Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli are over.

For now, anyway. Two sources have confirmed that the Oscar-nominated actor and the supermodel recently ended their five year relationship, but amicably.

"They do this every two years," a source points out to Page Six, noting that the door is open for another go. "They could be back together next week."

According to insiders, Leonardo and Bar remain close: "They're still friends and they still talk. They just grew apart and went their separate ways."

The A-list couple began dating in the spring of 2006 before they split for six months in 2009. They rekindled their romance the following year.

"It was a half year for which I am very grateful," Refaeli said in March 2010. "I needed it. I came to understand a lot of things about myself."

Will she come back to Leo after a similar stretch this time?

Someone must have told Bar Refaeli that Esquire thinks Minka Kelly is the Sexiest Woman Alive.

Jewish extremists are urging supermodel Bar Refaeli not to marry her Leonardo DiCaprio because it would dilute the Jewish race, according to media reports.

Granted, Bar Refaeli marrying anyone will dilute DNA in some capacity. But come on ... it's Leonardo DiCaprio. So he's not Jewish ... nobody's perfect, right?

Far-rightist Baruch Marzel wrote a letter to the Sports Illustrated model on behalf of nationalist group Lehava, which aims to fight assimilation among Jews.

"It is not by chance that you were born Jewish. Your grandmother and her grandmother did not dream that one of their descendants would one day remove the family's future generations from the Jewish people," the letter states.

"Assimilation has forever been one of the enemies of the Jewish people."

Is Leonardo DiCaprio out to assimilate the Jewish faith?

Lehava in Hebrew means "flame" but it is also an acronym for "Preventing Assimilation in the Holy Land." According to the group's Facebook page, it aims to provde assistance to Jewish girls in relationships with non-Jews, and especially Arabs.

Marzel says he "has nothing against Mr. DiCaprio, who I have no doubt is a talented actor." Still, he urges: "Come to your senses, look forward and back ... not only the present. Don't marry Leonardo DiCaprio, don't harm the future generations."

Okay, look. Can't we just agree on two things?

1. The Departed was awesome.
2. The man who sees Bar Refaeli nude for life will be chosen by Bar alone, and with all due respect to extremist Jews, we are all members of one human family.

Certain sentences should just never be written.

But unfortunately the above headline had to be, as it is literally, disturbingly and hilariously true. Bar Refaeli's legs around some random guido's head? Wow.

Mike Sorrentino, a.k.a. The Situation from Jersey Shore, got a chance to party hard with Leonardo DiCaprio just last month at the hot nightclub Voyeur in L.A.

The ads were shot by photographer Gilles Bensimon. If that names sound familiar, that's because it should: Gilles is the ex-husband of Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon. He also took the nude photos of her that will soon appear in Playboy.

Hopefully, he convinced Refaeli to follow in his former wife's naked footsteps at some point in the future. For now, let's just appreciate Bar in the semi-buff:

Bar Refaeli seems to be quickly moving on with life after her recent breakup - which apparently actually did take place - with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Israeli supermodel was spotted partying with Brazilian polo player and entrepreneur Ricardo Mansur in the French Riviera town of Saint-Tropez.

Ricardo Mansur's playboy credentials are impeccable: his former flames reportedly include model Isabeli Fontana and none other than Gisele Bundchen.

Bar Refaeli, who graced the cover of this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, was seen laughing, taking photos and drinking a beer with Mansur.

Bar Refaeli has replaced Brazilian beauty Gisele Bundchen as the new face for the young contemporary brand, Rampage. It's hard to argue with either choice.

Okay, even that was an exaggeration. We know nothing about this video of Bar Refaeli naked, other than that it is in black and white, and features the supermodel rolling around in seductive poses while some music plays in the background.

As for what purpose it was made, we have no clue.

But it also doesn't matter. It's Bar Refaeli. Wearing no clothing. By definition, it's already a winner - and we imagine that when you take a look at it, you won't disagree.

Why either one of these hotties would pull the plug, we can't imagine. But some say Bar Refaeli and Leonardo DiCaprio have called it quits once more.

"They're taking time off for the time being, they've split," says a source to People. "It could end up as a break. For now they're doing their own thing."

That much was certainly apparent over the weekend as the Israeli-born Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, 23, walked the red carpet at Hollywood Life's 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards solo, refusing to speak about Leonardo DiCaprio.

Meanwhile, the Titanic star hit the hotspot Avenue in New York City, where he was seen chatting with another woman: "He was standing at the bar in front of everyone talking to a girl the entire night – and it wasn't Bar," says one onlooker.

Conversely, TMZ posted photos of the two together - last night - at a bookstore. The celeb news site cites other people saying the two are still on.

Hopefully these two are not broken up. Why? Because we like them both. And they could potentially create the most beautiful celebrity babies ever one day.

A People source claiming to be in Bar's circle also suggested they broke up because Leo "didn't treat her very well, almost like a second-hand girlfriend."

However, TMZ counters that "you can take it to the bank Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli are still together ... we've talked to people who really know!"
