurricane to an "extratropical cycle," Sandy is now moving westward across Pennsylvania.

Please be safe out there, everyone. This is a big deal, Lindsay Lohan.
